Size is as expected. Shoe feels solid/stable on a variety of terrain. Sole is grippy on smooth and rough surfaces. Shoe grips my foot from heal to toe comfortably. Toe box snug side to side but a little roomy up and down. Not a hit as I have had other shoes pinch my toes and that is way worse. I like the speed laces but need to be cautious ot to over tighten as that does some odd things in the toe box. Easy on and off though which I like a lot.

I have have several pair of these now, and they are my everyday shoes. They offer great support when I am on my feet several hours a day. I will keep buying them as long as they are available. I also using for hiking the local trials

I love these shoes. They are extremely comfortable and easy to put on. The support in the ankle and the quick lace are just what I was looking for. Thank you Salomon!

I had a pair of blue XA Pro 3D shoes which worked great for two years for hiking, light trail running, and walking about. I liked that it had a more flexible top vs the Gore-tex version, but ultimately I think the waterproofing makes the GTX version much more versatile.

I love these shoes. Got my first pair for hiking in Patagonia. Now on my 3rd pair. I wear them for everything (even a wedding). Comfortable and supportive. Lacing system is awesome. My only complaint is that the heel fabric/padding (inside shoe) wears out too fast. I put duct tape inside the heel so it lasts longer. Wish a more durable material was used.

I bought these for my husband . He likes it but it's not his favorite. It's not as comfy as his other Salomons for standing all day at work. It has good traction for trails and good toe protection.

The XA pro 3D is my go to daily shoe and has been for years. I think I'm on pair 12. The new design seems to be great except for the noise level. The lower lace eyelet does not have the plastic insert like the other eyelets. This causes the shoe to make a loud squeak with every step. Quite annoying. Please add the insert to this eyelet also.

I have owned several pairs of XA pro. Always order a 13 and wear them right out of the box. Not this time! Size 13 was more like a 14. Trying to decide if I should order a size smaller???

I hiked Mt Washington in these shoes. I had no problem hiking up the mountain, started getting some pain while coming down but only because I have wide feet, I should have bought the wide version. If you dont have wide feet, this is the perfect shoe for you. It is extremely comfortable and completely waterproof. I have walked in snow, rain and crossed various kind of terrains and been completely dry. Would recommend

I wear these hiking, traveling and even as dress shoes to weddings. Love the lacing system and super comfortable. Only complaint is they wear out behind my heel. How difficult would it be to use tougher fabric there?

Love the style and function. Not the lightest shoe and the forefoot runs NARROW. Still breaking in but kind of disappointed but the level of uncomfortability of the narrow footbed.

Only have had them for a month so far so good, seem like they will be durable.

One of the best shoes I ever bought. I have worn my Salomon Men's Xa Pro 3D Trail Running Shoes as my primary shoes for walking, running, hiking and daily wear. Had the pair for four years still in great shape, but the glue in the center of sole wore out.

Very comfortable from the start. Sizing is spot on. I would give it 5 stars but it's a little higher around the ankle for me.

I have purchased in the past and been very pleased with the XA. I walk alot in 24 hours and I need a solid shoe that stands up to different terrains.

Love the shoe but it isn't for a narrow foot. I walk around 10-15k step each day at work. First day with them I gave myself a heck of a blister.

I have had several pair of Salomon shoes and they always hold up and are comfortable.

I have had a pair of XA Pro #D that I use to train for the Camino de Santiago. They are 11.5 wide and feel a bit sloppy, but are comfortable and seem durable. I tried an 11.5 medium and just can't get comfortable in them. There is something in one of the shoes that rubs my toe the wrong way. otherwise these are fine, and Salomon has been great to work with on my return.

I've owned one pair or another of these shoes for close to 15yrs now, they've always fit my feet just right. This latest pair is no exception. Just know that my feet are not the same as yours, so you'll have to try them out.

Im a thru hikers completing the main three thru hikes in the USA, These are my shoe of choice , ive worn these shoes over thousands of miles and they have always looked after my feet. I just love them

Courier at Fedex and these shoes have been my all around go to accessory for my work conditions.very stable support wise.decently cusioned.bulletproof exterior. This piece and the goretex version are repurchased year after year!

This isn't my first pair of these. Solid shoe and company all the way around. Very pleased with all aspects

This shoe is well made and I believe will last a long time. However it is not as stable as expected, sits a little higher, which most people will probably like. I feel it is a great "hiking" shoe, but for more serious off trail hiking or trail running, I'll look at something closer to the Speedcross.

Have been wearing these shoes since the originals. What happened to all the good colours as only seem to have black now.
