These boots were comfortable since the first time I wore them, no need to break in. I sized up 1/2 size based on reviews and glad I did - room for decently thick socks.

I love these boots! I've never been a hiking-boots person, but I'm hooked. I use these boot several times a week for long homes in the redwoods, walks on the beach, and bike rides. I have difficulty staying warm and these boots are perfect!

Love these, best decision ever when I bought these. Extremely comfortable, I've hiked in them for hours, no blisters. They also came in handy during this Texas winter storm.

Comfortable

These hiking boots were true to size and were immediately comfortable on my first outing, no breaking in required! I did add some waterproofing spray to the boots but they seemed to hold up well in different weather conditions and river crossings.

Love the sneaker-like feel of these boots. They are extremely lightweight and do not feel chunky like some of the other hiking boots. They are form fitting thanks to the lacing system and provide a lot of feel for what's underneath you. Great for all seasons considering they are waterproof around the lower edge, can grip on ice and slush, and are still breathable enough for the spring & summer. Great looking product as well. All in all very impressed with these!

Very comfortable, lightweight boot! I was skeptical about the waterproofing, but even when hiking in the rain or snow, my feet have never been wet! Great boot, great quality!

Love this boot for hiking. Little to no break in time. Would recommend sizing up a half size. Great grip and support especially in the ankles. Love the vibram sole.

I used these shoes right out of the box on a 7mi hike and didn't have to break them in. They are lightweight making them prefect for hiking.

I bought these as my previous North Face hiking boots were 5 years old and were in dire need of replacing. Since I didn't have a chance to break them in before my hike, I was worried I would end up with blisters and sore feet. To my surprise, they were extremely soft and comfy even on the first wear. In addition, they were super light. This was vastly different from my previous North Face boots that I had to break in over several hikes and were kind of heavy and clunky. These babies are gold!

These shoes are super comfy. I bought a half size up and use wool socks and they are perfect. The heel has a bouncy cushion feel that makes hiking for long hours very bearable. Would highly recommend these shoes! They do look a little big but I'm small so that's just a minor nuance.

Gave me great times at yosemite, zion, bryce, seqouia and hopefully many more to come

I wore these for the first time on a 9 hour hike. I didn't break them in first. They were absolutely amazing!! The most comfortable shoes. My feet never hurt, I never got blisters, they were perfect on the first use. Never slipped or lost tread, and they provided great support.

Can I just say, I NEVER write reviews for shoes. Call me lazy, but I just don't. I loved these shoes so much that I had to write a review. I used them for the first time on a 4 mile hike yesterday. Lots of rocks and incline and these shoes offered SO much support. They are so comfortable. Think of your most comfortable pair of tennis/running shoes but with the support and sturdiness of hiking shoes. They have this foam like insole that's like walking on clouds. Oh, and I walked through several streams, they are, in fact, waterproof. I usually twist my ankles while hiking (weak ankles) but the ankle support on these shoes is really great. Like everyone else, I sized up 1 entire size. I'm usually a 9 and I ordered 10.
