Really like these hiking boots, perfect for moderate intensity/length hiking with good ankle support. I sized up a half size, per the previous reviewers recommendation and they fit perfectly with proper hiking socks underneath. I guess I agree that they are waterproof, although I submerged them fully under water during a hike and my socks/feet got wet (which is understandable given I was in water up above the ankle for an extended period of time). I did put them in the washer and dryer afterwards and they were perfectly fine and looked almost as good as new!

Amazing hybrid boot/shoe/hiker. Highly recommend.I wanted something to be able to walk or run and not weigh me down, but also to be warm and not slip on ice/snow. This is that shoe! My feet are always cold and with just one layer of socks, they are never cold with these. I walk and run on ice, snow, rain and trails. Lightweight, waterproof, comfortable, warm and stylish. I live in a four season climate, and we have very warms summers and very cold winters. This is the best all around shoe/boot I have ever worn! I am a 9 and bought a 9.5.

I wear these boots for my daily walks in cooler weather and winter weather. Super comfortable and by far the best boot I have tried. I easily walk five miles a day so I've gone through several.

These hiking boots are the most comfortable boots I have bought and I have tried 8-10 different brands. Lightweight, memory foam, and stylish. I walk 4-5 miles a day and these were comfortable right out of the box.

After reading the reviews I decided to order half a size bigger and I am glad I did. These boots run small. I usually wear an 8.5 in LaSportiva, which are equivalent to EU 40. But apparently a 9 on these ones are also equivalent to the same size 40. So, I am not sure which system is used, but I would recommend ordering half a size bigger. The boots are comfortable and light, my feet got a bit sweaty, I noticed there is a membrane covering the fabric where the boot is supposed to breath.

Just started to wear this pair for short hiking trips to break it down before the long hike I planned next month. Really like the lightweight feeling. Even though this is not water proof, but my feet were still dry after crossing wet area.

I purchased these for an upcoming BP trip that will consist of a mix of sand, ocean and boulder hopping. I was looking for a lightweight high top style. I have tried them out several times in preparation for my trip and they are perfect. They are comfortable and def the most lightweight shoes of this style I've tried. I did have a slight issue with the tongue area rubbing some on my ankle when going down hill but with a slight adjustment I was able to get rid of the irritation. Love these shoes

Really light and comfortable, haven't taken them on a long distance hike yet, but they looks very promising. I would definitely size up half a size, especially if you plan on wearing thick hiking socks.

I was looking for a super lightweight shoe for a mostly sand backpacking trip coming up. I've tried them out on a few occasions and really love them. They are very lightweight, and I still have support and traction for many different terrains. Plus I love the style.

I have gone on multiple short/medium length hikes in these boots and have really enjoyed them. They fit more like a sneaker than a bulky hiking boot. They are comfortable, but still help prevent stubbed toes or twisted ankles.

Surprisingly lightweight even though it doesn't look it. Feels like a sneaker when on but highly supportive and easy to put on. Can't wait to take it on some serious hikes!

These hiking boots are amazing. I wore them for a 9 day hiking trip in Utah and they held up really well. Very comfortable and it was my first time wearing them. Perhaps better for narrow feet, as I do have narrow heels and they were perfect. The traction was amazing on the slick sandstone-- I felt like Spiderman in these!

I went a half size up on these boots based on previous reviews. I'm normally a 7.5 and got 8s. Found that that helped with the toe box and gave me room for thicker socks. I got these to replace a pair of Merrills. The traction is great and super lightweight. I like that they water resistant and I liked the black with pops of pink. These boots feel like sneakers in weight but have more ankle support. Definitely didn't feel fatiguing on long hikes. Highly recommend and even better if you get them on sale!

Light enough for trail running, comfortably supportive on steep ascents & descents (haven't checked out water resistance yet)
