It is well made, but it really squeezes your toes together. It has a snug fit on the ankle and on other parts of the foot. But, the medium-size squeezes your toes together and that's the deal-breaker right there. The colors are pretty.

I bought these shoes in January 2020 and I found them to be comfortable to run in. I do alternate shoes, but in 8 months this pair did get a fair bit of wear. However, I have had MANY pairs of running shoes which saw many more miles and seen no more damage than maybe a pinky toe wear through. I was running a route which took me through a bit of flat trail and stepped on a root which caused me to roll my foot to the side, which caused a complete tear along the seam. I'm surprised at the extent of the tear as the shoes appear to be in pretty good shape otherwise.

I have always had problems with pronation and have always looked for shoes with TPU bar, etc.which have always helped tremendously. I used Saucony's shoe/foot guide and boy,did it mess my feet up and my ankles and my knees. This shoe caused me to supinate bad, which I have never had that problem. So be careful. I do like Saucony, but I will never use their shoe guide again.

I have worn Saucony Cohesion line for the past few years. Bought this as it was recommended for alignment and knee protection, but I didn’t realize it came with no cushioning. The shoes felt really hard as I put them on, and have no give whatsoever as you step. Feels like stepping on hard plastic.
I tend to fall in between sizes depending on the brand so went with the higher half-size based on other reviews, but found that I had way too much room width-wise, to a point where my foot was “swimming around” and had no stability, yet my big toe was still right up against the edge and even hurt after a while.
Bummed as from the look of it the shoe looks amazing but the fit is not at all what I expected or would have liked.

I've been wearing Saucony's for 22 years. (First Hurricanes then switched to Guides about 12 years ago). I've had pretty much every model of Guides and this is my first complaint. There is something strange about the fit of the heel. No matter how I lace them up...tighter, looser, tight on top, loose in middle, etc...my heels always seem to come out the back. I've been wearing same size forever (size 8) and have never had a sizing issue with these. My toes are also at right place in the toe box. I'd love to swap them for an older model. What happened with the 13?

Just bought a pair of Guide 13s to replace my Guide ISO2 (LOVE) and first quarter mile into my run had to stop due to increasing pain on the outside of my feet.
I'm going to try some different insoles as I suspect that to be the issue with this pair, but not loving the reviews on this shoe.
I had moved away from Saucony for a few years due to them messing with my Guides and making them impossible to wear. Sadly I think they've driven me away again.

thought i would try a new style. I am a long time distance runner. The shoe is good quality but the fit and support not what i expected. It actually is making my legs more tired and achy. I am sorry I switched. I run 30 to 50 miles a week and even new I can't wear these. Bad choice on my part.

After, reading the information about this shoe I thought this would be the perfect shoe. I sent the first pair back and now the second pair. It's hard to get the right fitted shoe is tight on the top and a little big in the back. While walking my feet was hurting on the top part of the shoe. Which was not a comfortable walk at all. I guess next time I will just go back to the store to order. I'm not feeling this shoe at all

Was really hoping these shoes would be like previous pairs in the same line, but these have basically no arch support. Also - I attempted to buy some inserts to add support, but the toe box was way too wide for them. Bummer. Won't be buying again.

I have been a loyal Saucony fan for 10+ years. I mostly use them to run, but I also use them for walks. I have never been so disappointed in a pair of sneakers. They are rock hard, the sole and insole. They're not heavy, but it feels and sounds like I'm running with bricks on the bottom of my feet, because they're so stiff. At the end of my runs, I get tingling in my feet. I'm really disappointed. They're nice looking shoes, but that's all they've got.

As a loyal Saucony fan for over 30 years, I have always loved the fit, comfort & durability of the Saucony brand. The last 2 pair of Guide shoes that I have had have not proven to be the case. The first pair wore through in the toe shredding the toe box open. To prevent this, I usually put duct tape inside in the toe area. I replaced them with this particular shoe. Within 2 weeks of very light mileage the inside ankle padding opened a big hole. They have been replaced but it concerns me that the last 2 pair of Sauconys I've had have resulted in defects. I sincerely hope this is not a trend for this brand/style.

I have been lucky to be able to have the Guide ISO2 in my life. It solved my painful plantar faciitis problem for 2 years! I bought a couple of pair. When those wore out I needed new shoes and since the Guide ISO2 is no longer available, I was told that the Guide 13 was the updated version. I tried it for a few days indoors only to have my plantar faciitis start to come back. I like the shoe, but for me because the padding behind the ankle is more protruded toward the ankle than on the ISO2,, it started heel problems again, thus having to return them. Makes me sad they didn't work out as they are comfortable otherwise and very nice looking. Maybe others will have better luck than me.

I have been wearing Saucony Grid Cohesion running shoes for over 10 years and things were great until recently. I went to the local running shoe store to buy my regular shoe and was told that this style is no longer made. The new style are the Guide. What I liked about the Cohesion were the cushion, neutral arch support, quality and overall feel of the shoe. At first glance this new Guide was stylish and felt super cushiony. I have used these new Guides for about 8 runs and every time I run my arches hurt so bad, and my feet feel super tight. This shoe has high arch support not neutral like the Cohesion. Also, the fit is very snug. You will need to go up a size or two. The worst part about the Guide, after only 3 runs I noticed at tear in my new shoe. I still have Cohesions that are several years old without cushioning that I use to cut grass, and they look just as new as the first day I bought them (no holes). The new Guide shoe is very stylish, but I need comfort of style. Also, as expensive as these shoes are, I expect better quality. I will not be buying Guides again. Please bring back the Grid Cohesion!

I've run in Saucony for years and the ISO has been my go-to shoe so I didn't hesitate to order the Guide for spring-summer running. I've been running in them for about a month and the top of both shoes is starting to rip and it's the shoe, not me. I compared to my ISO pair and noticed the toe box reinforcement is no longer there. The perferated fabric hits directly on the front toe mold and it's ripping. Disappointed in Saucony and although I have to replace the shoe months before I normally do, it will not be a Saucony.

They squeak when I walk. I can't tighten the shoe enough for my heel not to slip. And either my foot has grown or this style of Saucony is smaller than usual. The toe box is not only too narrow but also too short.

They are too short It's the size I always have ordered and this pair are shorter than any others I have ordered from you. They are more like a 6&1/2 not a 7 wide. They are sitting in my closet unused.

very bizarre fit. I've been wearing Saucony running shoes exclusively for 20 years. I always order the same size (1 size larger than my normal shoe size) and nver have any problem. I ordered these 1.5 size larger and they were still too small. Next largest size -- which would have been 2 full sizes larger -- was not available. My wife has worked in footwear for 30 years and thinks the factor messed up the manufacture of these shoes. I ended up buying my first pair of Asics directly from Asics which fit fine and have worked out for me.
Zappos messed up this order multiple times, first sending me the wrong replacement size (a sizer 8 instead of 12) and then shipping to the wrong address. Not sure whats going on with Zappos. Their customer service is usually exceptional.
I'd also recommend:

I have used your Saucony running shoes for 35 years including many marathons. I always used marathon womens (a am mrs Mancilla) . I loved them. This shoes is terrible, the toe box is too loose and does not have the support the old model had ( ISO series, marathon ) I do not know why you change a perfectly good shoe into this. You did a change like this to marathon model many years ago, I stoped buying from you but then you changed it again into similar form as the old one and I was happy.
Now I have to find another shoe and I am considering going to a new company. Please bring back ISO Series 2 !!!!!

I've run in the Saucony Guide for 8 years and I have been extremely loyal to the shoe. I was so excited for the Guide 13 to come out and ordered my normal 8.5 W...they were great, no need to even break them in, they were comfortable from the start. I ordered 2 more pairs in the same size, 8.5 W, I can barely walk in them because they are so narrow and make my feet fall asleep. I ran one mile in the new pair today and my feet were on fire because my toes were so crunched. I'm so sad. I will never order these shoes again.
