I am a true 9.5 in all Saucony - I was excited to move into a more stable shoe and thought the Women's guide 13 would be a great place to start. I have worn them now for two long walks (to break in) and today, for sprints. After the first time out I came back and immediate loosened the laces - there was a lot of pressure on the top of my foot and the big toe. The second walk it was still noticeable. With doing sprints today by the end of the run my poor toesies felt cramped and a bit numb. I am stymied by the huge difference in fit. I'm undecided on continuing to wear these and discouraged because now I am unsure when I order my next pair what size to get?/

Had a previous pair that worked well and this pair was a replacement . Bought online the same style and size as before and did not fit at all. Way to narrow and fit small, Didn't seem to have the arch support as last pair either. Had to return

I've run in Saucony shoes for years. I've used the Ride series, the Guide series, and I tried Hurricane once because I'm very flatfooted, but it wasn't helpful. This shoe was disappointing compared to other versions of the Guide: it's not as cushiony, feels thinner all around, the laces are WAYYYY too short (I appreciate getting rid of the long versions, since they potentially are a hazard but these laces are difficult to double-knot). But my legs/feet are holding up so as long as the shoes don't injure my body (which *has* happened with a popular different brand), that's a good sign. And they seem more lightweight than earlier versions.

Despite my ordering a half sze larger and D width these shoes were still too narrow especially in heel area of my foot. Otherwise thay seem very comfortable and I like the teal blue/green color. Dissappointed but I think I need to return them.

I had no idea a new style is being released in June. I would have waited. I have a pair like this they just had fallen apart. Jodie Minkin

The reviews said this shoe was plush so I tried it. After the first mile the outside of both feet feel asleep. The shoe felt stiff and the heel was much harder than I anticipated. I returned the shoe.

This shoe is definitely made better than other brands as far as durability. I have trouble with my toes going to sleep about 2 miles into my run though. I plan to purchase insoles to see if this fixes the problem. I have gotten compliments on the look of the shoe.

I'm a saucony fan for my running shoes and the Guide model (tried two pairs) just didn't fit my foot properly and caused some discomfort. They are okay to walk in casually but not for running (for me)!

I've been wearing Guide's since they first launched (version 1), and have owned multiple pairs of every subsequent version. I used versions 1-11 for treadmill running. I ran 20-30 mi/week in my Guide's and never once had a complaint. The 13s, however, are a major disappoint to me. I can no longer run in them, they are simply too uncomfortable. So much so that I've designated them specifically for outdoor walks. And even the first 3 months just walking in them physically hurt. Version 13 took thrice as many miles to break in and aren't nearly as wide as previous versions. For the first three months of wearing them, which was every day for the 2 mi I push my 59 lb disabled rescue dog in a stroller around the neighborhood, my feet, ankles, shins, calves and hip flexors were in pain both during and after the walk. It wasn't until month 4 that they felt "broken in" and my body stopped screaming at me for lacing them up. Despite my brand loyalty and long-standing affection for the model, I cursed the 13s every day of those first 3 months. I swore I would never buy another pair again. They were so uncomfortable that it felt like I was wearing cheap hard plastic bricks that weighed me down. I doubt I will ever consider purchasing the 14s. I'm sad to have to break up with Saucony this way, but with age comes the knowledge that comfort is most important. I'm ditching what no longer suits me. They don't have the arch support I need. The toe box isn't wide enough but the heel is too wide. While I find them somewhat comfortable now that they're broken in I still have to "row the boat" with the laces to keep my heel in place, which often cuts off circulation at my instep. Unfortunately these were a major fail for me.

The fit and size were true for the numbers/letters, but the Wide was not wide enough for me. Also, the right shoe has a defect--the toe's rubber is flaking off. The shoes did not come in a Brooks box, so I wonder if some mixup happened. Thank you!

not very breathable and not as much room in the toebox as I had hoped. The changes they made to this year's model were not for the better. unimpressed at best

These fit ok, but even after just a couple steps, the cheap material bent like cardboard at the bend of my foot. They are also not the most attractive option, even for running shoes.

The previous Guide shoes that I have purchased have all been 9.5 wide and they fit fine. These, however, are more narrow in the toe and are causing me problems with a black toenail. I wish you kept the old styles that were great. You keep changing them. I may have to look elsewhere for my shoes.

I think I will be looking for a different brand. So far had 4 Saucony sneakers and each has a different fit even though I keep searching for the same. 2 of them I fell in love with the other 2 can't wait to get my slippers on. I always order wide and search out a wide toe box but have to say the description of these is not true to size. My feet ache horribly at the end of the day. I wear these all day at work in addition to working out with them daily. It seems the heel gets pushed too far up so the very high arch is under my heal and the mid foot is too narrow. Even in the wide. Terribly unhappy with these and very upset since I can't return or exchange.

I asked for these shoes as a gift because I loved the Everrun Guide ISO 2. I had been wearing Guide's for the past few years as hospital work shoes. These new Guide 13's do not fit the same. They are too narrow, my feet feel like they are spilling over the sides. The right-sided shoe only has awkward arch placement, I feel like I'm stepping on the arch with my heel. I have been wearing them for an hour and have major foot cramping going on already. Very disappointing.

The shoe is very shallow. My foot feels like it is going to slide out of it. Older versions were much more comfortable. Disappointed.

The Guide13 women's shoes felt great when I tried them on in the store, but when I walked in them the first time my knees hurt and my back hurt. That had never happened with a shoe previously. I tried walking in them three more times, and every time I paid for it in pain. I'm not sure what's wrong with the design, but I would NOT recommend them.

I buy this brand for it's “cush.” New foam adopted apparently is more durable but far less soft. Back it goes. ?
