Absolutely love Moab but sb called mfoab. Lacing the top hooks is over the top frustrating. Merrell please fix the design in your next update. Again love the boots but a fix needed.

I had a previous pair with similar styling, so I was confident in the size, but these are tighter inside. I tried to wear them and hope they would stretch out, but they are too small.

Love them, just wish the 12.5 had been available. Going to Portugal in a week and had to go ahead and get a pair for lots of hiking. I had 12.5 on back order for quite a long time. Hopefully they will be available when its time for my next pair.

Thie MOAB 2 boot is comfortable and has outstanding arch support features. Great for people with high arches. However, the arch appears to have been shifted a little toward the back of the shoe (as compared to my older versions). As a result, I had to exchange up to a half size larger shoe than my actual shoe size so that the arch support would line up correctly with my arch. Not a big issue, but it is a change from how my old MOAB 1 boots were fitted.

Very sturdy boot but it's a bit snug with a sports sock - so now I'm stuck wearing my dress socks or fun socks with my boots (frown).

Best recommendation I could provide is I have purchase five pairs of these boots. They fit as expected and keep my feet dry in the muck without sweating. You can hose them off but you'll want to get a suede brush to finish cleaning them up. Soles dig in really well on slippery sideslopes.

As someone with a wide foot and a high instep, I find it hard to get footware that fits, and is comfortable for hours at a time. These boots are all that.. The fit is just right. They breath fairly well. And are light. After 12 hours they feel as good as when I first put them on.

Absolutely love these boots. I wear a wide and feel that these are still a touch snug but they got better with time.

Delivered a day early! Wore these into Yosemite for their maiden hike. From Glacier point down into the Valley and back out with no shoe issues. Brand new and several miles covered with no blisters due to fit. I wear a 2E and these feel like a 4E. The shoe is a generous 10.5. Good ankle support without loss of mobility. I am happy with them for light hiking.

My second pair of Merrill's. Awesome in all respects except buy at least 1-1/2 sizes larger than normal.My last purchase was 2 sizes larger and now fits perfectly,

I was happy to find the size and color I needed. The boots were comfortable right out of the box. They are durable but lightweight. They are not as waterproof as I had hoped. Overall, I like them enough to buy a second pair.

Bought these instead of the same brand I had, good fit and feel. I think I made a good choice!

Feels great right out of the box. I'm on my third pair. I'm on my feet all day...great work shoe...great weekend shoe.

I would like to have a softer sole And a thicker foot bed like foam with gel Because I spend all day on a concrete floor. Over this is great looking boot and tough. Thanks

I have purchased 5 pairs of the Moab Ventilators over the years, and decided to spend the extra money for the waterproof version last time and was disappointed in the waterproof feature. The Moab Ventilators are my favorite footwear for work, hiking and Disc Golfing. I play Disc Golf year round and that requires me to walk through creeks, flooded areas, etc... and had hoped that the waterproof Moab would eliminate the inconvenience of playing with wet feet.

I have an especially wide foot and I didn't think these would be wide enough but they are. They're quite comfortable and fit well right out of the box. I wore them around the house for a couple of days and then headed out on the trail. No problems whatsoever with rubbing or blisters which is something that can happen with new boots. I gave these boots four stars rather than five for one reason. The laces are too short. When the boot is snugged down from the factory there's enough lace but once the boot was opened and relaced with my foot inside I could barely make one knot let alone the double knot system I use when hiking so the boots don't come untied. The laces that came with the boot are 56" and I had to head to a sporting goods store to buy longer laces. Merrell, a 13Wide needs extra long laces.

I really like these boots! They are comfortable and make walking feel effortless. The only downside is the toe area. It seems to let in moisture which is a downside especially in a Michigan winter and working outdoors. So, your toes get cold. It's not horrible but it is an annoyance.

These were perfect for my son who needed a new pair of warm, easy on and off, boots to walk across campus in tha snow!

2nd pair and they hold up well in every day use.

These boots are very comfortable and wear well. I have had the earlier version and wore them just about every day until I wore them out.

I LOVE these boots. I work 56+ hours a week in 16 hour shifts. I've never had a problem with sore feet in these boots. From day one they were comfortable, with basically no break in period. I tried on 27 pairs from 8 different brands before I decided to go with these. I would recommend them to anyone. I have walked 1,111 miles in these shoes (thanks Fit bit!). I was told that averaging 30 miles a week, these would prob last 6-12 months. I am on month 8 and there is very little tread wear. I've included a picture so you can see for yourself. Ignore The mouflon poop. The only thing I have noticed is a little loosening overall, which is to be expected. The reason for only 4 stars is... These shoes are not waterproof. About 2 weeks in, I was helping participate in an Easter Egg hunt in Nevada City. My shoes were completely soaked after 10 min in the wet grass. It took 36 hours to air dry completely. Since then I had had a couple of raining days or puddle mishaps. The shoes get wet, but they always dry with no major issues. But we are now moving into the snow season where I work... So I bought the gore-tex version of the Moab 2. They came today (hence the review) and are just as comfortable right out of the box. Let's hope they are waterproof.

Great fit and felt great on the trail straight out of the box. The grip is fantastic and I found traction even in loose soil on climbs. My only issue is that the back of the shoe puts an uncomfortable pressure on my achilles when walking down hill. It seems to be a defect in just the left shoe, because there were no problems with the right one. Other than this I really enjoyed this product.

The boot looked great and has a lot of cool features. Good arch support. I just have a wider foot and a narrow heel. I might try a wide, but unfortunately I may fall in between width sizes :(
