sadly I will be returning this shoe. It it way too narrow.

Every seam on my right shoe and three on my left is torn after less than 6 months wearing these great shoes to the office.

I used these on a home-elliptical a couple times before venturing outside. They seemed OK, so I took a long walk (45 minutes), and then my right foot hurt bad. Too late to return them! I hoped they would OK in time, continued to wear them around the house a bit to work them in, but the pain persisted so I showed them to my podiatrist who said the hard side probably wasn't good for me. (The shoes have a hard-spot right where my foot started to hurt). Too bad, I really liked the look and feel, other than the sore spot! Merrill website says they take returns of unused shoes (these were definitely used) and that comfort and fit are the responsibility of the purchaser. So I didn't try to return them, since it seemed like it would be a waste of my time.

I purchased this shoe in waterproof version for a Safari to Africa this year. These are the most uncomfortable sneakers I have ever worn! They are super wide and bulky and caused issues with my ankles and heels to the point I was limping through airports at the end of my trip. And the waterproof version is really hot to the point I would have to take my shoes off during the day at times. Most of safari was in Jeeps we only did one hike so I can't understand why they are so uncomfortable. They are going in the garbage I even tried wearing them when we returned from our trip even walking around town caused a lot of foot pain. This is unusual for me as I'm a super active person. To Merrell's credit they offered me a refund but was not easy to get that refund had to call a number of times but in the end they accomodated me.

I always wear size 6 in Merrell, I purchased this shoe with another Merrell of same size. This shoe was about half inch longer than the usual 6's. The shoe is also quite narrow. I did not find the insoles to be comfortable. Disappointed that I must pay for a return when the sizing is not really correct/same as other Merrell's.

I've had these shie about a week, worn them walking on my county road, and I have a blister on my left heel - just cannot get that shoe laced tightly enough so it doesn't rub. I have another pair of Merrell hiking/walking shoes that I bought earlier this year, have worn multiple times without a similar problem - should have bought that same style again! I also don't like the way they look, but that's my fault for not paying closer attention. I have been buying Merrella for years and this is my first disappointment.

I love Merrill footwear and have been loyal for years because of comfort and design but these are a huge disappointment. I sized up a half size as other customers recommended and should not have but regardless of sizing, they are not comfortable in toe area and around ankle.

Returned on same day as delivered. Terrible design. Tongue was sewn into she except for about an inch at the top. Very tight. Why have all the laces if you can't adjust the shoe? Very disappointing.

The metal notch for the top lace came off within a week of having these shoes.

I sent these back. The tounge on these only opens hslwsy down the lace area. It rubbed horribly on my srch. Just like most paks do.

Twice ordered women's size 7. NO WAY they were a Women's. They were about 4 inches too big and I always wear Merrell's size 7. Thought the first one was a fluke so sent it back and re-ordered but second one was also a man's.

As a loyal Merrell shoe lover I was extremely disappointed in this shoe. After reading the reviews I had thought this would be the perfect shoe. It was flimsy, poor arch support, uncomfortable. Not the quality I expected from Merrell.

As soon as put these on I knew I couldn't keep them. The shoe goes up behind your heel and was massively uncomfortable. Very cute shoe in looks, but sent them back as I wouldn't be able to walk for long in them.
