Very nice shoe but too tight across the toes. Had to send them back.

I'm normally a big fan of your shoes. Great comfort. Sturdy built shoes. But the added debri tongue in the Bravado does not work well with a high foot arch like mine. It's so tight I ended up cutting it to get some relief from the pain it caused on the tops of my feet. So I would only reccomend this one to folks who don't have high foot arches.

Returned too tight. I ordered the same size in Merrill that I have worn for years but these were short and very narrow. Next time I will try a Wide width to see if that makes a difference. Moab model seems to be my best bet.

I have the Moab boots, I love. So living where it is hot, I decided to buy these to be cooler on easy trails. I got the non-waterproof for ventilation. These are terrible, not bad for comfort but my feet get wet and sweat, even just wearing them in the house. These are not the waterproof version, so they shouldn't be sealed up and non-ventilated. Thought maybe it was the socks, so I got a few different kinds of moister wicking, coolmax, tried good brands of socks. NOPE, the shoes have no ventilation, the do nothing but trap heat and make my feet wet. Ive never had a shoe of any kind do this. The Moab waterproof boots don't even make my feet wet, just a bit warm on hot days.

They are very comfortable BUT the sizing is inaccurate. I take a size 9 in all my footwear, these fit like a size 10. Unfortunately, I already wore them on the trails, thinking a thicker sock would work. It did not. Expensive lesson.

I absolutely LOVE the style of these shoes. However, that is where the love stops. I exchanged my first pair for a smaller size because they run large. I bought these shoes to wear at the gym and they are just not comfortable. I should have cut my losses and returned these shoes.

I have wide feet and though this might be a good fit. The tongue is attached to the shoe so it really doesn't allow for you to loosen up the laces. If you have normal width shoes, this would probably work for you.

They are comfortable but not what I needed. I think these shoes would work well for light hikes or long walks; however, they don't have good enough ankle support for serious, strenuous hiking over rocky or steep terrain. Unfortunately I have to keep them since I wore them to test them out, otherwise would return. I really wish Merrell had a more flexible return and exchange policy!!! Would love to purchase different shoes instead if I could return these.

I was excited about this new hiker/sneaker hybrid but it didn't work for me. The insole was much harder than I expected, and I knew the ball of my foot would not tolerate the thin cushioning for the long term. The overall fit was good, and it seemed that the rest of the shoe's comfort would have been fine. I just knew these shoes didn't have enough cushioning to keep my feet happy for long walks or hikes. Reluctantly, I returned them.

Love the color, fit true to size, but pretty minimal support. Feet hurt after several miles of hiking.

I do not like the fit of this shoe. I have several pairs of Merrells and this is the only one I regret buying and should've sent back.

I had high hopes, love the snug fit around my ankle, but these have virtually ZERO arch support. Even with adding my own arch supports, they create stress on my heel and are just straight uncomfortable. Also the laces stop short leaving a long section between the laces and my toe which just looks a little weird. Sometimes aesthetic appeal matters too.

disappointed; the design is too high on the foot and rubs right on the ankle bone. Returned them...

I tried these on as soon as I received them and loved the comfort. A few weeks later I decided to take a walk around the block to begin to break them in and when I got home I had terrible knee pain. It's almost as if one side of the shoe is slightly higher than the other. Sadly since they are now considered "worn" I cannot exchange them so I am out of luck. No way I can wear these on a hike.

These shoes are not as comfortable as advertised, I prefer other brands for walking. I have purchased other Merrell shoes that were much more comfortable

Don't love. Looking down they are shaped weird. Also not that comfortable. Wish I would have returned. Reviews were raving so I was really looking forward to getting them. The colors are what drew me in.

I own approx 10 pairs of Merrell hiking boots, shoes and only twice have I been disappointed. These are made short and smaller than the other models I own, and even with the online recommendation of staying with the same size, these shoes require a half-size larger than what one usually wears. It also is confusing with the other reviews since the user doesn't specify the model in their own description so who knows? Anyway, love the color I ordered but now have to return or exchange for a larger size...pain in the(%^!

I love Merrill shoes and have been wearing them for over a decade, but I was disappointed in this hiking sneaker. I wanted a lighter weight shoe for summer walks and hikes and was attracted to the advertised support and light weight of the Bravada. The heel and sole/insole do offer good support, certainly much more than a sneaker, but the rest of the shoe felt tight all over. I even ordered a half size bigger so my toes wouldn't smash against the front of the shoe on downhills, but that didn't help. They feel tight where they lace and the fabric rubbed on the sides and top of my toes. I tested them out on a flat walk in 70 degrees and they were very hot. For me this shoe needs to wider and the fabric needs to be more flexible and breathe. Hopefully I'll be able to return them.

As nice as a they looked, they are way oversized. They were one size too big. The front from lace to the toe is very long and not aesthically pleasing at all. I've returned them and am awaiting are refund.

They are not true to size. The 7 1/2 were way too tight so I exchanged for the 8. They were huge. Not happy.

I was excited to start hiking in my new bravada's. The colour is beautiful. Seems like a well made shoe. I hike about 5-6 kms a day. Unfortunately these gave me the worst blisters I've ever had on both my heels. So bad I had to take time off hiking to heel the blisters. I tried the shoes again with liners and hiking socks still completely destroyed the skin in my heels. Very disappointed as I spent the money on these and they are no good.

I am a dog trainer and bought these for occasional wear to work for light walking / standing on pavement, grass or dirt, and occasional walking on a fine gravel parking lot. The soles shred easily, as seen in the photos. These shoes are comfortable, but for what they cost, are not worth the money. The photo shows the shredding on the left sole and the shredding on the side of the sole in the shoe on the right.

If your feet are medium or narrow, these might not be the best option. My feet are medium, but the tongue on these shoes is not separate from the shoe, so when tightening laces, the tongue bunches...in my case, a lot. They are too wide and don't hug my foot well enough. They loosen around the ankle as you hike. They come untied and you have to tighten and retie. They would be pretty comfortable if they just fit right regarding the width. I wish I had not worn them hiking yet or I'd return them. I'm disappointed with this shoe.

Great shoe! I want to keep them since they are pretty comfortable but they seem to be tight around the middle of the foot. There's no stretch. It feels tight and I don't think they will stretch out.
