When I discovered these shoes, I can't tell you how happy I was. The Timp 1.5 was perfect. Why on earth would you change it? I had no choice but to get the Timp 2 because I couldn't find the 1.5. I figured it would be ok but the first time out, I have blisters on both heels. I'm actually distraught. I've had so many issues with other tennis shoes and I thought those days were over. I have no idea now what other model to try. Please change it back. Or give me the option to still buy the Timp 1.5

I really wanted to love these shoes. They are by far the best looking Alras I've seen. First they are super narrow. My foot was hanging off the shoe. Now let's talk about the terrible midsole. This is not a quantic midsole, it's hard as a rock. Originally I thought maybe I got fakes, so I ordered a pair from Altra. Both shoes felt exactly the same, terrible. I tried to break them in by wearing them to work. Twelve hours later my feet hated me. Altra don't try to be anyone else. Please quickly update this shoe, and make it how it should be made. I've settled on the superior which is a million times better.P.S. please hurry with update

The Timp 2 is awful! The Timp 1.5 is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn - large toe box, very stable on the ground and feels like I'm wearing pillows on my feet. The Timp 2 is very, very stiff with a very narrow toe box and feels hard on my feet, as if there is no cushioning at all. Altra, why did you ruin a wonderful shoe?

The new design hurts my toes. Very disappointed. Thank goodness for Keen.

Keep it up, Altra, and you won't be able to use "Embrace the Space" slogan. I loved the Timp 1.5. Perfect in so many ways. Now my feet feel like they're being choked and suffocated even after going up in size. The cushion feels great but these are just too narrow. So disappointing. Time to find a new line I suppose. Stop the narrowing, please!

I have been running in the 1.5 for quite some time. What happened to the toe box on the 2?!?!?! So narrow both width and height! I'll be returning these I'm so sad wish I would've stocked up on the 1.5

Generally a good shoe, love the shape, the sole etc. The only thing that lets it down is the heal/ankle. I've had lots of Altra shoes over the last few years (although never a timp) and never had this problem, always been a fan. However, no matter how tight I tie the laces, I can't get the heal to stay in place, it seems like the lacing doesn't come up the ankle high enough, or the heal is too straight rather than curved round the ankle. and my heal just moves, and rubs raw. This is so much of an issue I can't wear these at all anymore, only worn for around 50km, not worth it! I really hope this hasn't also changed on the new Olympus, as previous versions have seen me through thousands of miles

Over the past few years I have purchased Altra's . The new version of the Timp is the first Altra shoe that hurt my feet.

The Timp 1.5 were my first Altras, and I swore I would never buy a shoe. I have a lot of foot pain with pressure points and plantar issues, along with tendonitis. I put the 1.5s on and felt immediate relief. Now it was time to replace my 1.5s and I liked the black on the 2s so thought I would give them a try. They arrived yesterday and I immediately tried them on. And unfortunately, I immediately took them off. They hit every pressure point I have and were extremely painful. Guess I'll be looking for another shoe brand. . . Again
