These sneakers are too large for me.. I'm ordering the half size smaller and hope they fit.

I thought I would love these New Balance sneakers. Now I have very wide feet, and these were plenty wide enough in the toe box, but it is to wide in heel area. No matter what I do I slip out of them.

The fit and size of the shoe were excellent. I have very wide feet that are otherwise normal size, and I especially appreciate the fact that New Balance makes their soles wider for their wide width shoes instead of just making the uppers roomier. I liked everything about these shoes except that the soles and insoles were stiffer than I expected. The description said that the shoes had "High energizing cushioning", but these shoes feel almost exactly like the Brooks Addiction walker (in leather). I decided to keep the NB 840v4's that I purchased and return these. The 840v4's don't help with my mild overpronation, but I need the extra cushioning they provide.

I liked last years model better because they had some leather near the toe box. these are entirely mesh and you can see your toes move up and down when you walk and that's a little weird looking. they are comfortable though and I have bunions and wear orthotics.

The tongue was too narrow and had to be adjusted often. The laces were too long and it was necessary to rearrange the lacing because shoe was too tight across the top of the shoe. Better than the 1540vs which has a very painful heel edge.

I liked the sneaker very much, but the side construction is too stiff for my sensitive toe.

This is a very comfortable shoe. I ordered a wide, and it was truly comfortable in that regard. I needed a shoe for work (standing on hard surfaces for 12 hours). I narrowed down my choices to this shoe and the Saucony Triumph 18 in wide. Ultimately the Saucony won, as the New Balance was not as cushioned in the heel cup and footbed. The New Balance had great stability and fit, just not enough cush for my old bony feet.

These are big clunky clodhoppers but very supportive and stiff (which I've found is most comfortable for my achy feet/bunions) so I would've worn them anyway. My feet swam in them, though--I always get a wide to accommodate my bunions, but these felt *extra* wide.

nice color, comfortable. 8.5 2A toebox is generous, heel slips a little as always.

Everything was fine. I need batter arch support, so I removed the gel insert and added my own ortho heel and the shoes are now perfect for me.

I ordered Summer Fog/Reflection/Ginger Pink color in 12D. Love the color combination. Felt supportive and cushy. Nice long tongue, but super short shoe laces and a HUGE toe box. I use all of the lace holes in order to help hold my heel in place but using all the shoe lace holes leaves a teeny little bit of lace to tie in a bow and knot. Seriously, the bows were less than an inch long! What's with the short strings. I'm a high intensity walker (aka power walker) and I'm concerned the ginormous toe box will let my foot slide too much and not offer a lot of structure. The material seems soft and am concerned my toe(s) would wear through them fairly quickly. I think they'd be ok for casual wear, but won't meet my walking needs.

Today was the first time wearing shoes outside the house. The mesh fabric makes for a very lightweight shoe - I love it. I did not give a 5 Star rating because I've yet the try the shoes out on the walking track.
