The grey 7.5Dfit perfectly; however, I usually take an 8D, which I found far too roomy. (In the past, I wore this same shoe (v3) In size 8.).
After the grey 7.5D fitting, I ordered the same size in the blue. I’m returning that as it, also, is too roomy. It fits more like the Grey 8D did.
Seems to be a problem with size consistency. I’m going to order another blue 7.5D and hope it fits like the grey 7.5D. Great sneaker for
problem feet if you can get the fit right. BTW, the New Balance store never cam thru with any at all, so thank you, Zappos.

Had I paid attention to the Zappo's "recommended size" option when I ordered my first pair, I would have been all set. This pair, my second, is perfect in size and width. Designed for over-pronators like myself, the shoe does exactly as promised to help me adjust. I also wear orthotics, and they fit in and work nicely.

wear everyday for everything: strolling, walking, working out,... I love the wide toe box. I also tried the mens 860. It also has a nice wide toe box. I was unsure about that one at first because it has the raised high back with a piece of fabric in the back of the heel. However, I love it. It wasn't a problem last all. It's soft, stands out just enough that you don't even feel it and I love having a place to pull on that helps make putting the sneaker on soooo much easier. I wish my ladies 940's had that piece as well. I think all sneakers should have it. There is no squashing the back of the sneaker when you have that to hold onto. CUdos to whoever thought of that and cud's to executing it so well!

Great shoes! I have a high arch, making it very difficult to find a comfortable shoe. These are fantastic! Upon putting them on, I knew they were "a keeper." I've been wearing them every day for a week and will be ordering another pair today.

I love these shoes! So supportive and so comfortable, right out of the box! I was searching for shoes that were specifically for overpronation and these are the best I've found. I tried Nike and Asics also, but sent them both back. New Balance was the winner! Couldn't be happier.

I am really pleased. I googled "best narrow stability running shoes" and found these New Balance among the shoes listed. I've been in them all day and my feet feel great. I have really narrow feet and I find a lot of shoes too "floppy" in the front, even when they're the right size. I've been wearing Asics and Mizuno for years, but thought I'd try New Balance again. The shoes are very comfortable, but not too stiff, even though they're new.

I have worn New Balance 940 shoes for over 10 years. They give stability and I feel confident as a 70 year old to walk over 4-5 miles with no discomfort in knees or feet. Great product.

I have gotten the 940s before...super comfy with great ventilation in the top. I have bad problems with my feet these days but these shoes feel very good. I have not been able to run, but I prefer these runners over walking shoes any day. The shoes arrived quickly after ordering, too.

I was professionally fitted for my running shoes, I can buy any pair of stability running shoes and they will b perfect! I ran a 1/2 marathon in a brand new pair my daughter bought for me with out trying them on and was fabulous!!
