I enjoy dancing as in Zumba or other types of group dance online at home. These sneakers work best for me while giving me the support I need and allowing me to move in various directions effortlessly.

I tore my ACL completely on August 1, and had surgery on August 24. Since, I've been slowly working my way back. I've graduated from three P/T visits a week (thank God for a good job with health insurance. CONTINUE to vote D for Drive, not R for Reverse), to two, to now, one. On Black Friday, I took advantage of a 30% off sale to buy these. The best compliment I could give is that BOTH my Physical Therapist AND my surgeon "loved how they placed my foot" as an over-pronator with a natural turnout on the knee that had been repaired. One of the challenges of the recovery is that, from a child, my right food aimed at 1 to 2 on the clock when my left foot aimed at noon. So, not only am I having to work the pronation, but the turnout, too. The 940v4s have helped tremendously (I'm wearing them now). I'm hopping again, just 15 seconds for two sets, twice a week, but I was warned to do them in shoes, only. I'm nearly 50, and nearly 50 lbs overweight, and a non-runner. So I listen to EVERYTHING they say. If THEY like the shoes, then I do. Thanks, New Balance.

Walking...A Lot...about 5 miles a day. Good support.

I have worn the 940 or a version of it for 15 years. Always supportive and comfortable and helps prevent my foot from pronating! I do not even both to try on anything else. Why mess with perfection?

I pronate and use orthotics -- plus have a long (11) narrow (2A) foot so this shoe works great. Holds my foot firmly, takes the orthodic and keeps me moving. Please don't discontinue -- I need these shoes!

On my 4th attempt I finally got a pair that fits great. They are stylish and comfortable yet supportive.

I walk a lot, sometimes 12 miles a day, and my shoes wear out fast. These help support my feet and arches and make walking pleasurable.

These are my favorite shoes. I already had a pair but after a year of solid wear, I needed a replacement! These shoes are fantastic!

This is my second pair of these. They are very comfortable and roomy in the toe box. I have had many foot surgeries and New Balance is my go to brand!

I have these shoes in gray and decided to get the lighter color to wear when the weather is nice so they won't become dirty. I walk 5-7 miles a day and I love the comfort and support these shoes give me.

Great shoe straight out of the box !! No "break-in" Just put them on and roll on ....

I have a wide foot and bought these in an 8W. The toe box is plenty wide, wider than a usual wide width. The arch support is good. I am a 61 yr old active lady. I wear them for every day activities.

This will be my out and about shoe because I love the electric blue color that goes great with jeans & anything casual. I already had this model in gray for my 3X a week walks. 940 is the only shoe I've found that doesn't irritate the ball & little toe of my right foot. This model is a tiny bit roomier than the previous 940 model but is still a good fit.

These are the perfect shoe for my shape of foot. They have made a difference with my hip pain.

I wear these all day and my arches don't Hunter and my hammer toes aren't screaming. The mesh really lets my feet breath

About 15 years ago, my podiatrist told me to look into New Balance shoes because the heel and arch are raised a little, which is what my particular foot requires. I found a New Balance running shoe that is more boxy than pointed in the front, and comes in wide--which also match the peculiarities of my feet. I bought a pair and they are so comfortable, and have lots of space for my toes. When that pair wore out, I bought another of the same, then another in a different color, and so on--I've had three rounds of them so far. With the serial number I am able to find the same shoe, or very close to it, each subsequent time.
