i had to go up a half size, but I don't know if that's my foot plus orthotics or the shoe. I have never worn a bigger size in Fresh Foams before. Other than that, it is very comfortable and supportive.

Very supportive, fits well but rubs both feet on the inside of my instep. Unfortunately I will be returning them. Worn this style for years but this newest style fits a bit differently. Disappointed.

I was looking for a cushioned cardo shoe to help take the strain out of jumping jacks, etc. and I found it. This shoe is exactly what I want-- soft landing, great achilles tendon grip, good arch support and light. I am delighted.

I have flat feet, have had hammer toe & other toe surgery, and torn plantar plate repair, and am always looking for a comfortable shoe. I can honestly say that the New Balance Fresh Foam is one of the best shoes I've ever worn. The shoes are very supportive, offer a cushioned walk for the entire foot, and hug the heel nicely. There's good room in the toe box, too. In summation, these shoes are wonderful.

Had to order a 1/2 size larger for the first time with new balance. Well worth the exchange. Shoes feel like slippers.

After wearing New Balance for years, I bought another brand 4 months ago, which was a mistake and I stay with New Balance going forward. I will also recommend the product to friends and relatives.

The fit is spot on. The mesh upper provides give for my bunion and the fresh foam provides for comfort. I was able to wear them for a 14hr shift right out of the box and then wear them running the next day.

The fit and size were great!! Zappos is an excellent store online to purchase shoes. New Balance is the best fit for my feet.

I really like the styling of these shoes. But my normal size 7 felt short....my toes were almost at the edge of the toe box. I have high arches, and these shoes definitely support them — but may be too snug for some people’s taste. I returned for a half size larger and they feel much better at the toe. Still approaching ‘snug’ at the arch, but not uncomfortable. So I think the awareness of the arch will go away when I am walking or exercising with these.

I bought my first pair of the 1080 three years ago and have enjoyed how lightweight and well cushioned they were. This was my first intro to New Balance, since I usually wear Brooks Addictions for pronation issues but was unable then to find the right fit. Three years later, my 1080s are in need of replacement . Am happy to find that sizing for my 8D foot (narrow heel, wide toe area) has stayed consistent and did not find them narrower or lower in volume than they were 3 years ago. I like the newer "sock" type entry and the high-back on the heel cup. Like their predecessor, I got them in white/aluminum but prefer the old color combo (black on white), not liking the colors offered this season (hence the 3 stars on style). Wearing them around the house, they feel much like their old selves but with new cushioning! I hope New Balance continues to stay so consistent (unlike my old standby Brooks Addictions).

It is wonderful to have the narrow width in my size 11.5, even though the color selection was limited to black only. These shoes hug my feet and I feel well supported.

Love this pair. As I get older, mid 70s, it gets harder to find comfortable shoes.

They fit and feel great. I had heard they run a bit small so I ordered half size bigger. It’s perfect.

I had to order extra wide this time and have ordered just wide 3 times. Other reviews have said the shoes are being made more narrow and I agree.

These are very comfortable and do not need a break-in period. They are perfect right out of the box. I am 65 years old and have wide feet. The Fresh Foam is thick beneath my feet and give me a very cushioned step. I have them in three colors!

Very comfortable right out of the box! Ordered my true size. I’m a 61 year old woman, not a runner but do work out at a gym. These are great.

Bought these for my daughter who is a high school sprinter. She has a wide foot, flat arches, and was suffering from soreness and shin splints. I did some research, and these were recommended by runners with similar issues. They worked like magic! Highly recommend for anyone in the same boat.

This is my first time trying NB sneakers. Love these! They were immediately comfortable and fit my feet great! The Fresh Foam heal makes it feel like you are walking on pillows. Great support and super comfortable to walk in.

The fit is great . . .true to size and, good news, the narrow is narrow. They are very light and so cushiony. And, I look adorable in them!
