Loved these from the moment I put them on. Did my three mile walk, all my errands, cleaned the garage, went for evening walk and cooked dinner and they were so comfortable all day I hated to take them off. Really, first day. As an extra, they look great!

I’ve actually been looking for these NB shoes for months!!! I even contacted NB corporate directly to inquire about where I could purchase them. I personally hate all the color options for the NB 1080 v10 except the Jet stream/Glacier or the Steel/Magnetic Blue. The extremely thick sole is less noticeable in these 2 color patterns. If you are familiar w this running shoe - this new version will not disappoint! Very cushiony sole that is responsive to the ground. Also wide heel base so good for all activities not just running! I love them as I’ve loved all my previous pairs of NB 1080’s! Of note - I usually take a 9.5 regular width in the NB 1080 runners but in this new version I needed to order the 9.5 wide due to a wide elastic that attaches from the sole to each side of the tongue. In the regular width it felt like a tight compression sock in addition to my already arch compressed socks so I’d order a bit wider than normal in my opinion.

I ordered these in my regular size 9 regular width. They were too tight and too small. I exchanged for a size 9.5 wide. Much better fit! As usual, Zappos was great with the exchange!

I have plantar fasciitis and this neutral shoe supports my narrow foot properly. Cute style, breathable and lightweight.

I usually wear an 8.5 medium street shoe size, depending on the brand. I ordered these running shoes in a 9 Wide to make sure that I had enough length and room in the toe box (which I understand can be snug) with running socks on (I don't wear orthotics). I had ORIF surgery in the summer of 2019 and have struggled to find a neutral running shoe that I felt could provide the necessary arch support and enough firmness with cushioning to help me try and run again on pavement with a rod and 4 screws in my lower leg! My biggest challenges (other than lack of fitness now) are avoiding knee pain on my metal leg and "sliding" in the shoe and these do the trick for me. These shoes were super comfortable straight out of the box too and I love the "sock" style and the colors! Would definitely buy again in the future. Pricey but worth it!

The best athletic shoes since asics gel nimbus 18! (7 years ago!) I have tried everything! This is the one for anyone who has a narrow foot and needs great support and cushioning. Also THANK YOU new balance for continuing to make my size (women's 13 narrow). Asics stopped around the same time that their shoes became lesser quality.

Wide enough but too big in a 10.5. Even when i ordered a size smaller since they felt big as a size 10.5 down to a size 10 not wide enough. I gave up and sending both back. It's been a hassle to return items . Finding on your site where to get the info. on how to return items. Then having to print out the address form to return and tape up the box and tape up the form and driving out to the post office to drop them off. It would be nice to have a already marked return address on a return mailing envelope in the box in case we need to return it. Come on! Seriously?

These shoes walk themselves! My knees feel great and my arches are supported. The shoes are very lightweight and breathable. I am especially fond of the cushioning in the heel. There wasn’t much of a break-in period...no annoying rubbing or blisters. They are a bit on the expensive side but well worth the money.

These are the most comfortable running shoes I’ve ever found. I have narrow feet and just have to buy a narrow width to have the shoe be snug enough to around the instep and heal. The soles on these shoes are amazing.

This is my third pair of New Balance running/walking shoes from the 1080 series. I am normally a size 10, regular width, but I have always gotten these in 10 Wide to give my feed extra room. These fit exactly as I expected based on the last two sets of running shoes I have in the same size. These felt great right out of the box and didn't require any break in time. I had been experiencing some leg soreness from doing a lot of walking so I knew it was time to replace my old shoes. These are great after I started using them the soreness went away. My only concern is that I worry about how well the mesh-like fabric part of the shoe will hold up. The past two sets of shoes I've had from the 1080 line have lasted quite a while, but both were made with more traditional materials, I'm just not sure this fabric will have great longevity.

These are amazing! I loved my adidas ultra boost v19, but the v20s just didn’t have the same sock like feel, so I was looking for a comparable replacement. These NB are even better, with more cushion and great arch support. I will be buying more!

Comfort and fit perfect!

For years I have bought New Balance in size 7 1/2 AAs. In order to get a narrow enough heel, I got them in AA but extra long and they adjusted themselves. This time I bought two sizes to try, and I found the new 1080 7 1/2 AAs too long and narrow, while the 7Bs were perfect. When I hold them up against each other my old 1080s in size 7 1/2 were the same length as the current 1080 size 7, so something has definitely changed. But I love the new model-- you just may need to do a little experimenting with the sizing because the AAs are for an extremely narrow foot.

The fit is wonderful for my narrow feet. Very little slipping at the heel. I have ordered a second pair. I did have to go a full size up. I love the Fresh Foam styles for my problem feet.

I love these shoes. I am a big runner, both speed and distance training. These shoes are so soft, great on my feet and no issues with my knees. I like the way the heel and tongue are a little more form fitting. New Balance thank you so much for being one of the few companies that still make narrow options. I have such a hard time finding narrow shoes. I wish there were more narrow cute shoes in general, but they must not be a big seller. So far, this is probably the best narrow running shoe I have ever bought. Would recommend this product to anyone with any shoe width, it is a good product!

Fit was perfect for a running shoe. I went 1/2 size up and these were spot on. the NB 1080 is much improved. The Fresh Foam is super lightweight and cushiony. I bought and kept 2 pairs. NB has won me back after several years wearing Brooks running shoes.

I really love these shoes. I spent a lot of time researching what shoes to get for running, and these work great. Definitely recommend.

These are my favorite New Balance running shoes and I’ve been purchasing New Balance for years. They’re an improvement over the previous 1080 because they’re more stylish and designed to propel your foot forward as you walk or run. They have a roomy toe box which helps for those of us that have bunions. They also have a great deal of cushion and support.

This feels just as good as the 1080v9s from last year which I absolutely loved. I am sure I will get many great miles in these shoes.

Really comfortable sneaker but I found I needed a wider toe box due to a neuroma. Wish these worked because otherwise they were super comfortable.

These are truly awe4some shoes. Be warned--the picture looks like they are white, but in real life they are a light lavender. They are comfortable at the gym, for a day in my 6th grade classroom, they even took me to Disney and my feet did not complain!

I have some foot problems, and I find the shoes very comfortable when I take walks around the neighborhood. The only drawback I find is the shoes are not that easy to put on. A shoe horn would help. However, I decided that was a small price to pay for the comfortable shoes.

I love this shoe. It feels like I am walking on marshmallows! I had recently purchased the NB880 at a local shoe store because they didn't have the 1080 in my size. The 1080 is much more comfortable and supportive than the 880. The reason that I am only giving it 4 stars is because it has an unnaturally high flap at the heel that requires me to use a shoe horn to get them on without bunching up my socks and having to start over. I'm older (71) so maybe younger customers wouldn't have this issue, but I can't see the use for such a large heel flap. It just gets in the way. And using a shoe horn to put on sneakers is weird.

Great shoe. Super comfortable. It's light weight. Took a few times on to realize it's tight on the top part of my foot. I'd loosen the laces, but it's not able to do much because of the fabric. Starts to bother me after sometime. But not too bad. I'm just looking for the perfect walking shoe.
