This will be my fourth pair of the 1080. All my other pairs were size 8.5M. This version is smaller and narrower than previous versions. I am returning and ordered the 9W too see if it's a better fit. I think I might like this new sock design of the sneaker. I only use this shoe for running and underpronate and always found this shoe to be great.

I literally wore these 3 times and am well under 200lbs. Not sure why an ugly 160$ sneaker is ripping bilaterally. Don’t waste your time

I've worn a size 10 in New Balance for 15 or more years, but this 10 felt uncomfortably narrow and too tight (short) in the toe area. I ordered them because they were recommended for supination, but I did not perceive any additional support for the outside of my feet. They felt like my old 990 shoes when they lost support after 3-4 months. I returned the shoes and ordered a 10 1/2 in a different style of NB. Here's hoping.

These shoes are amazing. My chiropractor told me these are the best shoes on the market, so I went out on a limb and got some! I’m so glad I did! They’re beyond comfortable and give me great support! Worth the price!

I love running in these shoes, however, they run very narrow. When walking, they are tight across the top, but when running they feel great. I used to run in Hokas and Asics, but wanted to try foam. I'm so glad I did because these are amazing. Just know that if you have a wider foot, they will be tight.

I just ordered my third pair of 1080v10. I was hesitant before I ordered the first pair because the heel looked odd and uncomfortable—especially when compared to the 1080v7 and 1080v8 that I've worn in the past and liked. The new heel is so much better! It's very comfortable and doesn't slip. The upper has a lot of give, so my feet feel freer than in most tennis shoes. The only downside is that these shoes get dirty quickly. I wear them on sidewalks and paved streets in a desert city—it's a clean city, but naturally dusty—and they were dirty within a couple days. Not only do the uppers show a lot of dirt (which could be mitigated by purchasing a dark color), but the honeycomb effect in the side of the soles collects dust so they look like they are white with dark gray dots. I don't mind because I only wear them for exercise, but it would be irksome if I wanted to wear them for everyday use.

Yaaasss! The most comfortable running shoe I’ve ever purchased. I have extremely narrow feet with thin padding. The narrow width is perfect for me and the foam padding feels like walking/running on air. Think moon-walking. These remind me of the cushioning in the Hoka brand sneakers but those don’t come in narrow. Love, Love these sneaks! Would buy more if New Balance offered more colors in the narrow sizes.

These Fresh Foam 1080v10 shoes are such a gift in my world! I have knee issues and arthritis after a car accident 6 years ago and have only been able to walk about 1/4 - 1/2 mile before needing to turn around. I put these shoes on and first day out I walked 2.4 miles on rough terrain. l sat down and cried with gratitude. No kidding!! The extra cushion and rebound are fantastic. I never write reviews, but these shoes warrant a review if someone else out there needs what I needed. I wear a women's size 11 medium. The heel back on these shoes is perfect. Most shoes slip on my heels. These shoes do not slip. I also have sensitive achilles tendons and the heel backs are perfect for that. They are genius. Also keeps small rocks out. Normally, when I take my knees for a walk, I can't do much for the next couple of days. This time, I felt like going again the next day, but used my brain and waited a day. Then I went out and walked another 2 miles. I am going 2 miles every other day for now, but next week will be trying every day. Then I will extend the distance. It is such a blessing! I feel like I may just have my life back after years of mourning my loss of mobility! Thank you, New Balance, for giving me the cush I needed! I also own a pair of Fresh Roam Roavs and love them, but the 1080v10's have more cush and a more serious and supportive lacing system. I can go a lot farther in them! I highly recommend these shoes. The white foam sole will always look dirty, I'm afraid, but I can live with that because they work so well for me. I will be purchasing more than one pair for sure. I bought the black and navy ones with just a little white pizzazz to them on the side. i am happy with the color and design. I am hoping New Balance will make next a pair of Fresh Foam waterproof high tops for hiking or running on mountain trails where there is wet grass.

I usually wear 1/2 size larger in tennis shoes which is how these fit so I am calling them true to size. The New Banalce 1080 was the most recommended shoe for my plantar fasciitis. Right out of the box I took a 3 mile walk and they were great. The blue/purple color combo is beautiful.

Way too narrow! I wear a wide in other New Balance Fresh Foam shoes, but after reading the reviews I ordered this in Extra Wide. They were still so narrow that I couldn't wear them. Sad, because they were otherwise very nice looking and comfortable.

The 1080v10 is much tighter across the top of my foot than the 1080v9. A big disappointment! I wish I’d sent them back. You can see in the picture that the black shoe does not open up as far to the toe box as the light blue shoe. They’re ok in the morning, but by the end of the day they hurt my feet.

I love the fresh foam bottoms on New Balance Shoes. I do not love this latest version of the 1080. The top of the shoe is too tight no matter how much I loosen the laces. Earlier versions of the 1080 do not constrict my foot this way and it's possibly just not a good shoe for feet with high arches.

I've always loved and worn NB for 1/2 and full marathons. These shoes are not good, I am officially not a fan of fresh foam. After 3 miles the ball of my right foot was killing me and on my next run I started having IT band issues again. The toe box feels really tight and super tight across the top of my foot. I'm going to try Brooks instead, they have really great reviews. My absolute fav pair was the 860 V8 2016 Run Disney (yellow Minnie shoe) sounds dorky, but they were the BEST! Me and my pal still reminisce about them and how great they felt running in.

The cushion in this shoe is awesome BUT the stiching across the top is TOO tight. I wore it to Zumba and had to leave the class because of the pain across my instep. What happened to just a regular adjustable tongue? I tried loosening the strings down to the toe but that didn't help. That's when I realized it's stitched together. New Balance, just bring back the 1080 V7 and prior in different colors. That's when it was a great shoe with comfort and room in the toe box area. Why change a good thing?

First of all on a good day you need a shoehorn to get your foot into the shoe. Why they have that band so tight around the arch is beyond me. What purpose does it serve? I pity anyone with arthritis trying to put these shoes on. Because the band is so tight and difficult the sock tightens up around the toes because it pulls the sock backward. It feels like a great shoe but I don’t know if I want to struggle with it every day

I have loved the 1080s for years and have owned multiple pairs of the version 9s and 8s. I am strongly disappointed in the redesigned version 10s. The toebox is narrower, the top of the shoe is too tight, the redrawn heel now hits in the wrong place, and ball of my foot presses into the sole differently. I have nothing but pain when I wear them. The two short runs I took in them were terrible and I couldn't wait to take them off. I tried to break them in by walking and shopping in them, and I can't even stand them for slow, gentle walking. I'm really disappointed in these and I'm returning them.

Comfy but the tread is not good for treadmill walking. I do 2 miles every day and the tread is shredding. I have to vacuum every day after because it’s pieces everywhere! Shoes have never been outside just on the treadmill.

I love everything about it, but the heel part in the back. There's a huge pad that pushes on my achilles tendon and it's a complete deal breaker. If you can get over that, it's a great shoe.

This is my third pair of these shoes! I wear them around the house all day, as my feet and heels hurt if I just wear slippers (or any other shoe). These are so soft and comfortable. If my feet hurt and I put these on, my feet feel better instantly. I have a pair for outside and a pair for inside. I’m generally a size 8, but the size 8’s were too small. The 8.5 fits perfectly.

Felt wonderful right out of the box. Feels like walking on air, like I could go a long ways in these shoes in comfort. I wear size 6W usually but got these in a 6 1/2 W with room for socks. I have wide feet, not hugely wide, but wide, and I found the toe box to be ample.

I needed a comfortable shoe that was taller than my current pair of New Balance due to being in an orthopedic boot because of a foot fracture. These are perfect! I ordered a pair in my normal size, but found they were more narrow than the ones I currently owned. I just ordered the wide instead of going up a half size. That did the trick. Now I don’t have to hobble around quite so much. I can’t wait until I can wear both!

Snug to get on but feel wonderful once they’re on. They are cute and go with my scrubs!!

These are the most comfortable tennis shoes I’ve ever worn, also the most expensive but worth it. These are my second pair and won’t be my last. I walked all over Italy in my first pair. I read reviews and ordered a half size up, worked perfectly.

I had my foot fitted because I was having no luck on my own. I put these shoes on and immediately knew they were very comfortable. I was looking for something with lots of cushion and enough toe space for my foot. I got a wide and went up a size and they are great. I tested them morning with a walk and they passed. I expect to get lots of wear out of these shoes.
