I have worn New Balance for over forty years. I am a size 14 but a "B" width. NB is the only shoe that fits properly. Being 75 now I don't run like I used to but still wear NB. No better shoes.

These shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes that I have ever purchased. If they hold up well, I will for sure be purchasing another pair in the future!

It's an old standard with an ugly color scheme if you are a senior. but, it feels great, comfortable when covering distances and well made. this is my third 940v (hope they go back to old color scheme) and i am sure i will buy more. priced right

I have purchased/worn New Balance Shoes for years. They are the best shoe for my foot. I have bought everything from the 800 to 1100 series but the 940 is the best overall shoe I have worn. I feels great, fits perfectly, and lasts for many miles and months of wear. Just bought my third pair.

Love the shoeswhere do you find great looking shoes in size 17. Helps with my pronating.

New Balance is the only sneaker provider that will offer a narrow fitting. In US sizing I am an 11.5 B. As advertised they fit me very well. In past years only Allen-Edmonds would offer a variety and dress shoes and boots to fit. Thanks NB for a neat fit!

I use them for everyday use long walks and, and am never too far from my NB! The Absolute Best running shoes I've ever owned. They're comfortable and supportive and a necessity for my feet after having a post tib tendon repair.

Great shoes for dog walking. Light, cool, enough support for all that walking in streets and sidewalks and occasional footpath

I have worn the 940 for 5 years now - my favorite shoe ever!

This is one of the few runners that is available in narrow widths (as well as extremely wide widths that other people might need)--I wear a men's US size 10B, which is considered narrow for men. Unfortunately, it is only this stabilizing version available, not the cushiony, air-filled, road-friendly sort of running shoe that I would have preferred. There is not enough bounce and shock absorption, which my 50+ year old body needs. Knees have been hurting so had to stop running and have just been walking. Overall, disappointed that New Balance seem to have only this "stabilizing" running shoe in a men's narrow size.
