I like everything about this show. It has great styling and gives firm support. However there is one thing which I dislike and that is in regards to the sole where they have placed it seems a hard piece of plastic in the arch area. It does not affect the wearability however I'm afraid that it may possibly crack.

This is the third version of the 940 that I own. The previous version (v3) did not fit as well as the v2 so I was hesitant to purchase the v4. But since all my other NB shoes fit so well, I decided to go with the v4. Let me say that the v4 has revived my faith in NB shoes. They fit like a glove and are equally comfortable on both feet (unlike the v3) and it feels like I'm running on air.

The toe seal which is at the tip of the shoe (toe side) was bent inward making a sharp plastic like object jab into my big toe, fixed it myself with some shoe glue and now the shoes work great.

Love these shoes I bought for my son, he has extra wide feet so it's a pain trying to find shoes for a 15 yo that don't look like he should be pushing a walker with tennis balls on it.

NB keeps "improving" their shoes. This is the last model that doesn't cause me discomfort. If you are looking for stability, this shoe has it. But like most NB shoes that have been around for a while, the colors are deplorable. No, butt ugly.

Fit and size was good. I have a pencil foot and was desperate to find a shoe with a B width. I wore these shoes for two days, but my feet hurt for a week afterwards. I feel the need to wear based on the amount I paid for them, Really scared to put them back on.

I've been buying this model for about 6 years. They last a long time. I usually get at least 1,000 miles out of them and then they become my lawn cutting shoes for another year. Money well spent
