Don't do much running but workout on a stair-stepper and other walking. Very comfortable fit. I really like the heal closure shape.

I use these shoes to walk in as well as casual wear. NB are the best tennis shoes for me.

I bought a pair on line last Spring. They were not Wide width. They pinched the top of my feet. So I was a little Leary about ordering again without trying them on. This time I got the wide width and they are perfect. I can wear them for hours, no problem. Great cushioning.

Currently running 5-8 miles 5-6 times per week. These shoes are as comfortable at the end as the first step. I have never run in New Balance before, but I had to switch from another brand, researched this one, and I could not be more satisfied.

This shoe has given me a solid foundation and a lift when needed! I highly recommend it for the older runners/walkers/fitness enthusiast!

These shoes are really comfortable and true to fit. The foam cushion is awesome, like walking on air. They have a padded back heal.

I love these. This is my second pair. I wish the sole was fully hard rubber as they seem to wear quickly but i have bad knees and the cushioning is the best I've found

I put 3 miles every other day on these shoes. They provide terrific bounce and support. I've been wearing 1080s for as long as I can remember. I just buy a new pair when the old pair wears out. They make little changes and I like this version a lot, particularly the back which is very comfortable.

1080 is a great road sneaker and my third purchase. I run one marathon per year and multiple half marathons when time permits; I usually get 250-300 miles in these 1080s. I wear the extra-wide versions and one size bigger than if I used them to walk around. The wear pattern is the same for each model I have worn; there is no warning when it is time to replace them; my body gives me the signal of pain. I have used them in trail races; roots will be a problem slipping; I do like the ventilation after you step into a puddle on the trail :-). I should mention I immediately replace the insoles with my prescription orthotics; I would recommend these sneakers.

600 miles in - Great shoe. I think the only downside was that I like my shoes somewhat loose and the upper had an elastic fit which initially felt too tight but either it got better or I stopped caring as much. The sole also wore as expected.

I completed nyc virtual marathon 2020 in them(plus the training). I have the vaporfly 4% and the adidas adizero pro. The nike and adidas are much lighter and i wish my feet could take the punishment for long runs(obvious reasons), but they just don't. I get burning sensations after like 12 miles and it just takes so much concentration to keep running. The 1080s take all that baggage off my brain. Oh, and i got the Wides (no such thing from nike/adidas...)

I have tried may shoes while training for 14 marathons over the last 5 years. These are my new "go to" lone run shoe. Great fell, fits well and I can accelerate with no problems. Light weight is hard to find in a high cushioned shoe.

So far so good. I am still in the break in period and they fit pretty well. The toe box seems to be a little narrow compared to the 1080v9. I ordered the wide as I did in the previous 2 versions but these seem a bit tighter than previous versions.

I have run in NB shoes for 25 years and this Fresh Foam shoe ranks high on the list. In fact, I ordered a second pair after about eight months of twice weekly outdoor runs during the pandemic. I have not had any knee, foot or shine pain while running in this shoe. Great fit and great technology.

These shoes are great - very comfortable while being snug. Good for exercise or just knocking about. Will buy more.

Cushioning is great. New Balance is the only brand that makes running shoes in narrow widths that fit me. My only complaint is that very few styles and cool color combinations are available in narrow widths which I find frustrating.
