These are my everyday walk around shoe. I have recurrent pain near the base of my little toe and this shoe provides support and comfort.

The wide toe box and ample cushioning make this my go-to long distance shoe. Very comfortable.

These are the most comfortable walking/running shoes I have ever owned! I've always worn New Balance but, as I'm aging; I've found that I need a shoe with more cushioning than your standard sneakers. These Fresh Foam shoes fit the bill perfectly! It took about a day of wear for the memory foam to adapt to my feet but, since then; these are the only shoes I've worn! Thanks New Balance for developing another great shoe,

My husband shattered his calcaneus (heel) several years back and with age and loss of collagen and the wonders of youth - finding a shoe that was comfortable let along able to walk for hours in was getting impossible. His orthopaedic doctor suggested he find the comfiest cushy shoe he could find. This was probably the 7th or 8th shoe we have tried and he loves it. He is able to be on his feet over 9 hours without pain or reaching for a pain reliever.

Got these shoes for myself just after December 25th and i have just short of 100 miles on them (98, if you needed to know). I have a pretty high arch and New Balance shoes have always fit me well. My longest run on them was 30km// 18.64 miles and they held up great. 2 hours and 32 minutes (8:10 per mile) and there were not uncomfortable at all. I have a feeling they wouldn't take me all the way to 50 miles but I rarely run that far on roads anyways. They'd definitely be good through 50km (31 miles) and that's what I plan on using them for. What else is their to say? The fit works really well for me, the design features as great (attention to detail with these is on point). Like others have commented, they feel fast. I've put a 2 mile time trial at 5:54 (per mile) pace and they worked just as well for that as they did for that as they did for my 30k

Great overall shoe. The things likes about the v8 has returned. I get shin splints when I run. The fresh foam pillow absorbs the impact so I dont get it with these 1080's

I juust switched from the Brooks Glycerine 18 to the 1080v10 and I love them. While both shoes are very comfortable and highly cushioned, the fresh foam feels faster and the rocker shape of the shoes urges you forward in a way the Brooks does not. I was concerned about the heel set up before I got them -- not anymore, it works very well. If I have one minor complaint it is that the outsole could be just a tad wider in the front. Running straight forward there is no problem but if I turn a corner sharply, I can feel the edge of the shoe. But this is a very minor thing. This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever run in.

First got a pair of 1080s about 2 years ago-this purchase replaced those shoes and they are even more comfortable!

My husband bought the light gray pair and felt so great in them that I bought him a second pair in black for Christmas. Because his feet had started to hurt, he wears the newer pair in the house for support.

Aside from being a hair to short, They were very comfortable and the arches were perfect for my flat feet. Waiting for the newly ordered larger size. Expect they will be great.
