Used to run in 880 v7 which were good shoes. Wasn't sure what to expect from Fresh Foam. On my first 10k run, the shoes felt great to run in. I seemed to have more energy in my stride. I've had the shoes for only two weeks, but so far, so good!

Very comfortable. Rocker sole, highly cushioned sole, and wide forefoot area ensures long-distance walking comfort.

I started using 1080's with the v8 and owned three pairs before the v9 took over. That one didn't work for me - hated the heel cup issues. The v10 fixes that and much, much more! Amazing cushioning - I'm a big guy who tends to break down the soles, but these have held up extremely well for months. I still that bouncy feel when wearing them which I love! And the new knit top has been a breakthrough for me as well - I never feel like I need to tighten up the laces or adjust in the middle of a workout. Will happily buy another pair in the near future for half marathons in the Spring. Only concern is that the exposed foam on the soles is starting to wear well before the rubber, but I'm hoping it won't make an impact on the ride. Great job and Thank You NB!

I was looking for an everyday training shoe that could handle long runs. I found it in this shoe. It has plenty of cushion, lightweight, doesn't pinch anywhere. and the upper is very breathable. I find the shoe very comfortable I would highly recommend it as an everyday runner.

I am always looking for the best cushioned running shoe. I was using Hoka's for about the last 4 pair. Thought I would try these (Fresh Foam 1080V10) and they are the best so far...

I think these are The Best running shoes of 2019 & still #1 now in 2020, I haven't come along anything better & this is coming from a Brooks ghost fan boy. Try them, I bet you'll love them.

After 10 versions, they finally got it right. I have tried four previous versions (always in hope of finding my next great distance shoe) and threw them all away. They were big, bulky, clunky, heavy, and something always found a way to rub my feet raw. The new shoe is completely opposite. It fit snug but not tight. Doesn’t rub anywhere. I can run relatively fast in them. They look clunky but they are not. I’ve been running for around 10 years and am always looking for my next great shoe. This may be it. Only miles will tell.

My husband is the stereotypical New Balance customer -- the big guy who runs. He loves these. They're cushioned enough for a 250lb weightlifter to run on sidewalks, they're wide enough for 4E feet, and he says they "feel like socks."

6'1, 225 lb here for reference. I've only owned these for a few weeks. Overall they are great. The last pair I owned are the 1080v8, so it's a little strange getting used to the difference in the heel area compared to the traditional one in the 1080v8 & 1080v9, but it's comfortable. When shopping I compared the sole of the 1080v9 and 1080v10 and thought the v10 was a little narrower, which was a plus for me because I thought the v9 and older models were a little too wide. I definitely recommend checking them out.

Had 'em less than a week. Had to play with lacing a tad but they're ever-so-comfy. I prefer wider forefoot brands/models but these were fine. Of course comfort is easy in the store these days - so many comfy running shoes. I've done only about 20 miles now but today's run prompted this review: 7 hilly miles felt so smooth (my regular distance is 5), such a nice ride and road feel and a straight-up improvement from my previous in-rotation shoes - Brooks Glycerin 15 and Asics Nimbus 20. The 1080 is a good deal lighter. And then the last half mile: I felt fresh enough to power down, sprinting (fast enough for this 61 y.o) I felt the energy return from getting onto my forefeet more. I guess this is the x foam stuff. I love heem, Mr. Fawlty, I love heem!

Great walking shoe. Possibly a bit too spongy for my personal taste when I am on the elliptical.

Seem true to size. Purchased for my 13 y/o son who's always had big, wide feet. He's been wearing New Balance shoes since he was a toddler. It is one of the few brands that make a wider shoe. He's always happy with the looks and comfort. This pair seemed a bit pricey, but proper fitting shoes are a must. Free shipping and returns are a bonus and much appreciated.

The NB 1080v10 is a fantastic shoe! Been a New balance fan for 30 years and wanted a very cushioned shoe for walking, as I'm now in my 70s and a bit arthritic. After a week of use, the verdict? Perfect!

I've been using the 880s for all of my runs (including. marathons) in the last few years, however I'm thinking of using these for my longer distance (i.e. greater than 13 miles or so) and upcoming marathons. Very comfortable and good fit.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn! It slips on like a sock and is very light. I have more energy and stamina with them as well. And of course, speed.
