My husband loves them, he runs his 3 miles and his foot is not hurt, the color is very vibrant, it is worth the price.

Im only 30 miles in but these neutral cushioned trainers are amazingly comfortable and responsive out of the box. They are light, fit well, and toe box is ample for someone who does not like their toes to be boxed in. Heel fit is excellent. My only concern now is how many miles i can get in them. Well done NB!

I run 10-20 miles and walk 40 miles a week in these. Probably not the most economical use of high end running shoes, but a necessity for my refractory plantar fasciitis. I study shoes extensively, and as a health care provider on my feet most of the day, I am grateful for these. #drkenfitness

I run between 35-50 miles weekly, and have found 1080v10 to be as close to perfection as any shoe out there. Soft and smooth underfoot with a sock-like upper that hugs my foot in all the right places. This is actually already my third pair (since November) with each of the first two pairs holding up great through ~500 miles. Also -- for what it's worth -- the heel seemed odd at first -- but hugs my rearfoot in all of the right places, and I've never had issues with slippage at all. Great job, NB!

I am a big fan of these shoes! I currently rotate between these, Brooks ghost 12, Nike zoom fly 3, and Nike Pegasus turbo 2. I of course have better times with my nike, but comfort wise and weight, I would choose these as the best overall shoe. Very pleased with purchase!

Your foot slips into a perfect glove of a shoe. The strings are just ok to get the right tightening for running over trails

Different in hand. The main color red is darker then the pictures, the lighter red on the toe box is brighter (almost Nike bright crimson) then the picture. But I love running shoes (that I use for running) to be loud.
I'd also recommend:
Nike, Saucony, some Hoka's

I am a bit more of a weight lifter than a runner at certain times. I am training for another marathon and am a solid 215. These shoes have been my go to when transitioning from lifting to running. They have held up well ( I had last versions 7 &8) I purchased the 10s after seeing the new developments and can say I am just as happy. Have about 200 miles on them right now. I can't speak for lighter folk, but down to 209lbs and they still feel great. I put a half-marathon on them last weekend. Knees were sore for 30 minutes after that's it- pretty standard recovery.

Switched over from ASICS Gel Nimbus about 5 years ago and have been impressed with each new version of the 1080. I absolutely love the cushion it provides without being bulky and the new heel cup is comfortable and provides for a perfect snug fit.

I use this Fresh Foam 1080v10 mainly for walking. The cushioning is wonderful and the wide box of the shoe is perfect for my feet.

I have run about 100 miles in my current pair, both outdoor and on a treadmill, and I couldn't be happier. The cushioning provides great support yet is very responsive and does not feel at all squishy. I have a wide foot and the 2E size provides a an exceptionally comfortable glove-like fit. As a late 50s runner with a neutral gait, these shoes feel perfect for me and are the best running shoes I have ever owned. I like the so much I have just purchased a second pair.

This is the best shoes in terms of balance. Soft sole but not too spongy. Top is well expand and fit to my foot yet still holds my toe with confidence. Sole is flexible. Light weight. Easy to put my feet in. I am going to buy these again but I hope it last long since I run a lot. Lastly, I really appreciate 2E (wide) width.

New Balance brought back some new, bright colors! What I especially love is how the hell is higher (the flap) so that breaking in the shoes doesn't cause the typical blisters,

I have been wearing NB Running shoes exclusively for at least 20 Years. The last pair ai really loved were the 1080v5. I have worn them to a thread. I tried some 990's in between the 1080v5 from 5 years ago and the new 1080v10 is better than the V5. I didn't think I would ever be able to replace my v5. Anyway, this show conforms to my feet exactly and is like running on air. For me they are perfect.

I enjoy the extra big toe box, how they run,and feel. However some of the styles have looked better than others, but they have always been comfortable and fit great.

I bought these for an easy day show. I wanted something that was more forgiving on easy days and they feel great. They are light and still have a ton of cushion. I wouldn't call on them for race day, speed work, or other hard efforts. Just more shoe than I prefer on those days but for a recovery day they are perfect.

This shoe is a max cushion shoe that doesn't feel like one. You feel the cushioning every step that you take but that does not equate to this shoe feeling heavy or like you can't run fast in them. I have done everything from my long slow runs to all-out tempo miles in them. They may not be the best for the track but if you are running on the road these are phenomenal shoes.

I wear men's running sneakers in 12.5 2E, and that size severely limits my choices when shopping for new footwear. For various reasons, I have stayed away from NB for several years now, even though they are famous for offering a variety of widths. I've been wearing Brooks Ghosts for a few generations and have been happy with them, but I just wanted to try something new, and a bit lighter. After reading a few online reviews, it sounded like the 1080v10 were like the Ghosts, but with "fun" mixed in. I decided to give them a shot, and after 75 miles in this pair, I'm ready to purchase another to have at the ready. They've been great! Nice and cushioned (especially on the downhill) and responsive. I finish long runs with no aches or pains, and I've seen my times ticking up (not by a little, but by 20-30 seconds per mile; on Strava I've recorded new PRs in the mile, 2 mile, 5k, and 10k while wearing them). I still have worries that the foam compresses a little after 9-10 miles, but overall, I'm really happy with them, and I've already recommended the 1080v10 to several other runners.

They fit perfectly and he lives them. We walk several miles a day in the California desert and they're holding up well.

The only downside of these shoes is that everything else I wear makes me want to go back and put these pillows back on.

I generally run about 25-30 miles a week. Usually run in Brooks Launch and Nike Pegasus 36 Trail. These provide much better support and cushioning for longer runs. Would recommend!
