I use theses boots as work boots. They're so light and comfortable. They could use a little more padding in them.

Great fit and cushioning. So far keeps my feet dry during a.m. walks in wet grass. Will see how they hold up in Midwest fall and winter season.

I use this shoe for hiking, of course, but I also use it for street running. At 73, I felt I needed extra support on the ankle, and the mid-size was perfect. It's maybe a half pound heavier than your usual running shoe, but after a few days, I stopped even noticing.

The shoe was a perfect fit. This shoe is so comfortable walking between 10 to 14 miles a day delivering mail for the USPS. Best money every spent on shoes.

The eyelets at the top of the shoes are a wee bit aggravating when lacing up the shoes, but other than that... They are HOKA'S.. Comfortable! On third set as first set of wide weren't wide

I'm using them as work boots and so far these are incredibly comfortable. Laces seem a bit flimsy and the lace up eyelet could stand for a redesign, but overall very happy with these boots

It gives my foot and ankles the support I need. I have Osteoarthritis of the feet and these shoes are the only ones I can wear comfortably. I wish I had stock in the company.

I have very wide feet and my shoes always take a long time to break in even when I purchase "wide" shoes. I took these on a 6 mile hike the first time every wearing them on the Appalachian Trail and they were extremely comfortable! No pain at all, incredible sole cushion!

First off I have never reviewed a thing in my life. Not a review guy, but something about this shoe compelled me to write this. I cannot recommend this shoe enough. Easily the most comfortable hiking/trail running shoe i have ever owned. I had pain in my knees for years before owning these shoes, only to have it disappear when using these! Not to mention i bought them brand new for a trip to Montana and had no blisters or pain at all from the first wear. Even the waterproofing is 100% true, i fell in a lake and my feet stayed dry! The shoe was tested on all surfaces (mud, dirt, pavement, and snow) and performed excellent for all. Would absolutely recommend and will be buying again when mine cannot go any further. With sizing i would order a half size smaller. I'm usually a 11 or 10.5 men's and purchased the 10.5 having room to spare. Still worked great however. Another thing to note is that the shoe is very wide looking with a massive sole that adds about 2 inches of height. Lots of cushioning in these bad boys.

I have been getting these for my husband (or at least whatever the latest version of them are) for about three years now. He wears them constantly. Waterproof, comfy, and durable.

Everyday use when not working . Wish I would have got a 1/2 size bigger as they are a little hard to get on but once they are on they feel great

I have plantar fasciitis issues, so almost exclusively wear Bondis. While not quite as kind to my feet as the Bondis, the Challenger Mid Gore-Tex comes close, and is water proof plus provides a bit of ankle support. My one recommendation is that when purchasing, move up a half a size.

You put these on and immediately know that the shoe is going to be comfortable and helpful with plantar fasciitis.

Gore-Tex all black hiking shoes are great for work. I deliver packages all day so need something with ankle support but not sacrificing comfort. I added extra insoles, still feels like I'm wearing very light running shoes.

I bought these mainly for hiking. I love hiking but haven't been able to do much in the past two years due to hip and knee replacement, as well as joint pain. I am very happy to say because of these shoes, new knee and new hip that I am back hiking again. The cushioning in these shoes are amazing. The part of hiking that used to bother the most was the decent back down. Not anymore with these shoes. There is minimal joint pain. I find myself wearing these shoes all the time. I just don't want to take them off. They are that comfortable. I will be buying a pair of sneakers as well in the very near future. Thanks HOKA for such a great product.

would change the lacing.... the lace clips are too tight. the eyelets are too tight! other than that they are the best softest boot made.

I am very picky about my feet, as I am self employed and on my feet ALL Day. I walk approximately 15,000 steps a day and am 51 years old. Shoes that have a huge amount of comfort, all da long, translate to no back pain, knee pain, foot fatigue, etc. I have been buying hoka for about 7 years, and previous to that bought brooks beast. Boots were always a problem because of the lack of wides (EE). I buy the best, most proven socks to add to my foot comfort. these shoes, are light and were immediate, out of the box, comfortable. While not quite as plush as the Bondi 6 I so love, they still give you the heel impact cusion and seem to translate very well through the step. I am so excited about the fit, I am buying a second pair, just to wear casually! WORTH EVERY PENNEY!

Overall, this boot was a good purchase although what I didn't catch was this was a EE size and wear standard width size. I had filtered out for size (8) and this was the last one in stock, so I purchased it without paying attention that it was a wide boot. It still fits but a little loose but overall comfort is great but I wouldn't go running in these but walking and hiking works fine.
