Im a school resource officer and I walk 20k+ steps a day on concrete floors, and I have to direct traffic. Gore tex has worked great and kept my feet dry but still able to breath, shoes have helped with the plantar fasciitis but not very good for those with arthritis in the ankles. I would suggest the shoes for those with no ankle issues and a normal to narrow foot. Wide size fits like a normal size, still has a narrow toe box.

Very durable and comfortable. A little stiff when new but once broken in they are great.

HOKA sneakers are head and shoulders over NIKE, ADIDAS, BROOKS and others. The construction is superb. The fit is great. The cushioning is outstanding.

This shoe delivers on its promise and is comfortable but color is boring and not up to par with tbe many color choices of the other Hoka offerings. Why don't you make those available in wide?? We wide foot people like up to date color patterns too!!

Great tread, very good material! A bit stiff so will take some breaking in.

Supper comfortable as Hokas always are. Only Complaint is the tong is a little thick and the top lace holes don't have the two position option like most of their other shoes have.

While we don't get much snow in my area, we do get plenty of cold weather and rain. As a long-time Hoka fan, I was stoked to see that the company had added Gore-tex to some of its line. Would like to see the Hoka design team punch-up the colors in this model. Even something as basic as a color pop in the laces and midsole. Eager to see how the outsole traction holds up on slippery surfaces.

I may have gotten a size too large. My feet do slide in the shoe. Other than that I am enjoying the shoes. I plan to try another pair in a smaller size to see if that would improve my experience.

Always great when you can find goretex shoes to wear. These are great from a waterproof and comfort standpoint. Will definitely be buying again. They do slightly rub on edges of heal, but I believe this is due to me not being used to these type of insoles and support.

This product is excellent. It fits as advertised. It's incredibly comfortable. The construction is high-quality. The only problem is that the colors are boring, although that's a problem with every shoe manufacturer since I never found a company making Gore-Tex sneakers who made any other than black or gray.

Like every Hoka shoe I've owned, this one I comfortable right out of the box and extremely well cushioned. I purchased the all-black one and have two very minor gripes: 1.) the shoe in all black is pretty bland looking - I'm reminded of something Herman Munster would wear (if you're old enough to know that I mean); and 2.) the laces are so sticky that it takes some pulling to loosen the shoe to put it on. Other than that, these are great hikers.

I wear these to work daily. I am on my feet 8 plus hours a day. I wish the laces stayed tied though. They have a coating on them that makes them come undone

Good shoe, wonderful that it's goretex and waterproof and I absolutely love the simple colorway. However, the sole is terrible, I've had two pairs and it is one of the least durable soles I've had on a pair of shoes. It doesn't have good grip either. It's not terrible, but for a 'hiking' shoe, this performs terribly in the mud. It will keep your feed dry, but you will be sliding around in the mud and this shoe will only last about 6 months before the sole falls off. Please add a durable and grippy vibram sole to the next version of these.

It's good shoes . I have wide foot and I've had a hard time finding the shoes that fit perfect.so,glad that hoka makes option for wide width. Downside ,the only color hoka had was tan color shoes which is l don't really like. I want to buy the black color one but, unfortunately hoka only made for regular width.

3rd pair of Hokas. The shoes are great. While I have started wearing them and will keep them, they are too narrow. I have the Bondi 4EXW and they are fine. These are a bit too snug. People who have wide feet also like to hike. I hate being pushed into Dunham or the like. Are there enough of us to add to your offerings?

Item was not as wide as expected for fit was tight. Also too may lace holes when you pull the laces they didn't tighten up. Support was nice. They did help with most of my feet pain.

I purchased these for those wet days when my Bondi's get soggy and cold. The way they were described led me to believe they would be basically waterproof versions of the comfortable running shoes. In fact, they have a lot of differences other than the uppers, which are indeed waterproof. The first thing I noticed was they felt narrower than my others shoes even though I ordered the same wide width. It may be because the upper is stiffer and could put more pressure on the side of your foot. The second thing I noted was the innersole was about half as thick as my Bondi's and the entire foot bed seemed less forgiving and firm. Lastly, the sole material seem to be stiffer which probably adds to the less cushioned feel. The bottom line for me is they are not really comfortable for running but will probably be acceptable for periodic casual wear. Possibly after some more use they will wear in but, for now, I prefer my wet feet running.

I wish that this shoe was available in extra wide. It was just a little too narrow for my foot which is why I gave it only 3 stars. If it was a wider I wouldn't have had to return it. What was excellent however was the way Hoka promptly received the return and credited the purchase price on my credit card. I will purchase another shoe which had to be backordered in extra wide.
