I love how durable and lightweight they are! I even wear them when not hiking because they're so comfortable.

Love how light and comfortable these boots are and provide great ankle support.

These shoes are wonderful. I have put them to heavy use over the last two weeks, and they were excellent.

Good for the climbing the rocky mountains.

Do a lot of hiking in the White Mountains of Arizona in rocky terrain crossing streams. Feet stay dry and the boots stick like Velcro to the rocks. Very comfortable. I am really happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone. Wish I had them in the military. You won't be disappointed.

I got these for running 30+ mile mountain trail days. Okay, I'm old (45) and my ultra marathon days are long gone. I find myself running at full speed only when the trails are smooth and sometimes I slow to a regular walk when the trails are rocky. I need something with a little more ankle support and protection when I go for the huge mountain adventures. These are exactly what I need. I also wore them backpacking and they were awesome. The Gore-tex in these shoes works like magic, making these perfect for dewy trails. When I run shorter runs, where I am moving faster, I go with the Stinson ATR running shoe. The area of the shoe that I notice the most when comparing Stinson shoe with the Speedgoat mid-top is in the heel. The Stinson seems to be more built up and have more protection there, which makes a difference when pounding on rocky trails. With that said, I still had no problem with pounding many, many miles of rocky trails in the Speedgoat mid-top. It is an awesome shoe.

this might be my 7th Hoka purchase. First time getting a boot..... Took them out of the Box and hit the trail for 7 miles without issues. Looking forward to getting some hiking in with them also.

Right out of the box they fit perfectly and after a strong hike I have no blisters. I wear Asics Gel Kayano running shoes and these have a very similar feel. Very cushy. I purchased size 11. I am a 10.5 and I wore thin running socks. They fit fine however I don't think I could wear thick hiking socks.

Lightweight, comfortable and great looking. Great for folks that are on their feet for hours. I recommend this shoe to everyone!

great shoe for winter running and hiking, bought them for hiking and ended up running on wet snowy trails all winter

I live in the NW with a lot of moisture and rainy fall/winter/spring seasons...Keeps my feet dry and great for the terrain...Do a lot of walking on the beach with my dog and great for the wet sand and surf...

I have been using theses for trail running. I tie laces off at top of foot so ankle not restricted and use gaiters to keep snow from getting in from top of shoe. Very good traction so rarely need ice spikes. They are great for keeping my feet dry and warmer than my regular trail running shoes (Hoka Evo Mafate). We have had lots of snow here and several days in low single digits. Speed Goats have great cushion as well. I am extremely happy with these shoes and they have kept my feet comfortable in all conditions.

I'm a Facilities Manager so I'm always on my feet working indoors and out. These shoes are extremely comfortable and very pleasant on my feet. At 6'3 and 285lbs they are holding up very well! I will purchase the red and black one's very soon! God bless!

This is a great shoe, true to size, light weight , and very well made absolutely love this shoe.

I'm using these for work boots because I've had problems with my feet.

Everything is good but I have wide foot

Have been wearing almost every different Hoka hikers for the past 5yrs. This is by far the most comfortable and secured feeling model to date. I wear sz 11 in the Sky Kaha and all other Hoka hikers, had to get these 11.5. Fit is more of a mid basketball shoe with great cushion and a super gripping outsole (even on slick tiles). Finally! shoes offered in a color that I can get away with wearing @work (firearms range). They feel like something you'll wear if your life depended on it. That is why I bought a second pair to get them blacked out to wear as duty shoes.

Love the stability, looks and feel of the shoe.
