I have previously purchased the Clifton in wide and was extremely happy with comfort and quality. I decided to change it up this time and went with the Arahi 4's instead. They are very comfortable and stable. Unfortunately the wide is just not wide enough and my toes are cramped inside. I will be exchanging for something else.

I ordered these in wide but the toe box is still too narrow. Not as wide as previous Hoka shoes I have purchased in the past.

I love the feel and fit of my Hoka One purchases. My only criticism is the lack of color choices once I select a wider size in my purchase. I like other models but the color choices narrow greatly once I asked for the wider size.

Looked great, and were comfortable, but for running, I found them lacking in support and post run was painful. I tried them a few times over the course of varying runs, and they were just not what I needed.

Love the cushion, love the bounce, so I really wish these could have worked out, but the width was a deal-breaker. These run narrow.

Bought this first pair of Hokas because my wife was very pleased with hers (different model, more expensive). I'm price-conscious, so bought this Arahi 4 model as it was less expensive than the other Hokas I looked at. My presumption is that you must pay much more for a Hoka with arch support and some "cush' with your heel hitting pavement. This model does not have either. I expected much more comfort for a walking shoe, and found these felt just like any other (less expensive) shoe....nothing special. I returned them. I may try a more expensive model, to see if this brand really is a great walking shoe at its higher price point models. Maybe. I'm so unimpressed by this $110 Hoka that I don't know if I want to pay more to a company that would charge so much for a so-so shoe.

For me, these feel more stiff than I thought they would be - of course, they are for stabilizing runs, but they fit a tad bigger and are bit stiffer than I imagined. If you're needing a softer run, the Cliftons might serve you better.

Better with added insoles, glad U bought them at reduced price. New Balance seem to work better. I walk at least 5+ miles daily.

Tried them for 5-10 mile runs but had to stop wearing them. Loved the support and cushioning - hips and knees felt great. Oddly the toe bed is tight and low, and I was getting blisters on tops of my smaller toes.

I previously owned the Arahi 3 (2E). If you have a wide foot, you may want to pass on the Arahi 4 The arahi 4 is comparable to the 3 in the toe box, but it narrows slightly below the forefoot through the midfoot . Overall, I still think it's a good shoe, but unfortunately, I sent them back because of the fit. Perhaps in future models they will decide to increase the width through the midfoot

I just don’t have hoka feet. Shoe has great heel support, especially for my bone spurs and plantar fasciitis unfortunately the rest of the shoe didn’t feel as supportive. Not for me.

The shoe is fine. For my personal preference, it is too shallow, and too snug from top to bottom, despite being a size too big (to allow for swelling).

I've had 3 Arahi 2's, 3 Arahin3's and now with 2 Arahi 4's they redesigned the shoe where the outside of foot, at it's widest-the Taylor's bunion, rubs and makes sore at that spot. It always seems to be the fate of shoe designers to ruin the very design that made their shoes popular. As quickly as their soles wear out the width remains unfortunately steadfast. The color combos remain atrocious, endured only because of prior comfort.

I always size up to 14 for running shoes, so find there. Width is narrow, which is good for me, so fine there. Stability shoe, so good there. Other than that..... I don't get it. It's a clunky shoe. It's not fast, it's not that smooth running. The size 14 is just too much shoe. It's a tight snug fit, which is fine, except the loops in the back are not strong enough to pull getting in the shoe. Already broke one off. So you have to lace it everytime which for me is annoying and no other shoe I have does that. And I have a LOT of running shoes. Not only am I unimpressed as more muscular long distance runner, barely BQ speed, but I'm disappointed based on all the Hoka hype. For comfort stability as a faster big guy, I'd go with the Asics Kayano Lite, Nike Structure, or Asics GT2000. The Brooks Adrenaline is popular too but I didn't get that hype either and returned them. But in the end it's all about what shoe is for you. Just think this is too much shoe for a big guy and not smooth, responsive, or cushiony.
I'd also recommend:
Asics, Saucony, Nike

Had to size down a half size. Good looking shoes but not as much support as the Arahi 2 unfortunately.

I don't even have 50 miles on these shoes and the tread is almost completely gone. For the money, I expect these to last longer than 50-75 miles of normal road wear.

I have the Arahi 2 and thought these would be similar. They are more responsive( a good thing) and don't have the stability() of the Arahi 2. They also run wider and don't have the heel support. I normally wear the same size in the wide. These are too wide. I will try in a standard width next time.

This is my second time in arahi's. They run great but the heel tab to slide the shoe onto my feet broke on the second use. Unreal.

Arahi 4 does not have the toe Box width as the 3 and hence fit is too tight .. disappointed

It's taking a lot of runs to break these in. I'm only up to four miles before I can feel blisters starting to form.

I found the sneakers to be much more narrow than expected. This is the reason I sent them back. I had tried on Hoka's at my local running store, and did not have an issue.

The Arahi 4 is a comfortable running shoe. The heel to toe movement is smooth and the density of the midsole is excellent and quite an improvement on others like the Elevon, even better than the Clifton for my foot. Problem is the insole does not offset the relatively flat foot profile as it hits the bottom of the foot. I corrected this by adding an insole that has a bit more support while adding extra bounce off the relatively flat and hard impact inner sole. Still, for my foot this shoe is not nearly as comfortable or as versatile as the Bondi and does not have the stability of the Graviota. But, with the right insole added its a great shoe for running.
