I would have loved this shoe if the toe box was different. I usually run in Altras or TopoAthletic -- both of those have great, wide toe boxes. This shoe does not. The back of the foot and ankle was great, but my 3rd, 4th, and pinky toe were right up against the side of the shoe.
I typically wear a regular width shoe. Going to wide in this one would have made the rest of the shoe sloppy.

I use this shoe at work. Being on my feet all day and taking many steps per shift I find that the Arahi 4 helps me not notice my foot aches that have bothered me throughout my adult life. I really like the shoe but I have noticed that if I were to days in a row it doesn't do the same job so I use it every other day.

I used it for walking and running. I liked it for it's intended purpose (pronation) but I really need is a more cushion option for my heel pain. I have ordered a Bondi to see if it can provide enough cushion for my heel pain.

I purchased this product for my husband who has extra wide flat feet. He stands all day long working In an ER at the hospital and we do a tremendous amount of outdoor activities (walking, running, hiking, etc.). He loves the shoe - fit and comfort we would give it a 5 / 5. But the heel material wore out after 5 months and now we are trying to repair with moleskin/heel protector, etc. so it doesn't dig into his heels. I would love to purchase another pair, but at the price, buying a new pair every 5 months seems a bit out of line. So, we will make due with what we have by trying to repair the heel.

I am trying to get back into running after a long period of planter / toe issues. The Arahi is one shoe that works. I've tried maybe 5+ other brands that don't work (cause pain), including new versions of brands that I had previously used. The Arahi 4 is a little different from my original Arahi with less arch, but it is still very comfortable albeit a tic small (10.5). Next size larger was considerably too big.

Thought they would be better. Wearing for work in ICU. Standing a lot on concrete and the impact over 30 yrs has been rough on the feet. Need footwear to withstand the compression.

I decided to give the Hoka, Arahi 4 a try.
Excellent cushion, thru out the entire foot, feels like the shoe is holding your foot. With that said, the top material, is way to loose, I wear a 14, the top of my foot is not a tangent arch, it's actually like everyones only longer. Shoe could use more cushion around the ankle, maybe more of a stretching type of material across the top..

Basically I use them for casual dress. They look good with shorts or Levi's. They are not as soft sole wise as the thicker Bondi series.

I've been running with Hoka One One Arahi shoes since the first version and I loved the 1 and 2 versions. The third version I had trouble with from the start and this latest version isn't bad but I find the I'm getting calluses on the bottom/inside of one foot and just behind the ball of my other foot. I don't know if these aren't quite as wide as the others were or if it's something else. I do have a hard time finding shoes that are wide enough but I didn't have this trouble with the earlier versions.

This is my 5 Arahi but first pair of the 4’s. These shoes felt very similar to the Arahi 3 in terms of road feel and stability but the knit upper was a bit more forgiving and breathable. A solid shoe for road miles.
I unfortunately had to return mine because the tongue fell off/came unstitched after one short run. I will be reordering.

I love the shoe there is just one problem. I keep getting blisters at the bottom of my foot whenever I wear them and they're painful and annoying but overall the comfort is amazing I just wish I can stop getting blisters whenever I wear them.

I started with a pair of Arahi 3s which I loved, and am now moving into a new pair of Arahi 4s. The performance is excellent, even slightly improved, and still offers great stability in a light weight shoe! I have a few nits, however: (1) I wish the rear reflective strip on the 3s was still there. Don't know why that would be removed. (2) The tongue got bigger at the top, feels like extra fabric for no reason (was fine on the 3s), (3) The laces are now ridiculously looooong, much too long. IMO, they were just fine on the 3s, though _maybe_ a little short depending on your lacing pattern, but it feels like Hoka over-compensated on the 4s.

The softest stability shoes out there, as I know it, they feel soft and very comfortably. 860's and Adrenaline's are hard after running in the Arahi 4. I am 6'0" and 190 lbs, need a stability shoe as I pronate. After 125 miles in these, I have worn through the sole into the soft foam, and will totally demolish them if I run again on them. Very disappointed that there is not a very hard skin on the sole that will take some miles. I can't justify only getting 125 miles out of a pair of shoes. Unfortunately, I have to go to a competitive brand, the Arahi 5 has the exact same skin on the sole

They're really thin and light.
I can feel all the seams in the shoes and it's not hugely supportive for me.

Most comfortable shoes I own. I have worn them for less than a month and the treads are already wearing and a few are gone. I run, ruck, or walk less than 5 miles a day.
