I love Hokas. I own 6 pair. I wish I would have returned this one in the 30 day window. They are not good at keep out the water. My feet got drenched on a watery hike. That was their sole purpose in my collection. If they can't do that well, i would not like to own them. Now i spent the money to buy them and I still need to buy a waterproof hiking shoe or have wet feet!

I wish I had returned them immediately, I thought they might relax or stretch just a bit if I wore them. They have not. I have a bunion on one foot, the other foot the shoe fits perfectly, but the tongue and lacing girdle lay right over the nerve of the bunion foot. The pressure is making the shoes unbearable to wear. Sadly.

These are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn in my life!

The tongue of the sneaker is very uncomfortable. No padding in tongue. Shoe feels small and narrower. All my other Hoka sneakers are so comfortable. Thinking about returning them.

I was really excited to purchase Gortex speed goat! However , reviewers indicated they had a little wide toe box! But, for me they were to narrow! I was dis appointed and retuned them! I had tried on Speedgoat 4 with the higher top in the store! And wanted lower top! So, since I knew the higher tops Speed Goat4 Gortex fit me I purchased those on-line! I have them now! I'm not sure I like them , they are hard to put on and take off! They are a bit heavy... I wear tights while hiking, and water or debris theme to slip into the tops! So, LOL! I don't really like them either! Also! I must add that in the wet terrain water falls on the toes and it feels cold! Alas,... My feet are dry but cold.. I don't recommend the high top Speed goats either! I'm a Hoka shoe person and I am very disappointed in the, "low top", and "high top" Gortex Speedgoat ! I wore them so I have to keep the high tops but I don't recommend them for hiking .. or walking I spent to much time thinking about and worrying how uncomfortable these shoes are! Water of course falls on them

I returned this shoe because the tongue is not soft material. It's pokey and painful. I loved the shoe itself but this is a bad design call on Hoka. I have 6 pairs of Hokas that I love but this was a deal breaker. Really bummed. Loved the color and the fit. Settled for another Gortex shoe from Hoka that doesn't fit as well as this one did.
