I have bought several pairs of Mizuno Inspire and hoped the Waveknit variety would be the same. However, I found the toe box was not as roomy as previous shoes. I had to return the shoes.

I had worn the older version of Wave Inspire in the past and finally tried the 16’s! These are amazing! I have flat feet and usually get pain in my arches but the 16’s worked like magic! Just the right amount of cushion with a great bounce. This material is also beautiful that it gives my feet that hug without the discomfort. Would definitely purchase again!

I run nearly everyday and only have ever worn Mizino shoes. These are taking a while to break in- the left foot rubs a lot on the top near my big toe. I've tried different things but nothing is working. I had a waveknit pair as my last shoe but these are harder and less flexible than my previous.
I love inspire shoes and I think this is my 6th pair. I will buy another but maybe not waveknit.

I have bought Mizuno shoes for years, and the same size has always worked for me. However, I recently bought this shoe, and they apparently run small - at least by 1/2 or a full size. The comfort and fit were otherwise decent, but too tight on my toes. If you are planning to purchase this style, I would recommend getting a larger shoe than normal.

Love this shoe! The wavenit is so light but still provides good support. I have very over pronated feet and found this was a great motion control option

I need a stability shoe and the Wave Inspire has been my go-to for years now and they continue to rock! This is the first Knit introduction for the Inspire and I couldn’t wait to try. I love the style of the knits and the fit didn’t disappoint. They are more snug (sock like) in the toe box then the regular engineered mesh. This took some getting used to but I really liked it after getting some runs in. Overall the knit upper feels secure and adaptive.

I love the shoe but due to the matierial it's made of, it is narrow in the toes and my normal size 10 is too small and causes my toes to tingle as if I'm losing feeling in my toes. Mizuno will not take a return on the shoes so that I can get the next size up. Size up if you get this show.

Was having lots of ankle pain with my prior shoes but as soon as I got the Mizuno shoes, the support completely relieved my ankle pain and running became much easier.

These offer better support than their profile let's onthey're super low-profile but keep me from pronating. My knees feel great! The fit is a little snug at first but they mold to your feet quickly. The lip that sits on your heel is slightly lower than I'm used to, but this doesn't affect comfort or performance. I love this shoe!

Per usual I ordered a 1/2 size up. ( I am only a 9 in Mizunos.) Normally 8.5 in Saucony and Brooks . I ordered these in both 8.5 and 9 and the 9s work but Im holding off doing anything until my other Saucony and OCs arrive. These are not bad support wise. They are good enough to keep in the ranks. Stable comfy and basic colors. Nothing crazy. I have narrow flat feet and these are nice because you can tighten pretty well to avoid heel slip.

This is the first time trying the Inspire 16 Waveknit. I previously had the Rider Wavekint 3. I am a half-marathoner walk/runner. The Inspire 16 Waveknit seems to be more narrow in the toes. My toes go numb when running. I do have arch supports in the shoe that I will remove and try without them. I looked into returning the shoes but there are no Rider Waveknits in my size.

I have been a Mizuno Wave Inspire wearer for about 15 years - almost as long as the shoe has existed. This time around I decided to try the shoe in the WAVEKNIT material because I liked the color. However, this shoe wears significantly differently from the regular fabric. The WAVEKNIT shoe caused both my feet to fall asleep during my first run. I powered through anyway, and keep trying them to see if they would break in a bit. After several runs, it only got worse, and ultimately put so much pressure on a modest bunion I have on my right foot, that I felt like I was going to develop a stress fracture or something! The description says it "hugs" your foot, and turns out that is a really good description. It doesn't have nearly the give or room the regular fabric has. I sent the WAVEKNIT option back (thank you Zappos!) and got the "regular" Wave Inspire 16 and had no issues. The new "regular" shoes feel great and I'm getting extra speed on my long runs. No issues with the pressure on the top of my foot. Would not recommend if you are not used to this fabric type or have bunions in particular.

I love the Wave Inspire by Mizuno. I’ve been wearing them for 8 years. They are comfortable and come in fun colors. Great for walking.

I have flat feet so a bug arch is painful for me. These are perfect. No pressure on my arch but my foot is supported.

All Mizuno run at least a half size smaller than comparable brands (Brooks, Hoka, Ascics). But they are by far my preferred running shoes. They fit and support well and are comfortable with a wider toe box.

I usually wear a 10 in running shoes, but Zappos' algorithm recommended I buy a size 10.5 Zappos was correct: 10.5 fits perfectly!
Cushiony & stable running shoe. Would recommend for the moderate arch support.

I attend Burn Boot Camp 6 days a week and have plantar fasciitis that flares at times. These shoes are light weight and super comfortable!

LOVE!!! I have been wearing the mesh (non-knit) Mizuno Wave Inspire for 10 years. Wasn’t sure how I would like the knit... SO COMFORTABLE!!!
I have narrow, flat feet and powerwalk 5-10 k a day. I also purchased the mesh Wave Inspire 16 which are horribly painful... the knit ones ARE COMFORTABLE!!!
My only cons is that my feet get a little hot in them (my feet tend to get hot) and I would like a more funky, urban colorful style.
Ordering a 2nd pair!

Though they're just one ounce lighter than Brooks' Ghost 13s, they actually FEEL lighter. There's a new Spring in my step. I love these shoes. And they're handsome, too.

Lots of ankle support and cushioning, which is great for my flat feet. As others have mentioned the toe box is a little on the small side. I only went up half a size because my feet are narrow but I could have done a full size up.

Got these the other day and love them. Glad I read the reviews, since I ordered a half size larger than my usual Mizuno Inspire. The knit def runs a bit smaller.

Material is wonderfully stretchy. Which is good. Because I bought a size too small for running. Nbd. My hubs bought me the right size of the same shoe. I wear one to workout in and one to run in. Love the color too.

I have been purchasing mizuno for a couple months now. Switched over from ASICS. The inspire 16
Is good for a narrower foot. It also provides nice arch support. My feet are slightly flat. I purchase a half size bigger than I normally wear and they feel great.
