Generally, I need to buy 2A shoes, and I purchased these based on reviews that these regular shoes were narrower in width. They fit very well. I either need to buy a 8.5 or 9 in running shoes. I ordered both, and the size 9 was too big in the heel. Overall, after two weeks, I'm happy with these shoes. Some reviewers said that the knit material tore over time. I hope they hold up long term.

I have been a size 10 in Mizunos for years but these run very small. I recommend ordering at least half size up!

I really wanted to love these. I have worn Mizunos for the past five years now. I am not sure what was wrong, but these caused pain in my inner heel, just on the left side. Returning. ?

I am a longtime Mizune Wave Inspire user. I took the advice to go 1/2 size up and agree it's absolutely the right call. Very happy with the shoe I took it out for a run today and it's very comfortable.

I love the fact that when I run/jog my feet don't hurt. However, I used the sizing chart according to other brands and I should have gotten a 9.5 (my normal size) versus the 9 that your website suggested. After wearing them for too long, my toes start to get scrunched up and hurt.

I have worn Mizuno Inspires to run in for many years. I tried the Waveknit version this year - I like these colors better than the original version. These were too snug in the toe box and too short. I am returning and ordering a half size larger. The stability is still there - I am hoping the new pair work!!

Love Mizunos. Have been wearing them for maybe 20 years, which is why I ordered them on line during the pandemic, but if I had been to the store, l would have tried for a better fit. They are definitely tight. Do not order on line!

Shoes are great but the sizes seem to have changed. First time I ordered online and didn't have the opportunity to try the shoes on. They are tight but wearable. Nice shoes. Love Mizuno's. I've been wearing them for 20 years.

Nice product. Use for running / training. I really like the color, the product is light, but has a lot of heel support which is desperately needed on my part.
There are two issues with the product: 1) the toe box is TIGHT. Initially I couldn't run more than a mile without losing feeling in my toes in both feet. But the last run the shoes seem to be stretching out further so I was able to get a solid 3miles in w/o having to stop and massage my feet.
The other issue is I run with Bombas socks and they are more low cut than other running socks I've used in the past (Asics) and the corner of the tongue of the shoe cuts into the top of my foot on both sides. Hopefully with more use that will cease to be an issue. So, recommend using low cut socks that are higher up than Bombas.

Distance runner and this is my second pair. I switched over from Nikes and am hooked on the comfort of this shoe. It was an extra bonus that I LOVE the pink color as well

I love the color and the style. My only complaint is that they're 1/2 a size too small. I don't know if they run small or if my feet have grown, but it's a bit of a disappointment on my runs.

I have been running in a women's 9.5 Mizuno Wave Inspire for 8 years and have never had any issues with fit or size. The Inspire waveknit seems to fit a little smaller than other wave inspire models that I've worn - a little snug/short in the toe. The waveknit doesn't seem to be anything special, so if you're on the fence about which style of the wave inspire 16 to get, I would say it probably doesn't matter because the waveknit is pretty unimpressive. I will be keeping these shoes because I need new running shoes and I like the shoe over all, but it's not my favorite model of the Wave Inspire.

the size 9/5 was too short and flat in the box and the size 10 was too wide and was missing the insole on one of the shoes; they have obviously been sent to someone else who either took out the insole or it was never put in during manufacture.

I loved the color of the shoe. I did have to order a 1/2 size up. I normally wear a 10 but those felt a little snug so I ordered a 10.5. They felt a little roomy but would probably okay since your foot expands when running. I think I will be returning though. The shoe felt very squishy for a stability shoe. It’s comfortable around the house but I just don’t think it will give me the support I need when running.

I loved the color. I really want these shoes, BUT what is wrong with Mizuno that their shoes are always so narrow. I always wear the shoe around the house for a day and this shoe was so tight, that I began having nerve pain from my foot being squashed too much. I saw that other reviewers are all saying the same. I took their suggestion & placed a 2nd order for half a size larger. That has helped but still way too narrow. Gorgeous shoes, hate how it fits.

Really bummed about these. Always loved Mizunos. These were just too tight in the toes. And I have skinny feet. Sent them back. Trying a different style. They are super cute though!

I love this shoe. Love the way it looks. Love the wide soles. But the instant I slid my foot into the right shoe, it felt too tight over my big toe joint and made it hurt. Left one didn't do that. And I don't have the issue with any other athletic shoes.

I've been using this same model of running shoe for 10 years, so I was pretty confident about my shoe size. Unfortunately, I needed to o return because they were a full size too small.

The consensus seems to be that this shoe is sized small and one needs to order 1/2 size up. I did so, and the shoe fit well - until I wore it and the knit stretched out. Now my feet are sliding all over in the shoes no matter how tight I tie the shoe strings. I got these shoes for the ankle support, but it does no good when my heel doesn't stay where it belongs. Very frustrated. I've had Mizuno Wave Inspires for years. And, of course it's past the 30-day return policy for running shoes, so I'm stuck with them.

This shoe has plenty of cushion, but it is much more narrow than all of the previous wave inspire shoes I bought. I got the same size as I have for the past 8 years and this one was too small. My toes went numb just walking around the house. Very disappointed and I had to pay $11 to return them. Will not be buying mizunos anymore

I am a size 5.5 wide and when I buy sneakers 6 usually works. I also wear custom orthotics and I read this was a really good running shoe for overpronators. I was planning on using my 3/4 length orthotics in this shoe and ordered a 6 but it was too tight especially after putting in my orthotic. I returned it and ordered a 6.5 and it was still too tight in the toe where the laces end and I had to return them too. Really bummed because it's a really cute shoe.

This shoe is not as comfortable as my first pair which were the Waveknit R2. Still a great shoe but I will not buy this one again.

The soul doesn't have as much cushion or give as the previous Waves. There's very little spring. It's doesn't feel the same. While I'll probably continue to buy Mizuno's these just didn't hit the spot for me.

I would not buy these again. They were not as comfortable as other shoes I have had. I wanted more cushion amd could really feel the road in the toe box. They looked great though!
