love these shoes! sometimes they make you socks slip down but you just have to keep pulling up or get longer socks

I absolutely loved the vibrant blue of these shoes. They are relatively lightweight (but not the lightest shoes around, such as Brooks). They were 'okay' for cross training/HIIT workouts (i.e., going from cardio to floor weights), but did not support my foot type and gait well enough. Unfortunately, they are somewhat stiff which was hard on my joints (esp knees) during my workouts. I think the stiffness also made my heel to toe transitions on the tread clunky and my step heavier compared to when I run with my Brooks.

The length of shoe was great; the width was to wide in the heal and toe area for my narrow foot. I needed more support in this shoe.

I am a young and I n shape woman. I got these before on sale, about 6 months ago, wore 3-4 times a week- and they’re no good. Very underwhelming, pretty much a dinky tennis sneaker. There are way better options. I wore these for running errands, light jogging on pavement, and walking - my feet and knees just didn't like these mizunos. Opt for a thicker sole Mizunos, higher price tag but well worth it if you want comfort and support. These are now my “dirty shoes” for gardening and like activities.

After trying these shoes years ago and having to return them, I decided to give them a 2nd Chance. I was wrong. Unfortunately despite purchasing a wide size the decorative plastic on the outside still digs into my feet. The footbed fit just fine (even with my orthotic insoles), but I wore these very briefly to the gym hoping to break them in. Literally not even one back workout in and I started feeling the plastic piece digging into my foot. I ended up taking off the new shoes and finishing the rest of my weight routine in socks. I have wide feet with bunions. These shoes would probably work alright for average feet.

I buy my sneakers a size larger than my foot (for various reasons). These at a size larger felt smaller than shows that are my actual size. Beautiful shows though.

I want to love these shoes. The first week when I was breaking these in they gave me a blister on my toe die to the internal plastic in the toe box. At this point after breaking them in, I haven't had the issue again. The shoes also have a thick tongue and short laces. I've been tying the laces loosely due to pain in the top of my feet (I think from the thick tongue?). I'm hoping this will go away after they've been broken in more, but I've been wearing them almost daily for about 3 weeks now. I've had many mizunos before that did not give me these issues. Hoping they make some improvements on the next model.

I love the Wave Inspire 15, comfortable and supportive. The 16 is redesigned so the very front is simultaneously harder and smaller on the inside while missing a toe guard on the outside! It was much shorter and uncomfortable plus more prone to rip in front! Bad redesign, I returned and found new 15 elsewhere.

I always buy a half size larger in running shoes to have more space for my toes. With these I had to go up a full size. The toe box is definitely narrower than last year's version.

Toe box too small. I don't understand why manufacturers fail to realize that some of us like a wider toe box. Finding running shoes these past few years is a full time job. Really liked the neutral colors of this shoe.

I have happily worn 6 pair of Inspire Waves and sadly had to return these. The toe box is shorter on this year's shoe. They feel a half size smaller than the old ones.

After reading the reviews on the Wave Inspire 16, I was skeptical to purchase, but really needed new shoes. I have been wearing the wave inspire for around 10 years and I have to agree with the masses, they are very cheaply made. The support, which is why i have been wearing them for so long for my overpronation, is terrible. I went a 1/2 size bigger because most review said they ran small/narrow. I don't think I would have needed to do that. But overall, Mizuno definitely needs to up their game and go back to the awesome shoes they used to make!

I love the wave inspire design. This is my third pair I have purchased. The problem with this wave inspire 16 pair that I recently purchased is the padding cuts off right at the toe box. It is like they ran out of material or forgot to put the padding in the toe box. This becomes irritating and uncomfortable at mile two. I didn't notice when I first put them on but once I got to running I almost threw them off to run bear footed.

I have run in Mizuno's for a few years and always get the Wave Inspires. This most recent Wave Inspire 16, unfortunately did not last me nearly as long as other ones have in the past. I still think they're awesome shoes and will continue to get them, just a little disappointed compared to the past

I love everything about the shoe except for the fact that I've only been wearing them for a month and a half and the inside fabric lining on both heels is ripped up and looks like I've had them for a few years. Before purchasing this shoe I had been wearing a super outdated a pair of Wave Inspire 9 (?) for 5+ years and the heels on those were not even torn up as badly as these.

At for this style shoe for many many years always loved it this is the very first time I've ever bought these shoes and I bought two pair but my feet hurt having a hard time breaking them in not satisfied with them at all and normally they're my most favorite shoe to I Work in the hospital as a hospital health care I'm on my feet all day. And I normally love the support from the shoe i've never had a problem breaking in your shoes before but now are used to it has been Missouri.

I ordered the wide width, but it was still too narrow for my feet (which are both naturally wide and have a high instep).

I've been wearing these shoes for years and this new model is causing terrible pain in one of my toes on my right foot. I don't know if it's the shoe or a change in my foot. :( I've had 10 amazing years with Mizuno!

I had knee surgery in November so I've been keeping things relatively low impact and jogging in a straight line. Treadmill, bike, walks, elliptical. I think these are different than my previous Inspires. I ordered the 8 (like my last two) but these feel tighter, narrower. And not as much cushion when I'm on the balls of my feet. If possible, they also feel heavier. I was hoping to start clocking some mileage now that I got the ok from my ortho but unless these break in better and soon (and I've already put 30 or so miles on in less than 2 weeks), I'm not sure these will be the shoes I turn to. Disappointing considering the price tag. I do love the blue color but for running, comfort is necessary not just the aesthetics.

The shoe is really nice but the (wide) isn't really wide. It is still a very slim fit. May be sending them back. Still love my Mizuno's though :). I will always buy Mizuno. Next time from the store.

I use these for Jogging/walking. Have always used 6.5 size but these ones were a little tighter. Hoping they will stretch out a bit. Ordered the Blue ones but I received the Grey ones instead.

I really like how the shoes fit. However there is not enough cushioning for the impact and the price. I run 20 miles a week and I am tall.
