Somethings not right with this shoe. I previously was running in an older pair of these shoes. Needed to get new and this is what they had. The symbol on the side is to far up and pushes down on the top of your foot. Not comfortable. I love Mizuno but this shoe doesn't work for me

Terrible shoe! I hate when a good model gets changed so much. I've been running in wave inspires for a long time and I've never had a problem shifting between shoes until the 16. I can't return them since I've worn them, and only 10 miles! I've never had pain running, these shoes did it quickly! Heel cup, heel collar, lacing, tongue, toe box....all have changed! I had to change brands!

the look is great! However, I cannot run more than two miles without the bottom of my foot aching. Maybe I have the wrong fit, but this has never happened to me before and did not happen with version 15.

My favorite running shoes of all time are Wave Inspires. Both the 12s and 13s saw me through hundreds of injury free miles. My feet never hurt, even when training for and running my first 13.1 race. I was so disappointed with the 16 - both the traditional and the mesh uppers. Fit was off all the way around. Toe box too narrow, suppoet too firm. Sadly had to switch shoes (to Brooks Adrenalines - good but still don't love like my old Wave Inspires).

I have worn Wave Inspire Mizunos for at least 10 years. They have been so comfortable, just the best for my feet. But this year's version, # 16, is actually painful to wear. I have just sent them back, having tried them out briefly at home. They make my instep and the top of my feet ache painfully. After trying them on, I would take them off with relief, and go back to my older Wave Inspire shoes, with no pain whatsoever. I hope in future you will revert back to your previous models!

Made my instep and top of my foot ache painfully, after a minimal amount of time trying on in my house. I have worn Wave Inspire running shoes for at least 10 years. This is the first time I have ever had this problem. I sent them back.

I ordered the recommended size, which was a full size too small, and the company refused to pay for return postage. Will never order from this company again.

I do daily walk/runs. I have gotten Mizunos before but for some reason I don't feel the stability and support like I feel I should. I might go with another brand.

The worst wave inspire I have ever worn!!!! Definitely not worth the money or the pain!!!

I have had these shoes since the end of April. I use them for running. I noticed that i have been getting a blister in the same spot that will not go away, i looked in the shoe to notice there is a small circular tear in the fabric in the back of the heal which is what is causing the irritation. Every time the blister heals, it comes back again with a vengeance. The fabric on the other shoe where my toe hits is also already wearing through the top. I had another pair of mizunos prior to this and I am not sure if I just got a dud pair, but the quality was way better before.

Size runs small and coloring is different than shown online. Company is very difficult to return with.

Proceed with caution when ordering anything from Mizuno. This shoe despite being calls grey and white is non of those colors. It is PURPLE. You won't be happy and then you'll be suck trying to figure out the non intuitive return web site and then it's on you to pay to ship the shoes back. Customer service is rude and they don't call you back. Probably because Mizuno has it outsourced so the workers don't care about the brand. I recommend if you have worn Mizunos for years like me, support your local running store and won't waste your time on this site.

I asked the mizuno representatives about sizing because I was worried about the size and fit. He was very confident the 8 would fit me great. I received the 8 and it was way too small. I had to then call for a refund in which it cost me $15 to return.....ugh

If I could give less than one star I would. I ordered a size 8 shoe; there was no way on earth that the shoe was a size 8. If anything it was a 6.5.

I have been running in Wave Inspires for 7 or 8 years. I loved the 14s so much that i have four pairs of them, all of which are well worn. i just keep finding the 14s on sale and so i would buy them. This year i thought i would splurge and buy the current version. Unfortunately i have to return them. The toe box is more shallow/narrow than the previous inspire versions and my toes hit the top of the shoe. The upper material also feels like they are of cheaper construction and not as well made as the 14s. Kinda disappointed, especially since i have to pay to ship them back myself. Hopefully i can find some 14s some where!

Way too narrow despite this being listed as a wide shoe.

I've worn the wave Inspire for close to 10 years maybe more. I wear 8.5 wide for the last 3 years and love them, but this pair runs small! Ive always been 8.5 but got a blister on the pinky toe, they feel narrow and low profile So I ordered size 9 which is a little big but what choice do I have? I don't want to wear anything else but I'm very disappointed in this pair! please mizuno fix this problem please ! I'm a loyal mizuno customer for over 25 years. I buy one pair every 2 months but on this pair I will not buy another until new model comes out.

I ordered these running shoes through the Mizuno website because I have the exact pair already (just an older version) I needed a new pair, and love the pair I already had. I got them and they seemed a bit bigger and thought I would give them a try anyway........only ran 3 miles and they were killing me. When I emailed Mizuno they basically told me because I wore them ONCE there was nothing g they could do for me.......thats terrible service! I will never purchase another pair of Mizuno shoes again. Reconsider purchasing anything from an organization that does not have some sort of "satisfaction guarantee".

I loved the 15 and ordered the 16 assuming not much had changed. Unfortunately ended up with major pain in both feet.

I had to return these shoes because the quality was not as good as it used to be. I tried them on and after running for 10 minutes my knees started to hurt. Very disappointed...
