I replaced my Brooks with the same style but they are so different than my old pair. They are harder to get on, the heel area is not as thick as my old ones.

I'm not a runner, but I prefer running shoes for the support. I had Ravenna 10 which are so comfortable with the wide toe area; however, the Ravenna 11 is narrow and I miss the the wide toe. Otherwise, they are comfortable.

I like to rotate the ravennas in for shorter runs, and use transcends for longer runs. These are good for speed runs. I find these ravennas to be a bit firm and stiff, and it caused my shin to hurt randomly. Hopefully once I wear them in more, it won't be an issue!

The soles are comfy but they ate the back of my ankles up the first time I wore them. Awful blisters unfortunately.

I have been wearing Brooks Ravenna for years, starting with the 4's. I was so happy to have found them. I have bought each new release and of course there are pros and cons about each new release but I have been satisfied with my purchases....for the most part. That being said, I am sad to say that I am really disappointed in this pair of 11's because they started to wear SO prematurely. Yes, I have worn them for a couple months but my other Ravennas (that I have retired after much more use than these) still look pristine besides some normal wear on the bottom of the shoe. None of them have any wear like this. I would really love to give these shoes 5 stars because it really is comfortable and works for me but I am just so disappointed that I will probably have to replace these much sooner than I have my other shoes.

This shoe fit my foot well, but it wasn't cushioned enough in the ball of my foot. Overall, I liked the fit and feel, but unfortunately it wasn't the best shoe for me.

I used to love the Ravennas, but this new version has extremely minimal cushion and ended up triggering plantar fasciitis in my feet within two weeks of starting to run in these. If you wore earlier Ravenna series, know that they changed something in this latest iteration. I'd really only wear these if you're running under 3 miles at a time.

Generally love Ravenna's, but this new update lacks ankle support

I am a 61 year old walker. Not as soft and comfy as my other Brooks but felt I probably needed more foot support. Time will tell!

I've been wearing Ravenna's for years and this new version was nothing like previous versions. They have always been immediately comfortable when I put them on, but not this time. The tongue was smaller and did not fall under the top shoe lace holes so the top of the shoe rubbed into the front of the ankle. The tongue also would not stay in place and slid to the side no matter how I tied it. I found myself tying and untying several times to trying to get it adjusted so it would stay in place. There is also less padding in the back of the heal and ankle which allowed the heel to slip, although I did not notice it as much running versus walking. The back of the shoe also comes up higher into the back of the ankle eventually making it uncomfortable. I have smaller ankles so this is deal breaker. The toe box is smaller but still seemed sufficiently roomy. I also very much liked the side rails and the cushioning, and they were snug. Unfortunately, I will be returning them due to the smaller tongue, and issues with the back of the shoe. Not sure if I will try a different model. I'm disappointed these no longer work for me.

I have worn Ravenna's for years but this version doesn't seem to work for my foot. I wear orthotics and the fit just isn't right for the first time with this style. I spend the first ten minutes of each run starting and stopping to try to tie the shoelaces just right so that I don't get blisters on my heels. I knew I was taking a risk by ordering these based on other reviews but was hopeful it wouldn't apply to me.

So far, ok. I'm breaking them in and have a blister on the back of my left heel, but otherwise they are fine.

Loved the shoe at first, but the materials are not good quality and the shoe began to break down in various places after only 2+ months.

OK. Better than the size 10, as a half size bigger than my average size 9.5, as they are too big. I just going to have to realize if you say the shoe runs small than I need to feed a different style. Since I really needed a new pair of shoes, I'm hoping this pair will be okay for the next few months.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks for tennis shoes as they are more narrow, which I need. Ecco for walking sandals.

Fit great, make annoying squeaking sound. Same thing my last Ravennas did.

I have bought Ravennas for years, however this model is not as good as it used to be, 2-3 years ago was what worked best. This model is lacking ankle support and does not hug them foot on my long runs like the older models used to.

I have worn Ravenna's for several years. Loved the 8's and 9's. Finally had to upgrade to the 11's which I am disappointed with I owned mine for just under 3 months and a hole began to form in the heel on the left shoe. I only wore them for running a few miles a week and walking. Then a few weeks later a hole appeared in the right heel. I have never had this happen with any other Ravenna's and I have worn them for many 5K's and half marathons (along with all the training involved). Very disappointed. I loved the 9's the best and wish they would go back to that design. Not sure I'll be buying another pair of these....:-(

Love the fit but they're giving me terrible blisters. Going to try different socks but may have to return.

Love Ravennas - started wearing them last year and first model was the 10s. This update seemed fine, but I started noticing blisters on anything longer 5mi. And I never get blisters ever. I tried different socks and bodyglide, but the same problem doesn't present with the 10s, so I think this update must have narrowed a bit in some fashion. Shoes feel fine and normal while wearing them, but clearly something is a little off. Brooks is working with me on an exchange for a wider size, so hopefully that fixes the problem. Ravenna is a great shoe, but the update fell a little short.

I had Brooks Ravenna 10s, which I absolutely love and feel very supported in. Unfortunately, the Brooks Ravenna 11s were very disappointing. They felt a full half size smaller, as my toes touched the shoes in the 11s, but not the 10s. They did not feel quite as supportive as the 10s, and the material felt a little more flimsy.

I have been running in Ravennas for years - ever since the Ravenna 6. Of course, there are always updates and minor changes to shoes. The change from the 10 to the 11 was pretty drastic. The shoe fits completely different. I agree to other reviewers, the shoe seems a little longer. I also had a lot of issues with the comfortability of the heel, and even ended up developing a lot of heel pain - I ended up buying inserts to help with this!? I also feel like there's just much more space in the shoe, which makes it feel like there's less support. Bring the old structure back!!

I really love them, but they are just a bit sloppy fitting in the heel. I ordered a half size bigger as suggested in comments, but wondering if I should have ordered street shoe size? I'm not returning because I do like them a lot!

Had to return as the arch support was too high in them for my feet. Loved the color, though!!

Compared to previous Ravenna styles, these aren't the greatest. They look nice, and fit well, but they are very flat and hard and gave the back of my ankles blisters - something no Brooks running shoe has ever done in ten years!

Nothing extraordinary. It's well made but did not help with my knee pain like I expected it to. To me, it didn't feel any different than any other running shoe. I returned the pair I bought.
