The shoes definitely run small. Sizing up a half size should do it. I took the advice of other reviews and did just that. The shoe is comfortable with moderate arch support and not firm and not too soft.

I'm trying to decide what to do with these. I LOVED my Ravenna 10s and was able to run in them with no problem straight out of the box. I ran about 3 miles in the 11s and now have blisters on the back of both heels. I have a pretty narrow heel, too. I compared them to my 10s, and there is definitely less padding on the inside of the heel in the 11s. Hoping they will break in, but I hate having to delay some runs/walks until the blisters heal.

I had an older version of these shoes (Revenna 8) that I loved so got these. No matter what I do they rub on the back of my ankles. I have to wear tall thick socks or bandaids EVERY time I walk in these or I get a blister. I mean like every time and I’ve been wearing them for months.

I am very particular about walking shoes. They must be comfortable, fit a wider forefoot, have decent arch support, and not be hideous. These shoes get it mostly right! They are very comfortable right out of the box - cushioned footbed, no weird lumps or bumps - and also require little to no breaking in. I wore them out around my neighborhood for a 1 mile walk and they were great. No hot spots, no weird rubbing, just comfortable shoes. They fit my feet well. I have bunionettes (bunions on my pinkie toe bone) and these are wide and stretchy enough to accommodate them. I like the colors - the blue and salmon are pretty together. I wish the soles were not quite so bright white, but it's a minor quibble. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable mesh upper walking shoe.

I've been wearing Ravennas for the better part of a decade and really love them! I like how light they've become, but still feel supportive. I like how the laces are finally longer and always stay tied. Basically I don't have to worry about my shoes during my run, which is fantastic. But my last pair for whatever reason have given me a really annoying blister on one side or my heel! The only way I can tolerate it is with a new pair of anti-blister socks and lots of vaseline. No clue what happened or if this one is just extra stiff? But it's a little annoying. They have about 50 miles on them and it's not feeling any better... Not sure what's up here!

I'm not a runner but needed a shoe with a lot of support. I'm not totally used to them yet but overall they are good. I'm not sure if there is enough support.Any other recommendations?

The Ravenna line has been the only running shoe that I haven't had any issues. No blisters, sore feet, etc until Ravenna 11. I don't know what changed in the toe box, as it looks the same, but my right little toe and the one next to it start to go numb after a short time into my run or even if I'm just walking. I'm working through it and it does seem to be getting better.

This is the third pair I had to try due to width issues. The width is better on these , but I am still finding some burning in my toes. I find the issue is the lack of cushion in the forefront of the shoe. Maybe this is the case with all running shoes , cross trainers are just not true wides when labeled so. I am keeping these , but not 100% loving them.

I really enjoy these shoes. I am a novice runner but they are secure on my feet. I put in my own prescription arch supports and they still fit very well.

The Ravenna 11 is an extremely comfortable shoe for me. I find that the Brooks styles are kind of simple looking, not very stylish. However, comfort is the most important thing to me so I will continue to buy Brooks.

I have another pair of Brooks that are the same size but my new ones seem to be tight. They just don't fit as well as my other pair.

I love this shoe! The Brooks Ravenna 11 is almost perfect for my feet. I give the product 4 stars only because I think they skimped on the width and length. My foot is just shy of a true wide. I have periperhal neuropathy in my feet so the true wide is best, but the Ravenna 11 works for me. I always buy a size larger in running shoes, but for these the size larger feels more like a half size larger. My foot feels supported all around. The heel is not too much, so they aren't clunky. I have had these shoes over a month now and I find myself wearing them for more than just my running\exercise time. Brooks only offers a wide fit for this shoes in the Cornflower blue. Two things I wish: that Brooks would not change the Ravenna 11 AT ALL and that they would offer more colors in the wide width. I would definitely buy these again.

The material is soft and comfortable but I'm afraid my big toe will wear through the shoe quickly. (My big toes both turn up). I love Brooks, though, and this is my third pair. I had been wearing the Addiction 12 stability running shoe with advice from my podiatrist because of falling metatorsals. Unfortunately the design was changed on the new model.

Oh my gosh, the cornflower blue is *gorgeous*!! Unfortunately they're not quite as supportive and stiff (which I need for my achy feet/bunions) as the Brooks Addiction 14 or the New Balance 940. These also have a sleeker look as opposed to those two clunkers. Unfortunately, I need to go for comfort over looks. If you need moderate rather than max support, please get these so I can enjoy them vicariously!! ;)

I have been wearing Ravennas since I first started running! I wore these a couple of days around the office just to 'break' them in a bit before running. They are comfortable but my feet felt tired after the first time I ran in them, and it was only a three mile run. Am hoping they just needed to be worn a little more and will be as good as previous versions.

I am an extremely busy housecleaner so I needed a sneaker with great support. These are definitely it! It took me a little while to break them in though. There was an issue with the left sneaker tongue. It was curved over too much on one side and was really bothering me to the point I thought I was going to have to return them. I had to constantly adjust it during the day to make it feel comfortable. I hate returning items so I waited a couple of weeks and hoping I could fix that problem and for the most part I did. It's still like that but my foot just got used to it so not noticing it much anymore. Other than that problem I love them. My feet don't feel so tired at the end of my long day anymore. I will definitely be buying these again.

I am not a runner. I'm an older walker who have worn ravennnas for years. They give me great support. My only complaint is my Renanna 10s stretched out uncomfortably before I was ready for new ones. My feet did not shrink as al my other shoes fit fine. Hopefully these new Ravenna 11s will last longer.

This is at least my fourth pair of Ravennas. That alone says I like Brooks products. I have rather narrow heels, and, while I intend to keep these, they don't fit as closely as previous models. I attribute the difference to the much narrower tongue on the 11's. The tongue just covers the space between the laces, while in the past it extended a bit to the sides as well. (And I do use the "extra" holes at the top to snug up the laces.) I do like the neutral color, too.

I love this shoe. It connects great with the ground. Light with the running. I just need a little bit more cushion. If I didn't need the extra cushion I would have stayed with it. I do really like the shoe but ,I went with Bedlam 2

I love Brooks running shoes. I have purchased a new pair every year for the past 8 years or so. The Ravenna 11's are so light weight and feel less clunky than my model 9s & 10s. Although I feel like the arch support is lesser than those two models, which is why I initially enjoyed this style. I also loved the color selections this year, they were more my speed and less harsh than previous models.

Shoes are comfortable. I appreciate getting wide shoes in an attractive color. Not every woman wants pink or white shoes. The toe box could have been a smidge wider, but otherwise they are great. I will wear lighter socks.

The color is very pretty I will say that, very vibrant and attractive. It looks like the picture. Now on to the shoe itself. The toe box feels much narrower then the 10s. I thought maybe because I didn't break them in that's why they felt a little tight but it's still the same. The tie box makes my feet feel smushed once I start running and walking for a bit. I do put powder in my shoes and also wear running socks. They are the same size as my 10s but feel tighter/rubs my pinky toe something serious. Overall the cushion is great & there is a nice arch. Springy and cushioned under my feet. My only issue is the toe box. I upgraded to use these for marathon training but I'd have blisters before mile 13. I say either but wide or maybe a half size up. I wish someone had told me because they are a nice shoe just runs narrow in the toe area.
