Shoelaces are way to long. Double tied and loops almost touch the floor. I tried to get replacement laces at a better length and was told that was the only size. The arch support are not as good. After wearing Brooks for 20 years I?m not sure if I would buy anymore brooks.

Not happy with this one compared to the older version. The heal isn't as wide and support not as good. Would not get them again. May have to try and get old version.

Disappointed that they were too big and wide.

After using the '18s i bought these and they do not support the same as the previous version. I feel like they chose design over quality.

The sizes of Brooks sneakers are inconsistent and if you choose a different style they must be tried on. I returned these and got a different style. They are not as comfortable as the pair I bought a couple of years ago

Wow! What a disappointment! The toe box is shorter and wider, and I have a long narrow foot. The removable shoe insert has the "maximum support" instead of the support actually being in the structure of the shoe. The shoe is a lower quality shoe than any Brooks shoe I have owned in the past 15-20 years. Why make a cheaper shoe instead of advancing toward greater innovation, technology and structure to improve performance? Maybe it's time that I begin searching for a different brand. This shoe is not worth the money and I am sending it back! Very disappointed!

I was expecting the Ariel 20 to be a better version of the Ariel 18 but that what not the case. Ariel 18 was very comfy and had great support. Felt like walking on clouds as soon as I put them on for the 1st time and did not want to use any thing else. But the Ariel 20 was not comfortable at all and the stretchy laces are not good because they did not hold heal down properly even with the extra hole on the sides. I had to return it and am now scared to even try the Ariel 23.

I will be returning this shoe, not NEAR as comfy as the other one I usually get. Only switched as I'd like to find one that lasts at least 6 months, and the shoe I usually get (addiction walker 2 didn't last but 4 months before it felt like I needed a new pair, so wanted to see if I could find something that might last...guess not. :( Gotta be comfy AND last, not just last. Not at ALL happy. :(

Shoe is poorly made at the toe area on the outside of the shoe. Quickly showing west unlike previous years of this shoe.

They didn't fit right. Too late to send them back. I had good luck with these shoes in the past. I stand alot at work, so I got told a running shoe would be best.

Shoe lacking in good support

Literally half an inch shorter than the Brooks addiction and Brooks Ghost. Very narrow especially in the toe box, but not in the heel. So if someone has a narrow foot, but not a narrow heel it might work for them. Orthotics do not sit flat in the shoe.

True to size but Horrible toe stub rub not sure if it is a stitching or just the model. Other wise comfortable but after a few hours it started to rub my toes.

I normally like this shoe but the pair that was sent to me was really tight in the big toe area on the right foot. Perhaps it was a defect in that shoe.

I ordered 1 pair for my aunt & then decided I wanted a pair too. She complained that one was much narrower than the other (she complains about everything so I was doubtful). Mine came in shortly thereafter & one was a full size bigger than the other. Not sure what happened to their quality control but they're certainly not the same company they used to be. I'll be going with a company that has standards in future.
