I prefer the 18 model overall. But the 20 does have more padding around ankle. The colors for the 20 are not attractive. I am not a runner. I have flat feet and am prone to tibialis tendon injuries; these and other brooks are good for those conditions but I would not run in these - when I tried to in my adrenalines which are also good for flat feet, in injured my tibialis tendon.

Love them... Would give them a five star but they are not quite as stable as my Brooks18. They are awesome though I love all of Brooks shoes!

they fit and feel great but I prefer the leather with the more solid back. I have to use a shoehorn to put them on to keep back from collapsing as I slip them on

very comfortable shoe. Foot issues have been resolved by wearing Brooks shoes. The wide width is very roomy.

Love the shoe. Only shoe I can wear because of my overpronation. Considering how much they cost I was a bit ticked when I noticed that the 2 shoelaces were NOT the same length. I actually took both laces out & measured them to be absolutely certain. One shoelace was at least 6 in shorter than the other

Still looking for a wider toe base.

I have worn another Brooks style for a very long time. I have had a foot problem so decided to try a different fit. Wow, these are wonderful. This is my second pair of them.

Lighter, esp after about 2 miles noticed. Easier on arches than 18s

Good support. Just not stylish enough. Need more colors.

Great shoe especially for people who need a lot of support. A tiny bit wide but overall working out very well.

I was disappointed to find this ariel is a half size smaller than the ariel 18. I had to send them back.

I have worn Ariels for over twenty years. I do not find this shoe to be as comfortable as last pair I purchased and I definitely do not like the looks. Colors and styling need to be improved.

Not as comfortable as the Ariel 16. Not as much motion stabilization. Not as comfortable in the arch. Better than any other shoe I have tried on the market though.

This is my 3rd pair of Ariel's. This pair is same size as others but harder to get on and fits like a 1/2 size smaller. Seriously thinking about sending them back. They are great for my chronic back and leg pain.

Great shoe, but even though I went up a half size, the shoe is still a slightly short. Depending on your fit, go up either a full size or half size. I ordered the wide but I don?t think I needed to. Sturdy and comfortable shoe.

These are my everyday shoes because I have pronation. I like that the shoes are lighter weight than the Ariel 18, makes it for an easier walk. It does seems as if the heel cushion is not as durable like the Ariel 18s because my feet hurt at the end of the day. But, other than that, great fit, pretty color, mostly cushioned sole. Would buy again.

These are very comfortable and lightweight, but seem to have less support than the shoes from previous years. I haven't worn them very long yet and so will have to see how often I need to replace them for support.

When I purchased these I bought 2 pairs Grey and Black. The grey pair doesn't seem to have the same support and cushion in them as the Black pair.

I am in my late seventies. This shoe has the good support that I need, because I walk at least 2, and sometimes 4 miles on hilly country road daily or as often as weather allows. I do wear my arch supports in them. I have pronation and flat feet. I have recovered from plantar fasciitis and do not want to go there again.
