I have been wearing Brooks since early 90's. I was disappointed by the heel construction this year. It folds in even when using a shoe horn! I hope Brooks corrects this problem.

I bought this style in black 6 mos. ago. Same size! This pair feels a little short.

The only reason I gave the Ariel 20s 4 stars is I prefer my Ariel 18s because of the wider toe bed. Overall, happy with my new shoes.

I purchased these shoes online. I have planter fasciitis. I am not a runner but work on concrete 13 hour shifts up and down constantly. I took out the Brooks insole and added my orthotic insole. These shoes have made a huge difference in my feet and back. I still have a long way to go but this is a purchase I'm so glad I made.

I have worn Hoka One2 for almost a year for work and walking my dog. All the ones I ordered were in wide except for one. I thought they?re okay but all the pairs I?ve worn I ended getting pain in my right 5th toe. This pair feels like it?s gently hugging my feet. Really comfortable. I gave it a 4 star ?cuz it would have been perfect if the soles are thicker.

Love the shoes! They are so comfortable and provide great arch support however, the heel area is a bit too cushiony for me. I wish the heel area was a more ridged to provide better support.

The shoe fits well and has good cushioning, but I find the sole width to extend out beyond the heel body making it a bit clubby.

Brooks is a new shoe brand for me. I’ve always bought NB. I have a standard x-wide foot, solid size 12, with average toes. This is the first shoe that I’ve purchased where the big toe space is just a bit small. Not too small that I can’t wear them, but I need to use a compression bootie so my big toe does not rub against the top or side of the shoe when moving. It has a medium box for the toes. It’s not as big as NB. If the two companies could get together and make a shoe combing both toe box designs, they would have a great toe box! The support is fantastic. I’m overweight and need that extra structure. If you wear a 12 EE, I would not go to a 13. It’s just a hair off with the big toe room. If you wear the compression sock, the shoe will fit perfectly! Maybe with time, the fabric will stretch. Overall, this shoe feels great. Thank goodness for x-wide in size 12!!

Amazing shoes! Gives me the stability I need and it has helped ease some foot pain! The only 2 things I did not care for is the insoles are very squishy and sometimes feel squeaky, but I use my own insoles anyway. The only other thing is it has small holes at the top above the toes for breathability but if it rains, you will get a little damp sock.

I wear this model and brand because my orthopedist told me to! I've had 'bad feet' since childhood--even wore corrective shoes. They are good support, and I can get a decent enough fit. I don't like the heel collar/cushion on this model--too much of it and too soft. It collapses into the back of the shoe. But otherwise, it does what I bought it for.

Light, stable. I use a insert with more arch support, pull out insert that comes with the shoe.

Doesn’t have the same arch support as the Ariel 18. Can’t seem to find a shoe that does. These are wide enough for my bunion. Going to look for alternative insoles that provide better arch support.

I feel these shoes were better in past years. I had two pairs of the '18 model (and many years prior due to plantar fasciitis), and they had better cushioning before the '20 and weren't as bendable as these are. I do like that they come in wide width so you do not have to break them in. I don't take a wide width in regular shoes but need them in sneakers or I end up with painful bunions. They are still cushioned but not as much as prior years models.

They are great shoes, but aren't quite as comfortable as the Ariel 18. Also, I do have to put in my own insoles- don't know why all present day manufactured athletic shoes from all companies always include poorly made insoles that really don't offer support! Granted, my feet are a bit older, but back in the day, quality athletic shoes were really supportive and sturdy.

I need a half sizer larger and the 2E which I am waiting for; like the support (throughout entire shoe w/o using internal shanks so get both support and comfort), use of more material, and comfort.

Love the color but wish you had it in a 2E. Am waiting on a 1/2 size larger and just hoping provides enough width. Like the comfort, support, and lightness.

The wide toe box has sold me. This is the 3rd pair of Arielle that I have had. I walk about 20,000 steps ,4 days a week at my job and no pain.

this is the first time I bought Ariel. I am a big Brooks fan, but usually wear different models. My feet are bad, and with weight gain over the years, my arch has gone from very high to very flat. I can feel how much the guiderails help me to walk straighter. They were uncomfortable in the beginning, but with everyday get better. I am also recovering from a broken femur, and these sneakers do definitely help me walk better. Less limp. I would buy again

Good fit, shoddy construction, once again. This is the third pair of Brooks I have returned this year because they began to get holes in the first month of wear, and I am an old lady who walks slowly in nice weather only, not an athlete. I have loved Brooks for many years, hate to see their quality diminished.
