Fit is very true and extremely comfortable. In running shoes I'm always a 14 D for the most part and these did not disappoint. The outsoles have an exceptional cushion and grip. Have worn them on light trails and been impressed. I'm so used to buying boring black or navy and this bright blue was a nice departure.

The style is okay. They look nice for a wide size. Only gone 3miles in them and they felt okay. Can tell they have the stability which I prefer over the ultra soft shoes. The best part of these shoes is buying them from Zappos. They are hands down the absolute best with customer service. Only place I buy shoes and it will stay that way.

I have been a Glycerin customer for about 5 years now. These shoes are well worth the few extra dollars you will spend. I really like how Brooks does not try super hard to make the Glycerin “better” with every new model. My only complaint is I have very wide feet....and Brooks does not typically offer flashy color schemes in a wide size. I am typically stuck with a meh black or grey.

Great shoe. Cushioned ride but firm enough to feel the road.

Great looking shoe. Extremely comfortable when you put it on. When I originally purchased it I was hoping it had more cushion so there would be less wear & tare on my knees than with my Diads. When I go on longer runs I have experienced the opposite. The rigid platform-like bottom of the Diad seems to offer better support. I am trying these again with inserts to see if that matters. I wish Brooks had a model that combined the comfort of the Glycerin but the platform stability/design of the Diad.

As much as I liked the Glycerin 18, I couldn't get a size that fit me right. In my mind, they run a bit narrow. But for me, the major issue was the lack of room in the toe box. The structure of the shoe around the front of the toe box area was stiff and with the lack of room there, it wasn't working for my 4 small toes. So after talking with a couple of helpful customer service folks, I decided to try the Dyad 11 as it likely has the most room in the toe box area of any of their running shoes. And they were right - the Dyad 11 works so much better for me! Lots more room and no stiff structure around the front and sides of the toe box. Don't get me wrong - the Glycerin 18s have lots of cushion and, other than the toe box area issue I had, they were really comfortable. Kudos to the customer service staff for all of their help and to the company itself for their generous return policy. They've earned a customer for life!

I actually like the 16 & 17 better. The 18 has a very flat outer sole, with no traction at all. I have not worn them in the snow yet, but I am not holding my breath. The cushioning is great as always so I am going to give them a 4 out of 5 for now. I normally get 500 - 600 miles on my Glycerins. We will see if I can get that many mile on the 18's with the smoother sole.

I like the fit and the appearence but I am thinking that the inner sole could have a little softer cushion to it but still good. Or maybe I need to purchase a replacement inner sole.

Great shoe overall. My first Brooks were actually the Glycerin 17's and they're what switched me to a Brooks fan. The 18s are great; much lighter, more flexible right out of the box, and the great cushion that is why I love it and use it for both everyday runs and long runs. The main reason for the 4/5 stars is the shoelaces. They feel cheaper and actually come untied somewhat often (if I'm running more than 5 miles I have to double-tie them or else I know I'm going to have to stop at some point), which is not anything I encountered with the 17's or with my Launches. Keep up the good work, Brooks, but fix the laces on the next ones!

Overall, I like these new Glycerin 18's. The fit is good. They support and stabilize my feet well. The laces are decent, but I liked the laces of the Glycerin 15's much better.
A few negative comments: There is something hard and almost "sharp" in the top of the heel that was rubbing a blister in the back of my ankle. The insole insert does not provide much cushioning at all.

Great fit out of the box and very comfortable. Not rating 5 stars yet as I’ve only had them for a few days.

Overall a nice shoe. I ordered men's because I needed the width but still not wide enough for me and there wasn't enough cushion and my feet still hurt when I went walking. Also got a blister on the back of my right foot. Ordered the women's ghost 13 so hopefully those are a better fit!

Coming out of Adrenaline GTS (support) I found the Glycerin to be lacking in support comparatively. But, they are light and comfortable which I am very pleased with. I tend to roll my ankles so I'm a bit hesitant to full out sprint though.

I had to order a wider size but they fit good and seem sturdy enough. I appreciate the quick ship and that it was easy to return the first pair which was too narrow.
I'd also recommend:

Happy with my Glycerine shoes... pretty cushy, I like the aggressive forward tilt of the footbed, makes me want to run.... not for slow pokes....
Compared to my previous Glycerine shoes...
.
I like the new style of shoestrings, they stay tied more securely.
I don't like that they may be just a bit narrower than earlier Glycerins, but it's hard to tell the difference.
Increased bottom rubber, they should last a few miles more. A bit more road noise but again hard to tell the difference.
Pretty comfy, but you do get tired when you run with them on.

Was excited to try the newest version of Glycerin, but, I'm not sure the toe box is any wider than previous year; Glycerin 17 Regular is now considered 18 wide. The color choices this year leave much to be desired. I wish toe box measurements were available year to year

I like the new cushioning in the soles. The length seem a little longer than prior Glycerins but none the less they are great shoes.
