I bought these for my husband. He loves them. He said they're comfortable, easy to break in, Great quality and fit just like he wanted them. He's very picky, so I will definitely be buying from Brooks again. Very satisfied customer.

It is comfortable to run in. I only have about 12 miles in them so far but they seem to be a little better for heel strikers like me. They fixes the tighter toe box that the last couple models had. Shoe laces are a bit shorter no need or way to double knot. I replaced the standard insert with a stiffer more supportive like I do with all my running shoes to protect my arch and heel. However please, please please go back to having at least one bright colorful shoe like you did with the ghost in the past and have this year.

My first pair of brooks and I am blown away! The Glycerin 18 are fantastic! The fit and feel are perfect for me. The upper is great, the slide in feel wonderful, and it has excellent cushioning. I love the cushion and the responsiveness. I am really, really, really impressed!

The 18 is my fifth iteration of this shoe and just as strong a performer as the rest. I noticed the standard great cushioning and stability immediately on my first run and though I took it easy expecting a break-in period, I found that it fit like a glove and didn't require any adjustment from my 17s.

This is one of the best fitting shoes that i have worn. It is very comfortable. I wear them whenever i go for my walks and around the house. I have a problem and have to wear orthotics inserts and have had problems with wearing them in other shoes. But not with these shoes.
I'd also recommend:

I have been running in the various versions of the Glycerin for several years and love them. Casual runner (3-4 mi 3-4 x/wk) and like a high cushion shoe. I typically get about 6 months out of these before the forefoot cushioning claps out. I can't say I really feel a difference between each incremental update, but that's not a criticism. That said, the construction and materials in the 18 are visually sleeker and more minimal than earlier versions.

So far I like these quite a bit. They fit well, and have a lot of cushion. I use them for fitness training rather than running. I like that they removed the bumps that protruded from the sides of the soles on the 17's. It may be a small thing but it makes it a lot easier to put on sweatpants while wearing the shoes. The 17's would snag. Also the laces are shorter and I don't need to double tie them.

I'm not sure why I ever stray from Brooks. This is my first Glycerin style - I used to use Pure Cadence - and I'm a fan. It's well cushioned but not sloshy or slow. The EE feels super roomy and I can tell my stride feels at home in them.

This shoe fits and feels great. I’ve been a Brooks fan for a few years now and the Glycerin is definitely a great one. The comfort level, as far as I’m concerned, is unmatched.

I love the Glycerin shoe, but you guys have to start giving us some bright and colorful options. This is the first time in 6 years that I won't be buying a couple pairs of Glycerin shoes because they are so homely. BTW it is ok to make a men's shoe in hot pink or purple or light green or any color that isn't black, grey, and blue.

I like the glycerin line so much, I won't try other shoes. This is my fifth pair. I buy them for my girl friend too. She loves them and is now on her second pair. They are like wearing pillows on my feet.

These are my favorite Glycerins since the 15's. I don't know specifically what changes Brooks made, but these are a few that I noticed. To me, they seem to be more neutral than the both the 16's and 17's. I can see and feel the support to the outside of the shoe; which is great for me because my feet tend to supinate when I run. Also, my feet run right on the edge between a usual D and wide EE widths. I previously just ordered D widths, which were good. The 17's seemed narrower in the toe box and I moved up to a EE width, which was good. For the 18's, I ordered EE's and they are definitely wider in the the toe box than the 17's. I've only done one run on the 18's and I already really like them. The only thing I may consider in the future is going back to a D width. If you are on the line between D and EE widths, try them on first before you buy them. As a parting note, I have been running on Glycerins since the 4's and have owned just about every version since then. I have tried other running shoes (Nike, Hokas, Altras, even the Brooks Ghosts and Launches, etc) and have always come right back to my Glycerins.

I’m very pleased with these shoes. They are really, really comfortable and are a pleasure to run in. I run on a treadmill but I’m also certain they would be awesome outside as well on either paved or unpaved surfaces. Great shoes!

The Glycerin line keeps getting better. I've had the 13, 15, 16, 17 and 18, and loved them all.

Only have about 20 miles on them. Fit is perfect for me - not loose on tight. Cushioning is just right. The shoe strings are the correct length for me, I wear size 8 and usually the shoe strings are so long that I have to stuff the ends in my shoes when finished tying them. These are my 5th Glycerins. Thanks for making a quality product.

I love running in the Glycerin 18. It has been an exceptional every day running shoe for me. The upper fits like a glove and is very comfortable with plenty of room in the toe box. The shoe provides complete heel lockdown and offers outstanding cushioning while remaining surprisingly light and quick. I highly recommend it.

I do short runs several times a week. I liked the Glycerin 17?s and the new 18?s. From years of sports and running, my feet require a softer ride - hence more cushioned shoes. Used to be a dedicated Adrenaline but found these to be more comfortable for me. Only negative (same issue year after year) is there is very limited color choice for a wide foot. Have been wearing Brooks exclusively for 25+ years and if you have a wide foot, you better love the color gray or black. Actually, with the 18?s I was able to score white in wide fit.
