good size and comfortable foot bed-amazing unless you want to walk...the ankle and shaft were way to stiff.

I"m 5'1" and 105 lbs. The shaft height was OK, but the calves were too wide for me, even with jeans. Also, the lining goes right up to the top edge of the boot and could be seen because of the width. I like the simplicity of the design and the color, but I'll be sending them back.

The grey boots that I received are 18" circumference which is enormous. So disappointed that the description is completely wrong!

This is not full grain leather as stated, it looks like they use all man made materials. The grey boots are shiny, looks a lot like rain boots and they are very wide in the calf. I am unhappy with the quality, I would never spend the retail $190 for these boots. Disappointing experience.

Leather was very stiff and uncomfortable.

Nice boot but doesn't tolerate any puddles or snow. I stepped into a puddle and immediately got a puddle on the boot :-(

Gorgeous but uncomfortable. The pointy and narrow toe boxes may be uncomfortable to many. To those with bunions, these make the boots difficult to put on and impossible to wear.

OUCH! BORN has been my VERY FAVE for YEARS, but not anymore... maybe they are just creating more "affordable" boots, but they are obviously less quality than before. I LOVE the leather on these--- I will give them 5 stars on the suede, and, for the price, they may be in the range, too. (I am not a "boot snob", but have plenty of foot issues and need quality comfort where I can get it.) BUT they are not what I used to know of BORN. The inside USED to have cushion... there was no "Breaking In" time, and they were always the correct size... but these are not "what they used to be." BUT... for the price....

Cheap quality "leather??"

I really wanted to love these boots. The calf part of the boots were HUGE. I def don't have skinny calves so I went back to make sure I didn't miss these are for larger calves and they don't appear to be. Sending back. The shoe part felt comfortable.

The color and quality leather of these boots was beautiful, but the fit was not. They were a little uncomfortably tight around the ankles (though I could've lived with that) and HUGE around the calf. I'm 5'6" and 125 lbs. I just want to find a pair of boots that I fit tighter around my calf. These fit worse than cheap, clunky rain boots because they were so wide at the top of the calf. So bummed!

I almost ordered a 9 as that often is what I need in boots but it recommended an 8. It ended up being too narrow in the toes. I like the style but was very surprised to see a lot of scuffs and marks as if it was a used pair of boots. This was my first time trying Zappos and now I’m hesitant to do so again becssue I don’t want scuffed up boots at that price. I’m hoping this was a fluke.

These boots showed up scuffed and damaged and I will be returning them. I think even an undamaged pair would scuff up easily and wear badly. They are also definitely not a true gray as the question above indicated. The gray is still more brown and wouldn’t look good worn with black.

The boots arrived with several creases, smudges, and even stains. I am assuming these are a return from another customer. This is the first time I have ever received boots from Zappos in this condition and I have been a customer for over a decade. It must have been an oversight. Otherwise, the style, fit and look of the boot is terrific. Sadly I had to return them.

I like the looks of this boot. The size fit as expected, however the calf width was huge. I have a muscular calf and hoped this style would be just right. It fits more like a “wide calf” size, which I was careful NOT to order. I’ll be sending them back because even with jeans tucked in the (calf) shaft pouches out. I ordered a size 8 1/2 M.

This was to be a Christmas gift for my daughter so I cannot speak to the comfort/fit although I had to choose one, but the leather is extremely cheap looking and feeling. I went with Frye for $10 more! Can't go wrong with Frye!
