Love the lightweight, airy feel. The glove like fit is sublime and just what I was looking for.

I just finished another 7-mile run in these and I couldn't be happier. They have a bit more cushioning than the Vapor Glove I had before. My step is more confident and I maintain a faster pace. These are still lightweight and agile.
I wear Merrell hiking shoes around the plant nursery and wood shop and their running shoes while training for half-marathons. I appreciate the high quality, durability, and the fact that I can order a size 9.5 and know they will be a perfect fit right out of the box. Thanks!

Like my older Merrill Moab waterproof hiking shoes, these felt great and like I'd worn them for months right out of the box. Love the minimalist design, lightweight, and cushion that they gave my feet. Working out or taking long walks, these are absolutely perfect trainers for me.

I have been wearing the New Balance wide shoes and I have had major problems with pain at the bottom of my feet and heel. I have heard of the quality in Merrell so I decided to give it a try. I play Pickleball several days a week and for 3 to 4 hours each time and the pain in my feet was intense, but when I played in the Merrell shoe the pain has almost gone away, I think by the end of the week it will. So, if tennis shoes are a problem try these. Because of the fabric on the top of the shoe my wide foot is not a problem, I can wear the medium width.

I have large feet with various problems that make finding a comfortable shoe problematical. Barefoot style Merrel's work perfectly for my needs! Thank you, thank you.

When I put them on they felt weird compared to my chameleons. I spent about an hour walking around adjusting the lases trying different things then I took them for a run and I was not disappointed. They were so light and encouraged me to get up off of my heels onto the balls of my foot lengthening my stride making running easy by comparison.
After 30 years I had decided it was time to train for a 10k. My last run had been the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC, which I had run in size 13 New Balance. I had been hiking in Chameleon 7's ever since I had found them about three years after the marathon, so about 27 years now, two pair every year as a where of them 24 / 7 alternating between the old pair and the new pair of wearing them out donating the old ones to the Salvation Army, as even a worn out pair has got much more life in it then most.
I'm really excited about training again and that 62 I'll probably post a good time for my age bracket thanks to a fresh step in these trail runners.

I used to wear a competitor zero drop trail shoe but their quality has really gone down hill. These Merrells are just perfect. Light weight, great fit, zero drop but with a good footbed so not punishing on the road or trail. Ordered a second pair just in case they change them (please don't)

I'm not much of a runner, but I did some light trail running and a HIIT routine recently with these and they feel nice and light while making my foot feel stable. I would wear warm socks if it's cold as the upper mesh is not insulated.

I am highly satisfied with these shoes. I had a 5+ year old pair of zero-drop minimalist Merrells and I wanted to find something with just a little more support. These shoes fit the bill exactly. The sole is just a little thicker so my pants aren't dragging the ground, but they're still very slim and lightweight. I got the Olive color and I am very happy with this choice. They are actually a little greyer than the picture online shows, which is perfect for me. Not flashy at all, the color works with just about anything in my wardrobe, and it hides dust and dirt exceptionally well.

These are becoming my go to shoe. I've used these shoes for multiple marathons, GoRuck events, and Spartan races. They have held up well considering What I've put them through.
The sole shows little wear. It has just enough padding to support constant pounding on pavement mile after mile. Plenty of traction on rough terrain, when it's muddy or wet.
I have yet to get a blister even when the shoe is completely soaked and the box toe give my toes plenty of room to where they don't feel cramped or stacked on top of each other.

I got these for a GORUCK event. These required no break in time. They took a beating during the 15 hour event. I paired them with 2 layers of socks. Even after a mile and a half through a creek they drained well. These shoes survived multiple burpees, pushups, buddy carries and ruck runs. I'll definitely be buying another pair when these wear out. They've become my every day shoes!

These shoes are either the best shoes I've ever worn or are made specifically for my feet. I like zero drop shoes/ barefoot and have had a few trail gloves. I decided to try out a little cushion, but maintain the zero drop. I went with these shoes because I thought they looked so cool. The second I put them on I was hooked. I use them for basically everything, HITT/ Crossfit, strength training, hiking, running road or trail. they are holding up nicely and are very durable. Comfortable with or without socks. Don't go away with this shoe Merrell, keep it around and maybe make a mid ankle high version and do all black so I can wear them to work too

Very durable with good traction.
Nice wide toe box and breathable.
I am running 24hr endurance races and I am certain this shoe will be fine, as I have already ran 20 miles in them without any issues!

I've been purchasing Merrell Glove shoes for several years. This is an outstanding shoe with a bit different feel. I like them both. For sizing purposes, this shoe seemed a bit tighter in the width and toe box than the Glove line. Highly recommended.

I have been running in Bare Access shoes for a couple of years and have loved them for their light weight and great ground connection. However, there were some instances where I wanted just a little more traction and protection. The XTR provided just that, and in my opinion is a perfectly balanced trail running shoe.

It has been a few years since I have worn a Merrell bare trainer. The shoe is light and performs very well in and outdoors - the ideal cross training shoe. The vibram sole is minimal but provides just the right amount of support and cushion. I like the bare access xtr so much that I bought a second pair.

Upgrading from the Trail Glove 4, this fit perfectly in my feet.
The trail glove was too minimal for my liking, and this seems like a perfect mix of cushioning and minimalism.
The fit was perfect, the grip was awesome. Did a couple of hikes in the rains and it held well.
