I walk 30kms plus every day on mixed terrain for my job and these boots have been excellent right from day one! Comfortable right out of the box, being leather they really come into their own after a few wears. Waterproofing has been excellent so far and performed better that the goretex versions I purchased previously. Soles could be a little more durable but I walk 150km per week so I dont expect invincible. These boots have become old friends.

3rd pair of Moabs this year, different colors/styles for different occasions. These are the best, most comfortable shoes I have ever owned or walked in. Thank you folks at Merrell for producing an excellent product!

These boots are very comfortable right out of the box. I believe they will live up to the standard my previous purchases of Merrell boots has provided in the past.

I've been wearing Moab shoes & boots for about 10 years now, they are my favorite by far. These all leather Moabs are no exception. They're comfortable out of the box & get even better as you wear them & "break them in". The oiled leather is a nice touch & VERY durable. Being able to get them in all black instead of brown is nice too, I much prefer an all black boot or shoe. They look really nice as well & they clean up easily. Overall I'm VERY happy with these boots, No cons whatsoever. ~Vortex

Over the years I have had a number of Merrell Moab style boots. All have been great for me and still wear them from time to time but these are by far the best fitting, most comfortable and stylish of the bunch. I have only had these a short time but for me, nothing compares.better. Try them out and you won't be disappointed. Five star plus is my rating. Great job Merrell.

I just got these and have only used them once so far. Right off the bat these boots are comfortable. It's like you don't even have to break them in. They also look awesome! I think they look even better in person. I purchased the all black ones and so far love them. If anything changes in the future I'll try and come back and update my review.

They look great, have the black ones, and really like how they slip on so perfectly. I'm hoping the soles hold up but so far no reason to doubt.

I bought these for my husband, and so far they are holding up well. He does a lot of scouting in the woods and these boots have held up off the trail. He really likes the traction.

These boots are absolutely perfect from the second you put them on! Gotta be my tenth pair of Moabs.

The boots seems to be sturdy. I have narrow feet. Even with heavy socks, the fit is still loose. Wish Merrell has narrow width.

I bought a size 12 Moab 2 Mid waterproof early July. (I have had size 12 for the last 50 years.) While I was walking on the flat the boot seemed to fit fine. But on my first steep hike in the Teton mountains my toes bumped into the front of the boot on the way down. (Lacing differently did not help). My toes seriously hurt when I came down from the hike. No more mountain hikes in those boots! I just now bought a Merrell size 12.5 (Moab 2 Ventilator) which seems to fit me much better. Great boot, but be careful not to buy it too small.

I've hiked both mountainous trails as well as the well beaten paths of a local wooded trail...These boots have lived up, so far, to my expectations...This is my third pair of Merrell hiking boots...I find them very comfortable and sporty looking...

Super light weight, I've been using then for work. On average I'm usually on my feet 8 hours day. Only one thing I would take away from this boot is my foot sometimes get really hot for though really hot summer days

Boot is great all around, but they do run a little small. I've worn a 10 in every Merrell footwear product I've owned until this one, including the new MOAB Speed(awesome shoe btw!). I was able to stretch them a little after wearing but recommend a half size up. Like my dad said, "You can wear boots a little big, but not a little small."

I love my merrells. They are my everyday footwear and my backcountry hiking/photography boots as well, My only wish is that the thread would not break so often. other than that they hold up great.

Comfortable and durable so far. The wide size is just right.

I wore these boots on a Colorado elk hunt. I hiked 15-20 miles with them. Overall they are very comfortable and kept my feet dry while walking through some swampy areas. The boots seemed a little big and wide for a size 12 though.

Shoes are comfortable. At first I was worried that the arches were to high for me but after wearing for a couple of days I don't notice any more.

The all leather boot is really comfortable and waterproof. I highly recommend this boot!
