This is my first pair of Merrell shoes. Being flat footed and having tried so many styles of shoes I have to say, this has exceeded my expectations so far. I read a few reviews about them having water leak issues, and falling apart, but im keeping my fingers crossed these will last as long as it feels they will last. I went jogging in the river valley yesterday, and I was able to sprint through dry and slightly moist mud terrain, the grip is such a pleasure to go slope running with.

I can't rave enough about this Company! I ordered my new Zion Mids on a Thursday's Night. I received my order on Sunday. That's amazing shipping!! Only two days of actually shipping and there here now. WOW! The boots are sooo comfortable. I love the color l! I'm just so happy with this company in general. I also have a pair I bought last year. I wear those everyday for work. I have zero issues with those. I just wanted another pair. I will Never buy another pair of boots that's NOT MERRELL! If you need a pair of comfortable boots that's dependable and not fall apart but you a pair of Merrell boots. Remember you get what you pay for! Thank you so much MERRELL!!

They feel like your favorite trail shoes but they protect like a good hiking boot. Super light weight and waterproof too. They were ready to hit the trail right out of the box with very minimal breaking in.

A GREAT pair of boots. Only downside (as was expected) was their tendency to create Uber sweaty feet. But that's normally what happens with good waterproofing ?. Definitely recommend!

I bought these for a trip to Alaska that is now not going to happen (thanks for nothing covid 19) But I'm glad I bought these ahead of time because they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I wear them on daily walks (by myself, social distancing don't you know) and I don't bother to take them off. Great shoe.

I am very pleased with the Zions so far, I've had several different style Merrell hiking boots and so far I think I like the Zions the best. I've only had them a week or so and put about 15 miles on them, but they seem to be holding up pretty good so far. They were comfortable right out of the box and didn't need to be broken in at all like past Merrells. I've used them on various terrain and in snow, with that said the waterproofing has held up well too. All and all good product so far.

I am beyond pleased with Zion boot. It is far more comfortable than I expected. They feel like a sneaker with the support of a hiking boot. I wear them 12 hours a day and still don't want to take them off when I get home from work.

Well it's been around 10 years since I purchased a Merrell shoe. I use to be huge fans of them, than I noticed their QC was terrible. Fast forward to last month, I took a shot in the dark are these boots, the Zion Waterproof. I needed an everyday casual boot that I can go from work, wearing dressshrits and slacks to hiking trails with. This is the perfect boot for that. I work casino security in Las Vegas in a management roll and have worn these boots for 2 weeks straight at work. Finally had the chance to go hiking at Red Rock today, while raining. These boots did great for the hike, good grip, waterproof, and. comfortable. Merrell let's hope these hold up for some time, because these boots are awesome.

Great comfort out of box. Have a hiking trip scheduled for 2 weeks from now and wanted to break these in. No need. Out of box they are great. I did read some reviews about them running small so I ordered a half size larger and they fit just right.

Bought these for sneaking up on critters with my bow. They fit great and are comfortable. Right now the only critters I've had a chance to sneak up on are the 3D variety because it's winter. I've arrowed quite a few though thanks to the sneakability of these bad boys.

Love them already. I play a lot of disc golf, up and down hills, rocks, water and anything you'd encounter in nature. They've been fantastic so far for this sport and trails and hills in general. I don't have any fear of my socks getting wet, the waterproofing works very well, I've tested that several times now! They're light, breath well, allow a lot of movement and I don't feel constricted when wearing them.

I usually take a size 9 in shoes. Size 9 was too small in this boot - had to go up to a 9.5 and they fit perfect. Very comfortable shoes. I kike the grip - especially in the snow. I like them a lot!

Lightweight, very comfortable and excellent grip. I have tested hiking with this sneaker-like shoes and found it is the most suitable boot facing dry and wet tropical conditions in my country, Malaysia. 5 stars!!!!

This is my third pair of Merrell boots. I got style similar to this one for a Europe trek back in 2014 that still fit like a glove. They are losing their grip so they are relegated to less activity. The “mega grip” on this new pair is absurd (in a positive manner). Very eager to see how they handle ice and snow upcoming soon in the northeast/New England areas.

Got the boots for hiking South Downs Way in southern England. This is a 100 mile trek from Winchester to Eastbourne (on the coast and the English Channel) The boots worked very well. Light but very able to handle broken ground, rainy conditions and walking across mud and wet chalk ground. The tread and decking made it very sure footed. It also protected the bottom of the foot from gravel and rock.

First, I did have to size up. I wear an 11 in the Moab and Phaserbound, but I'd heard the Zion toe box was narrower, and after chatting with a Merrell rep on here, I was advised to go up one full size, to a 12, as the Moab and Phaserbound naturally have a wider toe box, and the Zion's is narrower, closer to a running shoe. I took that advice and the 12s fit perfectly. They don't feel too big or awkward the way some shoes do when you have to size up to accommodate the toe box, they just fit perfectly. Moving around in them is easy and natural. Went on an easy three mile trek and did some housework in them and so far, they are everything I was hoping they would be. Lightweight, but still leave my foot feeling protected and supported. I'm loving these mids, and am now looking at picking up a pair of low tops to go with them. Highly recommended.

Recently tested out my new Zion boots and have to say, the fit is excellent! They fit like a sneaker which I prefer. They are very light and the materials feel very high quality. Hiked a quick 5 miles in them on moderate trails and the comfort is amazing, just what you'd expect from Merrell. Highly recommend!

Almost all the "hiking" footwear I have owned and tried usually provides great protection and support but ends up feels like a brick on the bottom of my foot. Typically, they aren't light weight or responsive. Basically, opposite of a sneaker. Merrell, you just made a game changer with the Zion! The Zion has almost a sneaker feel to it. It fits more like a sneaker, its incredibly light weight and responsive, BUT it also has all the protective and supportive factors you want in a good hiking shoe. Specifically, I struggle to wear a hiking shoe especially a mid/high shoe on my prosthetic leg because of weight and lack of cushion. I have been able to wear the Zion (mid) for long periods of time on my prosthetic leg without that discomfort I normally would get from a heavy hiker. Thank you Merrell for your efforts in creating footwear that isn't so one dimensional and allows for people with unique situations like myself to have all day comfort and still perform. I feel extremely grateful for being a Merrell ambassador so that I have the opportunity to use new products such as the Zion sooner than later.

Great shoe, comfortable and light to me. The size was way off, I wear size 11.5, had to move into 13. I review shoes for fun on YouTube and this shoe will be reviewed today. Awesome feel once sized right, wears soft and very comfortable. The lugs are soft and grippy, the tongue is soft all way through. This new style is right on as the Moab's never felt right. You got this one right! Thank you! Douglas Brown
