They are NOT navy blue, they are a medium powder blue.

rise needs to be taller .. short length is awesome but it comes at a cost of cameltoe .. i love the bootcut shape

I’m looking to replace a beloved pair of Mountain Hardwear hiking pants, but sadly these are not it. They fit well on my hips and thighs, but were far too big in the waist. Even the drawstring wasn’t making a difference. I thought about sizing down to try again, but I’m pretty sure they would be too tight in my rear to be comfortable while hiking. Bummer, because I did like the fabric and overall style, but the fit is just not right for my body.

I love the Columbia outdoor capris - have several pairs. These were true to size and would have looked great but only if I had bigger hips (I am more tube-shaped!) - since I don't, they kind of stuck out in bags over the hips. But if you have more of an hour-glass figure, they would be perfect.

These were cut a bit smaller than the last ones i got.

These were shockingly tight. I am typically a size 8 and in these pants there were really tight around the waist. The pants themselves look nice, but I would suggest getting a size larger. I returned these.

I am 5'9 155 pounds and I ordered a size 8, which fit perfect besides the length of the pants. The pant legs were way too short and flooding which sucks because these pants were super comfortable and flattering besides that, but that is definitely a deal breaker when pant shopping for me. They should offer long sizes in this style!!

I have these same pants from a few years ago and love them. However, when I ordered two new pairs, both have a different fit and material than my former pair. And the snap is ridiculously hard to open and shut. I thought I was going to tear the fabric. I do not recommend if you are looking for the soft and stretchy fabric that these anytime pants used to be made of.

I wish that I had ordered a smaller size in these pants, as they seem to stretch out, and by the end of the day are just hanging on me. The fabric is very comfortable, and is very lightweight. I had read the other reviewer's comments, and ordered a short length, but this turned out to be almost too short for me and I am only 5'4"! I am also not a fan of the Thai cord at the waist. I do like the pocket features as the pockets are large enough to carry my cell phone. I will keep these pants since I had already worn them an entire day before I realized the stretching issue, but I would recommend sizing one size down.

The quality of the pants is excellent and it fits true to size. I bought them for hiking. However, I'd be embarrassed to wear them in public. The legs are just too wide. I have thin legs and there is just too much fabric in the legs. The fabric would be flapping around in the wind. On what planet is this kind of hiking pant in style? If you live on that planet, then you'll be OK. They just don't fit me.

I had tried on the exact same pants in store, but ended up ordering them online. The boot cut pants I received were bell bottoms. The width was not nearly that large in the store (and yes I'm sure it's the same because I had taken a pic of the label, then later tried the pants on again at the store,) so I'm not sure if there is some inconsistency. Also, I'm 5'2 and needed petite or short pants.

Have purchased approximately 6 pairs in this category. Fabric used holds up well. Overall love the pants but...front pockets are to shallow, you name it, coins, keys or whatever falls out if seated rendering the pockets virtually worthless. Back pocket could use a zipper instead of the bitsy piece of Velcro to keep it closed. Just a few changes could make these pants AWESOME.

I have the capri version of these so I thought I would love the pants, too. They really are nice pants that you can dress up or down and super comfortable. Only downside is they pill really easily on the inner thigh. Unfortunately, these did not fit me well. I would love if Columbia would offer a "Long" length option for these pants. I'm only 5'6 and don't usually require longs but on these the regular is just too short. I want to love and wear these pants but I can't :( Thinking of having them altered into capris.

I've had these pants for 2-3 months. They are so comfortable and lightweight. You could wear these in a professional setting as they look fantastic. I wash and dry my pants and I'm not sure if that is why they have extreme pilling all over and threading coming undone. The pilling is not just where my legs rub against the fabric, it's all over the thigh area. The threading is undone along the waistband and the pockets. I wish I would have spent a little bit more money to get pants that would have lasted longer than 2 months.

In the picture the nocturnal color looks like a navy blue. Not even close more like a steel blue. This is the only reason I'm returning them. I own 3 pair in the black and love them. Would love to see some better color choices.

I am 5'2", 115lbs, I purchased the size 4 short. Fit and length were great! The only reason I returned it was the odd tapering at the the knees, it made the boot cut look more like a flare. I would have kept them if the taper was minimal.

I have Anytime Outdoor in capris (5 colors), full leg, and boot cut. I am 5'5", 125 lbs, and wear a size 8 in this style. I normally wear a 6 in other pants, so think this runs a little small. I need a 30-31" inseam, so I get the regular length and shorten them about an inch. I tried that with these boot cut but could not get the hems even. Turns out the right leg is 1/2" longer than the left. This is also evident when checking the darts at the knees--one is 1/2" lower. I decided to keep and fix the pants since I needed them but wish I had sent them back.

I ordered a size 4 and the pants fit perfectly. However these are very form fitting and hugged my bum a little too tightly. My friend ordered a size 6 and I tried hers on to compare. These also fit well, but again, the way the pant is cut, they really accentuate the butt. Also panty lines are pretty visible with this pant. I will be returning these and trying the full leg version, in hopes that they don't hug the rear so tightly. However, I will note that my friend does have a smaller butt then me and she really loves the pants.

I recently lost weight and couldn't wear my Columbia pants this year. It was one of the first items I bought in my new size.

I bought the short instead of the regular length. Not good; with the short size, it's also smaller every where else. Had to send back for the regular length. Easy process!

Not fitting for woman with a butt due to it being more low rise! I would have loved them if I didn't feel like when I bend over to work with patients my shirt would untuck and expose my booty! Size fit well around the waist!

It is very very low waist and if you have a behind, it won't sit well.

Black size 12R waist is about 2 inches smaller than Blue same size. Poor quality control.

I purchased a size 10-like my other 2 pairs that i wear but the brown ones are very snug-which is weird
