This pant is my go to for most all activities except during cold winter months. Super comfortable with 4 way stretch and they look nice for work. I am 5'2 and it's wonderful they offer these in a short length. My only issue is they pill up over time ( this only 4 stars). My first 2 pairs I just washed and dried in the dryer. My recent pairs I line dry only and they are holding up way better. I hope Columbia never discontinues this style !

I hike in pants all summer long to help avoid bug bites, and the Anytime Outdoor pants are light and breathable enough to wear in The Texas heat. My only complaint is that the cut is a bit smaller in the thighs than other Columbia pants I own. They aren't restricting, but heavier pants like the Back Beauty are a better fit for someone with bigger thighs like me. But overall these pants are a great choice for warm weather hiking.

These are my go-to dog-walking pants for the Texas sun. Easy on, easy off. The bootcut fit is really flattering to my body (5'4", 121 lbs, short legs), and I get lots of nice comments from my hub when I wear them. One negative: the fabric does tend to pill.

Very comfy pants and lightweight! Wish they were in the factory store instead of online but other then that satisfies with my purchase! I do wish the bottoms would have been slightly wider

These pants are light weight, resist water are stretchy and dry fast. I use these pants for traveling, hiking or walking. They have two side pockets and one back pocket. They have a string belt, which is nice so I don't have to wear a heavy belt. When I fly, I always wear these pants. They are comfortable to sit in for long hours and look nice. If I spill something on them, they are easy to clean. I hang dry them and when traveling, they dry nice enough to wear without ironing. I have several pair of these pants and love them. What I have found is that they stretch to the next size up, so I purchase the pants so they are snug. I am not fond of the velcro closure on the back pocket because it snags my shirt or jacket, otherwise I love these pants.

I have been buying these pants for years. Absolutely love them. My only recommendation is for Columbia to please stop making the waist smaller each year.

Great neutral color, fit, and easy to wear for travel and hikes. I wish it had more pockets and that the length was not as long though.

These are by far my favorite outdoor bottoms. The fit is great, though a little small (like most Columbia items). I love the quick-dry and light fabric. These stretch with you and are great fir in the lake or the trails! Be careful when you wash them... the string likes to completely fall out and gets chewed up by the washer. It's happened to a couple pairs of my shorts.

Love this style ... have them in boot cut, ankle & capri & in various colors. The downside is the waist tie, do NOT like ties on any pants or skirts! A waist tie ALWAYS sticks out & shows under tighter tops; so, I remove them, but, then you have the holes. Best would be a smooth front! Am I to understand this style has been discontinued ... VERY SAD if so!!!

I'm a little concerned that the snap MAY rip out of the material over time. I do love the fit. I bought six in total.

I bought a short but they are still way too long.
Also a bit snug.

I bought these to use at work and for casual wear. I love the feel of the pants. They do run a little long on me compared to other pants I have bought for Columbia.

Love these pants. They're super comfortable, nice and light but hopefully durable. (I've only had them for a few weeks.) The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because I ordered 2 pairs in 2 different colors (green and black). And the green pair was noticeably smaller than the black pair. Both size 6 according to the tag, but not actually the same size. So, I had to go to the trouble of returning the too-small size and ordering a size up. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice if ordering different colors didn't also mean ordering different sizes.

This is a great pant for summer vacations! the only fault I have found (which is common for many clothing items) is that the seams pucker after washing, even in cold water. This makes it harder to pass this pant off as "dressy" when going out to dinner.

Love these pants, the only reason I did not give them 5 stores is I wished they were a little longer and the black and blue ones were the only colors I really cared for. I also would LOVE to see them in a light stone colored (no green or yellow in the color) a nice neutral. And maybe a white (not optic) or a light Khaki. I do have 4 pairs, 2 in black and 2 in the blue. Perfect for us that like the boot cut look, great if you have large calves.

I ordered these in Tusk, after reading countless reviews, but did not get my size quite right. I am 5'4", 125 pounds (muscular build) 34-27-37 and for a 4 regular, but probably need a 6 short. The 4 fits and I have room to move but is a little too form fitting for my taste.

I bought two pairs, both in black, plus a full leg pair in khaki. The boot cut is tighter through the thighs than the full leg.
Pros:
Most comfortable pair of pants I have worn in a long time!
The style and cut are very flattering.
Love the UPF sun protection.
These travel beautifully!
While not meant as cold weather pants, I was able to layer a pair of long johns underneath to stay warm on a recent Alaskan cruise.
Love the pockets! The back pocket is large enough for my wallet, while my phone slides nicely into a front pocket.
Cons:
The black bootleg pants have a different fabric feel than the full leg khakis. With that in mind, the black pairs are both starting to pill on the thighs whereas the khaki pair is not. The pilling causes the black pairs to go from a wear anywhere pant to more casual settings which is unfortunate because I could live in these pants.
The Velcro on the back pocket adheres to the pants if not tended to correctly - it also grabs a hold of my knit tunicsif I'm not careful.

The pants are comfortable and will be used for hiking and other outdoors pursuits. My only issue is I wish the legs did not flare as much on the botton.

These pants are very comfortable. I'm about 5'6" and they are a little long. I ordered gravel thinking they were a dark gray but they're more green. Overall I would recommend.

These pants are super comfy and have a flattering fit, unlike a lot of hiking pants out there. The waist is not too tight and there's a drawstring so it can be tightened if needed. While hiking on a warm day, I did notice the material seemed to stretch and feel a bit weighed down. Also, will have to wait and see how durable they are, but so far very happy with this style.

I had 2 pairs of these from 2014 and just love them. Very comfortable and versatile. However when I ordered three new pairs (this year) they are more of the active fit so they are a bit tighter than the old ones which are relaxed fit. I could still wear them and decided to keep them but had I been about 5#heavier they wouldn't had worked. I would prefer they went back to the relaxed fit which is why i gave the function only a 4. - my wife's review

I have worn these pants for about 12 washes. The fabric does pill in the crotch area. They are very comfortable. Because of the stretch some hem/pocket stitching did break soon after purchase.

I now have 4 pairs of these pants in different colors! Love them. I am a teacher and wear them all day every day with a variety of tops. My only complaint, same complaint as many, is that they are a wee bit short. I am 5'8'' tall and I could use an inch to an inch and a half more to the inseam. I would have recommended them to my daughters but they are both over 5'9". If it wasn't for the length they would be perfect and 5 stars.
