These pants are great and comfortable, but the regular inseam is just not long enough. I can't even wear regular shoes without them being too short :( Columbia, please make these in longs and I would order every color!!

These seem to be made well, do run smaller than true to size, are too short for someone who is 5'9" tall, 134lbs, and needs a 32" inseam. This bootcut style needs to be longer so they are not ankle length. Being these pants have a snap and a tie at the waist it is Not for handicapped peps because if that tie gets into a knot -one gets stuck in the bathroom because ya cannot get the knot undone without help! I had to return all pants with a tie. I would recommend these nice pants - just not for me. I've read where other peps say they stretch out a bit so the that makes sense why the tie closure is there.

These pants are very comfortable, they move with me. True to size. I have a 27' inseam so I ordered the short not regular, fits perfectly.

These pants are perfect for any traveling. They can be dressed up or dressed down. Very comfortable. They do stretch a little with time.

These are great light weight pants. They are just formal enough for some things, but not too formal for other things. i use them for work often. I always wear size 12, and this is the first time that they were a little bigger than expected. Its just the drawstring with no button or belt loops, so it does make it harder to keep these pants up, especially if you have a phone or keys in your pockets. Also the pockets do not zip or snap, so be careful not to lose anything. Great pants.

I tried on the size 4 at the store and it fit me perfectly except the length. I needed the short length, so I ordered it. The length is perfect (I'm 5'2"), but the thighs seem a little snug compared to the regular length. I was expecting the fit to be the same with just the length being different. I still like them. They are great for warm humid weather when jeans are too thick!

I love the material of the Anytime Pant; functional, lightweight, extremely comfortable. The Bootcut Pant has always run smaller than the other styles, but the pair I recently bought runs even smaller than the pairs purchased a year ago; especially in the legs. I had to buy another size larger (12) to fit my legs in a slim way, but then the waist/hip area was pretty large and created a gathered affect. The drawstring adjusts some but not enough for a proper fit. For reference I am 5'10", 157. I wear 8/10 in the Anytime Full Leg and Straight Leg Pant styles. (Size 10 being a very relaxed look) I hope Columbia will adjust the legs on the bootcut- Also hope they keep the Anytime Pant material and create more styles and colors!

This is my first pair of hiking pants. I ordered this and the full pants at the same time and I love both. These are slimmer but not uncomfortably so, and they do relax more as you wear them. It however does keep its shape. I love the stretchy material. It's also very lightweight - perfect for summer, but you'll need to wear something underneath if you want to use these in winter. I'm not sure if I like the cut of these or the full leg version better, but I do want to order more in case they no longer make these in the future. Sizing is spot on.

I've had these for a year now and echo all the positive things most people say about them: they look good, are cozy and light, they repel water and dry quick. My complaints are: they are a little too thin to protect your legs from brambles and insects, they are too short (I'm 5'9" and would prefer a long), after a year of frequent use they've started to pill in a few places, and I wish they came in more colors (greens and tans). However, I like them enough to order them again. I wear them in environments where looks, freedom of movement, and light weight are most important.

the drawstring made from the same fabric is too slippery. It doesn't stay tied properly--an especially inconvenient problem since I had to order up a size because the pants run small. If I double knot the tie, it cuts into my waist. If I don't double knot, I'm constantly hitching the pants up. Have decided to go to a sewing store to see if I can find a replacement material.

I have womanly hips and a smaller waist. Pants NEVER fit me without alterations. Therefore I never buy pants until they go on sale because I know I'll have to alter them. With the aid of the adjustable waist, these fit really well. NO alteration needed. They are lightweight, cool and perfect for travel. I washed them in the bathtub of my hotel.

Only the web site had the short length, so I ordered. Delivery took longer than other online purchases and they are more flared than represented so that's why I didn't rate excellent. Item needed a little pressing and good to go.

I bought these to bring to a camp where we were required to wear long pants, and I was so grateful that I had them! They breathed well in the heat and were flexible and soft. I go compliments about the pants and questions about where I got them. My only problem with them is that they ride up a bit when hiking and so I have to pull them down a bit as I go, but I'm sure that happens often with pants that are more fitted. Also, they wrinkle easily, so keep them folded or hung up. (sizes for reference: 5'8'', 135 lbs, pear-shaped)

These are nice but even in short they are to long.

I love how comfortable and strechy the pants are, but I wish the pockets were deeper and that you had a straight legged version of this pant in the tusk color. The snap button is a problem area. One of the pairs I purchaced from the store, the button already broke. I think it could also rip out the material if you pulled to hard.

I tried these on after ordering and they were just a bit too tight in the thighs for my taste. You'd have to be tall and skinny to feel comfortable in these pants - and I am short, petite and average weight. So, I sent them back. Nice weight and good stretch to the fabric. Would be appropriate for everyday wear. Great choices of colors, too. And, I liked that the waist was adjustable with the tie, as many pants do not fit me at the top.

Got these pants for fishing because of the SPF 50. They are great for everyday casual use as well. I bought the black pair in a store then got online to find more colors. The "tusk" color was true to fit just like the black pair. However, the "boulder" color was about a size smaller. I'm sending them back for a size 10. I generally wear a 6-8. I'm small in the waist and bigger in the hips so I get the "gap" factor when I buy pants. That is the beauty of these pants. They are fitted and don't gap but still are roomy in the legs. Just wished they came in tall. They are about a 32 inch inseam and I prefer 33-34.

Everything about these pants was great, except I really don’t like the waist with a drawstring, no elastic or belt loops. They would always feel like they were falling down…gotta return them.

I have a pair of these pants that I love, but the sizing and material are different. They are now too tight in the waist and no longer stretch as they used to.

Nice pants but I had to return them because they were too tight in the legs. I have two other pairs of Columbia pants in size 12, and they fit me very well, so I was disappointed that these did not.

Color was nice but size was too small and had to return.

Very light weight but seems to be good quality. Wish they were a little longer.

Hard to give an overall rating because the fabric and length are great....the sizing is way off though and the rise is too low. I had to purchase a pair that was 2 sizes larger than I normally wear. The rise really needs to be higher also (making them more forgiving).

These didn’t work for me. I usually wear a 10 in pants but sized up for comfort. They fit fine in the waist and hips but the pockets were not in a flattering position. They were also a little short on me. For reference, I am about 5’7” with long legs. They would probably work for someone who is a little shorter.
