These boots are very comfortable and feel good on my wide feet. I used these for elk hunting in early September this year and was very pleased with them. I would give them a 5 star review but after putting around 50 miles on them I noticed that the sole was separating a little. I was debating if this was worthy of a 3 star rating or 4 star because of this. I'm not sure if a better shoe glue is needed or what but I will try to fix this on my current pair because I do really like these boots.

It was really important that these hiking boots fit, and they do. I'm in training for a 20-mile fundraising hike, and no matter what I did, I could not break them in after several months. Zappos took them back and I ordered these. Today was the first day of walking 10 miles and these boots made the team. Thanks Zappos for your power of service.

A good quality mid-level hiking boot. While a bit heavier then some of my previous Columbia Hiking Boots it is still extremely comfortable for 3 to 5 mile hikes over moderate terrain. The feet remained dry while crossing some swampy terrain and minor submersion in a stream just below the toe. These boots did run small. I normally wear a size 9.5 but I had to move up tona size 10.

I would get a half size larger, and a width larger than you think you need.

Nice lightweight boot - ordered my normal size 10 1/2 wide. Narrow for wide especially in the toe box - exchanged for 11 wide 11 W still felt cramped but others said okay after wearing them - desperate for work boots I kept them Now maybe the garbage man will find them when I toss them ! Too cramped Get a full size over and expect them to be narrow in wide width

My most recent Columbia boots were slightly small. I kept that in mind when ordering these. Perfect fit, so at least Columbia is consistent (though from years past, I remember Columbia boots being just a little larger). This pair has mesh and suede exterior material, instead of the hard leather of my most recent pair of Columbia boots. This pair seems to better isolate my feet from external temperatures and also cushions my feet better. A very good value.

Loved the boot however I wear a size 10 in most every shoe brand I purchase, including Columbia. However, in this particular boot size 10 was just a smidge too short. Had to send them back. I may purchase again when they go on sale.

I searched for shoes that had a good look, would be durable and waterproof for winter weather. Columbia brand shoes are well made and know for its durability. However is sad to say that the Men's Crestwood shoes are not, repeat, are NOT WATERPROOF as advertise. Not happy with wet socks.

I purchased these to hike the woods checking my game cameras. I have not fully submerged them , but they have kept my feet dry in wet vegetation. They seem lightweight, comfortable, and well made. The only drawback I have found is that they are slightly narrow on my feet if I wear heavy socks on a cold day. I would definitely recommend these for the price

I have been wearing Columbia hiking boots of a very similar manner to this for years and have been very happy with my purchases. These have been no exception, they have good grip as I wear them in the winter as weather allows. So yes they have seen some ice and snow. This leads into their next good feature the wind and waterproofing is excellent, again weather dependent and I think I have reasonable expectations for them. I have yet to have wet feet in reasonable situations. I do not wear them out in areas where I expect to see snow a foot deep or if I might have to cross a creek where the whole boot is submerged. The first few days I was actually skeptical if their fit as I ordered a wide and they seemed snugger than I expected but after two days of casual wear they actually loosened up to a good tight fit. Which is why I said they run a little small up above, but given a little break in time I think they do run true to size. But I also know people who would have sent them back after a few hours of wear for the tightness and corresponding discomfort for various foot ailments. So so.ething a prospective buter might need to consider. Overall a good light duty boot.

Good support and cushioning. A bit tight across the width, but may break in. Good amount of ankle support and nice tread

I purchased these boots for winter use (I don't hike much). So far so good and they are much warmer than they look. My feet stay nice and warm even in single digit temps.

I usually purchase the Newton Ridge boot, and have been pleased with it. But this time I decided to try something new. The Crestwood is quite comparable though it does run a bit more narrow. I expected that it would breath a little more than the Newton Ridge but I didn't find it to be that much different. So far it's wearing as expected, haven't gotten real wet yet so I can't comment on that aspect. When laced up the boot doesn't seem to close up all the way at the ankle so that may allow snow/rain etc to get inside.

These run narrow towards the toe. Had to return them and get an extra wide one. I usually order medium and they fit fine.

Doesn't fix the proper size, too short. Quality seems to be good but we didn't try it.
