I adore the style of all Vans! These make perfect work shoes.

I love these shoes. They 100% work better than any non slip shoes I've ever tried. I work in fast food and these shoes do their job! The only con I do have is the black looks a little green in some lightings. If you are thinking about buying these do it! I love them so much I had to get them in the hightop version as well!

I like this shoe, the canvas is a different shade of black than the suede on the toe and heel of the shoe which bothers me a bit. They are comfy, my feet have never hurt in them, even with 20K+ steps a day put on them. They aren't the best slip resistant shoes I've had, but unless you're running around a wet kitchen, they do fine. They seem like they run a bit large, so maybe size down half a size or so. I work at a restaurant so I probably won't be using these too often but they work great if you don't have to work fast around wet floors or frequent spills!

I would recommend if you are looking for comfortable work shoes and if you love the look and feel of vans. The reason I rated a 4 star is because laces felt allitle to long but that is probably just me. But I highly recommend and would buy if I ever need new ones.

I got a pair of the slip-ons first. They were comfortable but were too big even though I ordered the same size of all of my other MANY pairs of Vans. On my second pair I decided to go for the Old Skools. They are very comfortable. But again, they are SO much wider than normal Old Skools and for some reason the laces are about a foot longer than I need them to be. Ridiculously long. I am buying shorter non-Vans laces to replace because I keep stepping on the laces and untying them accidentally. I do not work in the kitchen so I can't speak to the non-slip factor. But I can speak to the comfort level and the color which I see was called into question by someone else. They are very comfortable and they are black. Not gray. Not bluish. They are monochrome black. I would buy again.

I work 45 a week stocking, shoes are comfortable, only down fall they lasted 2 months, side ripped, top unglued but bottom sole held up pretty good. Excuse how dirty they are hot souce broke splattered all over my shoe. So for the price it's 50/50. They are comfortable but not durable at least for that job. Buying my 2nd pair, i will not be stocking now so we see how they hold up.

THE MATERIAL IS NOT BLEACH PROOF, my company uses bleach on the tables and shoes was ruined first day. They were comy for the few hours I used them.

While some of these comments say they are not slip resistant, I wouldn't put it past them but they are great for standing up 12 hours a day.

Pros: water proof (hello big dog splash zone for my feet as I wash them), slip proof (okay even w most hair detanglers sprayed on tile floors), hair proof (shoe laces do collect hair after a while), insole lasts about a year (heavy use), I haven't had issues with soles falling apart but replaced about 1.5 year into first pair bc I needed the comfy Cush insole not a diff brand. Cons: can collect hair in laces eventually, insoles start to die pretty fast, cannot buy Comfy Cush Insoles in their own. I'd pay a lot for those bad boys to be sold! Overall I've lived in this shoe since beginning of Covid. Best option I've tried in my 15 years grooming.

Perfect pair of kicks for someone who is on there feet all day. I work construction and they are perfect for light duty days doing interior work.

I've been wanting to buy a pair of these to try out for a while and while they're really comfortable and non-slip, I'm not sure if they're worth the steep price tag??

I've slipped and fallen in these shoes more than any other non slip shoe I've bought. They are comfortable and the canvas ones breathe pretty well, plus they look cooler than almost all non slip options. But that non slip factor it's questionable at best. Would not buy again.
