I wore my "made for the makers" shoes today for the first time. I was on my feet for 7 hours with very little break. These shoes were super comfortable, well padded. My feet didn't hurt at all. If your work involves standing for long hours, these shoes are for you.

ill be buying my third pair soon. granted this is over like 5 or 6 years of working in them. Ive worked in various forms of industrial manufacturing. some jobs ive been allowed to wear non steel toes but needed safety shoes of some sort. these counted for those. being slip resistant and comfy was all I needed, and they did that. most work shoes ive had to also buy some sort of insert, but not these. they also hold up better than a lot of work shoes ive bought in the past. they also look decent enough to wear out. if I need to be fancier than normal vans or flip flops but not fancy enough for actual nice shoes, these kinda blend in just enough you won't notice they're vans. 10/10. absolute poggers. my only gripe is I cant wear them at some jobs I might have that require steel toes. please make a steel toe version!!

I've had my pair of these for a little over a year now and they've been my most reliable daily driver, especially in the summer when I can't wear my doc martens. As the title says, they survived a sewage flood in the pizza shop I worked at, as well as the job itself! I've hopped around various retail/foodservice jobs and they're still kicking. Before buying these, my feet were always killing me by the end of my shifts, but I've pulled doubles in these bad boys without much pain at all, and my coworkers are always surprised & impressed that they're Vans!

These shoes are lifesavers for service industry. I grew up in ballet so I have bad feet, and I never have any pain working/walking 8+ hour days. I've had my pair since 2018 and am just now looking to replace them, 5yrs later. DEAR SERVERS & BARTENDERS, TAKE CARE OF YOUR FEET with these shoes < 3

Almost every pair of shoes I own are Vans & when they came out with the Made for the Makers line, I had to try them out. I work in a pastry kitchen and these shoes are even comfier than regular Vans. They fit true to your normal size which is also a big plus!

I thought I had found the shoe I would buy again and again when I found the Distruct SF as it fit my wider then normal feet and lasted longer then any other vans I had tried... but it was discontinued by the time they wore out after years of daily ware as a mechanic. After trying a number of MFM models, I found the Old Skool MFM shoe that has the same fit and feel. The only complaint, being trivial, is that the textile portion is more of a dark green-gray rather then the advertised and image depicted black. I'll see if they can last nearly as long. Though gave this shoe 5 stars and I would recommend these to friends, it all would still rely of the shoes longevity.

this is my third pair I work at a gas station on my feet all day, didn't know vans had slip resistant. Until I found this it's worth paying for. my boss didn't think they were work shoes until I showed him the bottom of my shoe it's different then regula van's. Thank you I'm a fan for sure , I just purchased the high top today!!

They're comfortable and durable. I'm on my feet a lot at work. Doing various things. And they get the job done

I work 10-18 hours 5-7 days a week at two different bars. I've always worn Vans, but these are above and beyond.

I bought these for my girlfriend and she's a waffle head part of vans family for long time and she is beyond happy with these shoes says there the most comfortable shoes she's ever had since the xte line . Super appreciate it her not coming home with aching feet from work .

These shoes have lasted me over a year working in a restaurant. I disagree with others, they're 100% nonslip, they're great shoes. Please keep making

Found a slip resistant shoe that actually looks good wearing. Comfortable is a plus.

I bought a pair of made for makers when I got hired at my job 2 years ago. They final died so I got a new pair. 10/10 would rec for foh/boh restaurant

I got a new hard-working job. I couldn't find shoes helped my feet. A friend recommended vans. I never knew they made work shoes. My feet thank you.

Very comfortable and the non slip is a huge plus. My only complaint is the black canvas is more gray than black.

I went 1/2 size up and found them to be super comfortable and light weight. I would love the black to be more rich instead of having green under tones but that goes for all vans shoes. Im curious to see how long they last since they di feel a little too light but we will see. Also i work weekends at a restaurant for 8-10 hours and poor feet / shoes go through alot

I use them for work at a restaurant and they have good grip. Outside of work I wear Vans alot so they fit my style. Only wish the black of the shoes wear the same color black if that make sense lol

Nice cleans shoe. Very comfortable with the ultra Cush insoles. The soles grip big to nearly anything. Definitely will buy again.
