These booties are darling! I loved the way they looked and they were a great quality, but they run about a half size too small. I am a size 8, and the booties were tight with thin socks on. Also, I have never had this problem before with any booties, but these hit at an uncomfortable location on the ankle and, after wearing for only a few minutes, I could tell that they would hurt my ankles. I wanted to be able to wear them with no show socks.

The fit was very small. I wear a 7.5 with plenty of room in the Joan of Arctic lace up boots (I have 3 pairs and they’re awesome!), and the 7.5 was very tight in these. They were super cute, so I ordered the 8 to try. The foot was then the correct fit (so definitely go up a half size), but then the leather dug into my ankle super bad. If I could stand still all day, they’re adorable, but to walk in them was torture. I’ll be returning them. Sad because they are sooo cute. It did push me to try the zip ankle ones though, and those fit truer to size and didn’t dig in my ankle (they’re slightly shorter)! So if you’re considering these, maybe try those instead, or try both!

Unable to get completely on. Instep is so tight that it is impossible to get my foot into the boot even with the zipper unzipped. I really love the style of this shoe. I was super disappointed that I was unable to wear. And boy did I try!!!!

They were super small. I got my foot into them and they were really tight. When I got my foot out, the whole insert came out too. I returned them and got a different style

The design of the Joan of Arctic wedge 2 is so BASIC & BORING now that the design team eliminated the iconic cap toe seam. Seriously, at best I give it a -5 stars rating & would NOT RECOMMEND this poor design choice released by the designers. #epicfail
Bring the Joan of Arctic I back with that gorgeous cap toe seam!!! I will always choose the Joan of Arctic I lines over the design flaws of the Joan of Arctic 2. By removing the cap toe seam the shoe looks less elegant, wider and more masculine. #cheap #basicbitch
On sizing notes the shoe is NOT TRUE to size anymore either. I am a perfect 9.5 according to the older quality version Sorel produced, but now one shoe was larger and one shoe was smaller. Quality control seriously missing! I did notice the heels are wider in this model and there are inconsistencies between right and left shoe. What a wast of my shipping fees!

So disappointing because these boots are adorable! I read the reviews about how they felt smaller and tight when putting on. I ordered a full size larger to hopefully have a good fit. Nope, unfortunately, they were still super tight in putting on (like really hard to even get my foot in (zipper seemed like it should have came down further or something). My super thin tights/stockings were pulled so tight and, even though I love the look, regrettably had to return them as I would have never been able to actually wear them for more than 5 minutes. :( Hope I can find something similar that fits! :)

The left boot was made smaller than the right, and super tight on my foot, And the color did not match the picture, I am really bummed they were so small, and a size 7 is my normal size in every shoe!! I would suggest going a 1/2 size bigger. These boots are adorable, so bummed I am sending them back!!

I have so many Sorel shoes and love them all, however these missed the mark. I ordered my usual size and it sort of fits except when I slide my foot in the boot pulls my sock back and tortures my toes. These are so unbearable that I cannot wear them. I have tried everything, even no socks. I wish I could return these for something else as they are hopeless.
