I received these today and I instantly loved them. However, I was so surprised that I fell within the category with those who complained about the sizing. I originally wear an 8.5 and a 9 is usually too big. I have narrow feet. I ordered a 9 trying to be safe considering some of the reviews and I was disappointed to find out that even though the width was perfect, the length was a bit short on my toes. I just ordered another pair which is a 10 because the half sizes only adjust the width not the length. They are beautiful and seem comfortable but I had to order a bigger size. I have never worn anything above a 9 in my life so please note that they do run small. I will write another review once I receive the new size.

Cute boot and seemed of good quality. Rating reflects sizing issue. I ordered my usual size and couldn't get my foot in. Runs very small.

I ordered the elk but its not the same color. Not a smooth reddish brown. They are very soft distressed light brown color. Kind of disappointed

Love my Joan of Arctics in black. However, it is very difficult getting my feet into them. Very tight entry, pushing my socks so tightly against my toes that they hurt after a full day of wear. I haven't figured out how to put them on without this happening. When taking the shoes off, the insert comes out, too. They are smaller than what other reviewers suggested. I made sure to try them on in a brick-and-mortar store before purchasing. Usually, I'm a 9, but I bought an 8.5. Comfy when walking but I don't know if I'd wear them on a long walk.

This pair of boots is very beautiful and well made. The problem is it is very snug around the toes. I went up two half sizes and it is big everywhere else and snug around the toes. I never have this problem. So I bought a different pair of boots from Sorel and I sent these two back. Too bad cause I really like them.

I purchased this boot in Elk and was disappointed that color is not as shown. It is a light brown/camel color. I have another Joan of arc boot (w/out buckles) in that color and was excited for this style and what I thought was more of a rich medium brown color. Back they go....

I ordered the Elk color and what I received was light brown. The boot was so hard to get on and once it was on it was so tight it pinched the back of my foot. My intention is to wear them through the Wisconsin fall and winter. I am going to purchase a new pair in a 1/2 size up. Fingers crossed they fit and the color is accurate. I purchased the Joan of Arctic Wedge and love them. I have had them for 2 years and still in great shape, a few of my friends have purchased them as well. I was really disappointed when they showed up the wrong color, hard to get on and painful. I would recommend this product but I would say order the next size up because they are small.

These boots are so cute and I really wanted to like them, but they simply didn't fit. I am a consistent shoe size 6, but the 6 fit like a 5. I returned the 6 and exchanged for a 6.5 and it was too loose.

I will be returning these. They run small and very tight. One shoe is tighter than the other. I even sized up half a size and they're still too small. I gave 2 stars simply because they're cute but not functional.

This boot is so cute. I wish it would have been true to size. I own 6 pair of Joan of Arctic wedges, I love them. They give me the height I need and they are the most comfortable boots ever except for the Wedge Buckle Bootie. I wear a size seven, these felt like a size six. I am a medium width and these were really narrow. I could barely get my foot in this boot. I was very disappointed. I shipped them back for a refund.

They arrived scuffed and damaged like they had been worn. The solutions they provided weren't ideal. It was less than perfect for a product so pricey.

I bought this two months ago I ordered a size 7 my regular size I couldn't even get my foot in them I returned them and ordered a half size up the 7.5 I barely got my foot in I had to squeezed it in not only was it tight the boot was so narrow I ended up returning these too. I was thinking of ordering a size 8 which might be better but not sure because of the width of this boot how it's made.

I ordered an 8, put the boys on and they were too small. I was surprised because I already own these in a different color and the 8 is perfect. When I checked the label inside the boot, they are actually a 7.5. Very disappointing. Not sure how a mix up like that can happen when you order directly from the manufacturer. Now I have the hassle of having to return them.

I was so excited to get the Joan Of Arctic Wedge II Buckle Bootie, but was quickly disappointed when I couldn't get my foot in. I am a size 6.5 and had an extremely difficult time getting these boots on with and without socks. For reference, I have two other pairs of Sorel - Women's Lexie Wedge Boot and Women's Joan of Arctic Wedge II Zip Bootie. Both are a size 6.5 and fit great with and without socks (even thick socks). I'm even more annoyed that I have to pay for return shipping when I wanted to exchange for the next size up. Sorel, please mark these boots as "Runs Small" for future buyers. I will be sizing up because I'm determined to make these work.

I have been wanting a pair of sorels for a couple of months, I finally made the purchase. I based my buy off of the reviews, everybody gave a good review. These shoes are not comfortable, they are very narrow tip. I buy another pair a size bigger thinking it would help, I have to return my boots because I cant wear them, they are to small and very narrow.

The actual product is not the same color as the picture, it's light brown
